Went Smoothly
Replacing an Optimum installed router.
Simple instructions using phone app. Plugged in additional ports after wifi setup completed.
House is back up. Range is better than before. Chose to control router from laptop going forward.
Wall mounting needs small headed screws.. Should have been included.
Hardest step...Giving wifi a new name.

Is able to fully use my 1 Gbps WAN link and keep up with the 40 devices at home. Very good signal coverage across multiple rooms.
The only weird thing about the router is that the power cord is very short (<1 m). My router is close to the ceiling and I used an extension cord. Other routers I previously used had an adequate power cord.

Best high-mid router to replace my Fios router
This MR7500/AXE6600 router replaces my Vzn Fios G3100 router and it's every bit as good and even better speed wise. My Dell all-in-one PC is connected to it via cat-5 ethernet and it gets very close to my symmetrical gigabit rated speeds down and up. The wifi speeds on 5Ghz and 6Ghz are signif slower in the 3xx-4xx Mbps but that's to be expected when using WPA encryption which penalizes your speeds by 35%. You'll also take a performance hit due to simultaneous streaming to your tv sticks/boxes, cells, tablets, laptops, and connecting to your VPN. Anyway, the takeaway is that all these speeds are a bit better than Vzn's own router. Some other important benefits are that the four antennas articulate so you can direct the signal up, down, etc if you live in a multistory townhouse and that's on top of the beam steering it does already. And though it wants to bind all bands together by default, you can easily separate them into 2.4Ghz, 5Ghz, and 6Ghz bands to service smart home devices that use the 2.4Ghz band. It's also very easy to manage the router from your PC as well as from the mobile app. The only thing I miss from prior Linksys routers is the network map it would draw and that you could filter devices shown via ethernet, 2Ghz band, etc; now it's a list which can grow to be very long these days. Doesn't really matter since once you get things set up, you're never really in the management interface that much anymore. I'm really content with this router and hope it lasts years and years especially since it's got that 5Gbps internet connection port that'll easily accommodate connection speeds for the near future.

Performs As Advertised
Have been using this router for about six (6) months. Very easy set up with excellent firmware. The router has great range, so much so I removed the mesh system that I had been using. The router is rock steady. I use Spectrum internet service and pay for 500 gbps and consistently return that or slightly faster score on Okla Speedtest. This router is price as a bargain on this website.

I paired Motorola's mb8611 modem with this router Linksys Atlas Max 6E and Tri-Band AXE8400 Mesh WiFi 6E System using ISP-Xfinity's Gigabit Extra Plan in a 2 500sq foot home and the speeds are unbelievable, A+ from my experience!

WiFi 6E router with no WiFi 6 hardware...
I bought this with the hope of speeding up my lan connections. Connecting from my laptop(HP Zbook 17 G2 & G3) ----> Router(EA9500) --> Modem (Arris SB8200DOCSIS® 3.1) and was only getting 400 - 500MB+ download speed. When plugged directly into the modem I would get 940-950MB down. Clearly the router is the issue so i decided to get a new router hoping that it could keep up with my modem.
Yes, it worked out as planned! Not only does it keep up with the modem, my WiFi connections to all other devices is noticeably faster! ;-))

Powerful Router.
I purchased this router a month ago as my older Wi-Fi router was starting to drop some of my security cameras upstairs in my tri-level home. I must say, this new Hydra Pro 6E Router is enormously powerful, as it automatically picked up all my security cameras, Tablets, cell phones, and several Laptops in my home with ease. Since my home is a 2700 square foot tri-level home, I also installed upstairs a Linksys 6 series Wi-Fi Extender just to have a strong signal upstairs. I do have 57 Wi-Fi items on this new Hydra 6E Router, and every item has an extraordinarily strong signal with none of my security cameras dropping off. I am incredibly happy with this new Hydra Pro 6E Router, and it is extremely easy to set up!

MR7500 works great
Only installed for 24 hours but is working great so far. Experiencing faster speeds overall. This replaced an EA9300 router. This is the 3rd Linksys router I have had and would not install anything else. The only small problem was setting up the new router with the mobile app. I had to close out the old Linksys Smart Account, uninstall the Linksys mobile app then reinstall the Linksys mobile app in order for the app to recognize the new router.

This is a great router. Setup was very easy using app for the iPhone. Connecting all of my devices, PC, two Laptops, two iPhones and three wireless printers all went quickly. Very happy and the speed of this router is noticeably better than my older Linksys Router. I would definitely recommend this product.

EXCELLENT ROUTER. WOULD BUY AGAIN
I installed this on my Motorola MB8611 modem and connected through the Linksys app in minutes. My Linksys Hydra Pro 6E Router works like a charm. I had an old Nighthawk C7000 modem/router and would get maybe 300mbps tops. After the switch to my newer set up, I constantly got 700-720mbps and 24up on my Note 20 Ultra 5G and Ethernet connection from my router to the PS5 around 600-650mbps. I have a 600mbps plan through Xfinity and it goes above that. Plan to upgrade to Gigabit speeds soon and I'm sure it won't disappoint. I like that the Hydra is 6E capable and is future proof for now. Will add some devices soon to take advantage of the 6Ghz/6E soon. I would highly recommend this router. Very good signal throughout my home with fast speeds.
