EA7300 Rocks The House!!
I have had this router for sometime now. 3 Story house with the router on the 3rd fl front stairway. Easily supports 5 cameras from the basement / outside and throughout. Love my Linksys Smart Wi-Fi app! For all users of different levels of experience. Looking to try the Mesh routers / nodes as well because the security features WPA2/WPA3 2.4 and 5GHz.
This routers highest security is WPA2 Personal which is still fine security. Recommend highly for the cost and usage. The house has over 30 devices connected to it.

Great router
Have this router for 5 years now, runs great, only had to power cycle it once. Have ps5, 2 pcs, 3 phones, TV and other devices connected to it. great speed and rock solid.

Great router until it died
I bought one of this model a few years ago and it lasted for years. It tried doing a firmware update at one time, then the internet stopped working with it - it would have to be unplugged and restarted several times at once hoping the next restart would take. It got to the point I couldn't even log into it anymore. It was a fantastic router while it lasted.

Update old LNKSYS router
I decided to update my old WIFI router because constant drops and reboots. I called customer tech support and got a great choice in the ea7300 router. Setup was relatively easy. Now with the virus keeping people in, I am so glad I replaced my router.

Very pleased with my purchase.
After having a router from my internet carrier I wasn’t receiving WiFi in certain parts of my apartment, after I purchased this router from PC RichardS I have no problem. With the carriers router my programs use to be always loading now I am happy with my purchase. Thanks to the manager at the Bayridge store Martin-for recommending it.

Easy to set up and install
I found the Linksys EA73000 Max Stream Router, AC1750 reasonably priced and easy to install and set up. I will need to purchase an extender next month to reach an area far away from my router. At present it is reaching but just want to make sure we do not drop connection.
I do like the idea of the guest set up for when friends come over and I do not have to give out my main password. I think this router works great so far.

Advanced, economical, and easy to use router.
The EA7300 Max-Stream Router is almost as good as Linksys support. For a moderately priced router, it is working exceptionally. You can set it up using the defaults and it works wonderfully with no need for any additional expertise. Juist like more expensive routers, you can place a high priority on multiple devices so that those devices will take priority over other devices. That way, if you are a gamer and do gaming on one to three devices, you will be able to allocate more bandwith to those devices. If you are doing important work; day trading etc; you can get the feel of having private access, even if other devices are using the network. Many companies that allow you to access their systems from a home office require that you have really great bandwidth and security. This router will allow all of that in addition to having the ability to limit access of certain devices at certain times. Although I am not using this feature, it seems like would give someone some fine parental controls to not allow access of internet for childrens's devices after bedttime etc.

Linksys Router
I returned this router, unopened. Unfortunately, because my old Linksys router wasn't working I got hacked before the new one was delivered. Therefore I needed a router immediately and couldn't wait until this one arrived.
However, I took the order information and went to buy the exact thing thru retail. So I've had no problems with my wi-fi since installing this new router and am very happy with the quick and easy way it installed.

Why LINKSYS is outstanding for networking.
I have always maintained that Linksys equipment has always been superior to your competitors. As a retired computer architect/engineer I do not offer this praise lightly.
I worked in the end user's environment for 32.5 years before working for two vendors for the last 20 + years and I have used your products personally in my own office lab as well as in my customer's environment. Linksys has always proven to be dependable and has become even better year after year.

Love it as far as parental controls
I bought this router to have control of my son's gaming remotely and on schedule. This router and the app deliver. Both remote on/off and schedules for each device work very well. I wish you could set the schedule per half hour vs hour but not a deal breaker. The router is fast and works better than spectrum's box.

OLD VS NEW ROUTER
First new Linksys in 18 years. Have 100mb ssrvice. Old linksys got 25 mb and new linksys gets 91mb at 2.4ghz. Also can change to 5 ghz for movies.

Purchased this as an upgrade to a 4 year old Linksys router because it couldn't produce the 100 Mbs wi-fi speed that I was paying for but this new router solved the problem and was worth doing the upgrade

Works as advertised
Old router lasted over 9 yrs, but no further firmware updates were available leaving the network at risk. Install was a snap. No issues so far. The upgrade to 5ghz has the wireless devices smokin.

Easy and Quick
Bought and then installed the router last weekend. It was easy to install and set up to include setting up the new name and password for the unit.
I am not the most tech savy guy around, but I did find the router very easy to set up. It works great. Got this to replace an older saucer shaped Linksys router we have had for about 6 yrs. The only thing I have to do now is adjust the center and right antenna so that it broadcasts maximum signal to the 1st floor living room where the new 4K TV is at. Would I advise others to get this router? heck yes.

Great for 99.99% of needs
I bought the LINKSYS EA7300 WIFI ROUTER,AC1750,MU-MIMO to replace a (Cisco) LinkSys E2500 that was too old to fix security vulnerabilities. It dropped in and worked great with minimal fuss (after answering a few questions) and has worked great since then. It's got an Ookla SpeedTest built in which is cool. My only issue is that it lacks a few configurable features my E2500 had -- 99.99% of people won't care but some people will. It does support single port forwarding, port range forwarding, port range triggering, dynamic DNS, DMZ, IPv6 port services, certain firewall features (VPN passthrough, SPI firewall, multicast filtering, NAT redirection filtering, ident filtering, anonymous req filtering), media prioritization, MAC address clone, RIP, static routing, UPnP, SIP gateway, VLANs, ping traceroute, logging, auto/manual firmware update, external storage, and external FTP access. You can even, through signing up on their website, access your network remotely, though personally I think that has associated security hazards.

Works as advertised.
I purchased this router at the recommendation of an Apple Service Center in Prescott AZ. The router that I had was interfering with the operation of my iPhone. After installing this router, there was no interference and it has been working very well.
