Easy To Install and Setup
Bought this one to replace an older Linksys Router that went out. This was easy to set up on my system and works great. It keeps all of my hookups running well. Alexa, Doorbells, Cameras, Lamps, TV's. Everything today seem to have Wi-Fi. This will support 30 items.

Having trouble with older Linksys router. Needed to reach more room in large home. This router recently purchased did the trick. great reception of firesticks in all rooms. Stuck with linksys because our old router was 15 years old and we wanted a product that would last. Really satisfied by the results..

Easy to connect
Easy to connect the new Linksys router, once I understood how my modem worked and what they were talking about when they used certain terms. The app is very helpful later in sharing the router's connection data with other devices, such as the printer, the Nest, etc.

Thrilled with MR9000
I am thrilled with my Linksys MR9000 since i made it my parent node and i connected my 3 node Velop Tri-band AC2200 system as child nodes. After setting them up properly, i connected 2 of them to my wired network. This keeps the whole system mesh network. The quad processor in MR9000 is X10 faster than the Velop alone. Router has USB 3.0 for my network storage. I like the 4 network ports on router.

Great router
A very solid, feature packed router. Easy setup, great signal coverage. Paired one on the first floor of my 3,000 sq. ft house with another MR9000 on the second floor. Love the mesh network, one SSID everywhere and devices connect to either 2.4 or 5 GHz bands automatically. Setup of the "child" device was easy using the Linksys app. Also like the built in Speed Test capability allowing you to keep an eye on your service provider's network from the app. Very happy with the purchase.

Great performance and flawless setup
My wife and I recently upgraded our home internet and equipment to accommodate recent work from home requirements. We have a base router and three Velop mesh nodes that cover our 4,000 sq. ft. home. Now we can easily work from any point in the house, as well as in our own "studios" for video conferencing. Set up and expansion was a breeze using the Linksys mobile app. Well worth the investment!

Linksys Mesh Router MR9000 2 week review
So, this router replaces a Linksys n router that I have used for years. Thought I would go modern since I have gradually added more and more devices... Used the same router logins as before so it took maybe 3 minutes to do the change and be up and running. System is certainly quicker. And the extenders work the same (wifi power) although probably don't need anymore! There was some DNS server issues but was fixed asap!

Excellent with on concern
Firstly, I have been a linksys user ever since and having upgraded to the MR 9000 has been a breeze. Especially, having the option of installing via internet and app. Nevertheless, nothing comes perfect as on my previous RE7500 I can easily configure my attached hard disk but with the current app and link even when I have connected the software i can detect it on the internal software.Why? Seeking your assistance.

Great Product for the Money
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new MR9000 Tri-Band Gigabit router is the latest from Linksys with the new mesh network. The shape is as per the current routers with multiple antenna’s. Quite impressive with the new all black casing.
The router package is very robust. It definitely will survive a drop from the shopping truck!
Setting up the MR9000 is not so easy. It requires a cell phone to register online before you can configure it for your use. I pair it with my Motorola modem and coverage can be increased by adding Linksys Velop™ Mesh Wi-Fi nodes. Your whole house can be enveloped in WiFi. And it’s really very fast.
Pleased with the coverage and speed of this router. I really recommend it to anyone wanting to upgrade to a faster and modern router.
Worth every dollar!

Oh My Router!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think anyone would be impressed by this router. Setup with the Linksys app makes the initial set up process easier, although the app kept sending me to a bluetooth setup option at various times. Once successfully navigating back to setup, the process is easy.
As for that hardware itself, I do wish the power cord was more friendly when being plugged into a power strip. One may have to plan to lose a plug or move around other plugs to allow for the rectangle power adapter.
An aspect I really like with this router, is connecting my other smart devices. The router is able to identify some products and pre-population them in the device list. Also, I do not have to switch my cellphone wifi connections between the various wifi bands to connect devices that use common wifi bands. All devices are quick to connect.
I have also noticed streaming is better with this router. My streaming devices, tablets, and mobile devices appear to react a bit faster compared to my previous routers.
I would recommend this router for anyone that is in the market for an upgrade or replacement.

Fast and great coverage!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impatiently awaiting the arrival of my Linksys Model #MR9000 Max-Stream AC3000 Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 5 Router. Unfortunately, when it arrived, I was out of town for two weeks and had to wait to set it up and see how it performed. Fortunately, there’s not much to putting it together and I was up and running in no time. In the box were the instructions, router with four antennas, two cables, one of which is the power cable and that was it. Using the Linksys app on my iPhone made the set-up fast and easy. Note that you will have to go through the entire set-up wizard until you can make any custom changes to the settings, not a problem. I let the program manage most of my settings but made a few changes to suit my needs after.
Syncing all my devices to the new router was simple, but due to the number of devices I own, that are dependent on a WIFI connection, it was a little while before everything was reconnected, no fault of the router. To give an idea what connected devices I own, here’s a quick list: 3 iPhones, iPad, Kindle Fire, HP Desktop, Apple MacBook Air, 2 smart TV’s, Play Station, Ring Doorbell, Ring Video Cam, Chromecast, Apple TV 4k, 3 outside security cameras, Sony smart blu ray DVD player, Amazon Echo, Alexa Show, 4 Echo Dots, as well as 3 more smart phones belonging to frequent family visitors. You don’t realize just how many things you have linked to the router until you have to reconnect them!
The parental controls allowed me to limit internet access for my grandchildren. I monitor their use, but it’s nice having that extra layer of protection. Once the router is up and running, you’ll notice that the performance of the router is fast and the range is great. I can be anywhere in my house, garage, backyard, or front yard and I stay connected, now that’s some great coverage.
As mentioned, the range and strength of this router is great, movies on my iPad play without buffering and the video responsiveness of my Ring doorbell is wonderful with no blackout delays. Also, no issues with my outside security cameras picking up images. And of course, the TV’s, DVD player, smart phones and other WIFI dependent devices experienced smooth, uninterrupted access.
We enjoy supplementing cable TV with our Netflix, Amazon Prime, and VUDU subscriptions, as well as with our Apple TV, all which give us various choices to pick from. Watching a movie through each service is great, no buffering, they all play smoothly. The nice thing about it was that no matter where in the house you are, if watching on an iPad, the movies continue to play without any interruptions, even if other family members were watching a different movie in another part of the house. And, gaming on the Play Station is done without any issues also.
As mentioned, I’m about two weeks into using the Linksys Model #MR9000 Max-Stream AC3000 Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 5 router, but I’m very pleased with the ease of set up and the performance of it. I’d recommend it to family and friends without hesitation. One tip, use the Linksys app to set everything up, it makes life so much more simple, plus, you can monitor your equipment on the app from anywhere.

Decent Router w/ Decent Options
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this router has actually been really good. It surpasses my WRT32X in bandwidth and switching performance, but also has a lot more configurable options, as well. Being able to use it in bridge mode is a huge benefit as it allows me to extend my coverage and utilize the cabling in my detached workshop, which was a major downfall of the WRT32X.
Integrates smoothly with Velop nodes, allowing for even more configurability and greater coverage. Using the iOS app allows for a quick and easy setup that even grandparents could figure out.
Does extremely well for gaming, as well. Handles the 1gb internet easily with no issues dropping connections at all. I would gladly use this router again.

Another Great Linksys Product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took the AC3000 out of the box, plugged call the cables in, turned the router on, opened the Linksys App on my phone. Then enter the password to enter setup, change password to the old one and Wala connected. This took about 10 minutes to complete. Then go to the Node with phone add node in App this took about 3 minutes to complete. With the AC3000 and the Node, I have great coverage in the 2 story 3000sq foot home and about 60 to 70 feet in to the back yard. This Router is easy to setup and has great performance. I have no lag or buffering streaming video content on my TV with 9 devices connected. I have been using Linksys products for over 10 years and have nothing but great performance and easy setup out of all their products. Most are obsolete before they stop working. I have never had one die yet just, replaced because old technology.

Best and Fastest router

Great Range and Simple Set up!

Well worth upgrading
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new AC3000 router is sleek and small and fits nicely on my desk.
I've been using the Linksys WRT3200ACM router and it has been working fine. I just switched out the router with the new Linksys AC3000 Tri-Band router. I had been living with 100 meg download and 40 meg upload speed which could have been a setting I was never able to find. Immediately after connecting the AC3000 router my speed jumped to 300 meg down and 50 meg up.
The Linksys app is more helpful now in the setup process since the latest software update. The previous version wouldn't allow me to add my WRT3200 because an existing router was installed and not easily removable from the app. The update now lists any routers listed at Linksys and allows me to simply delete the WRT3200. Once done, the app found the newly connected AC3000 and setup was completely seamless from that point on. Software updates to the router are now fully automatic and done at night when devices are not in use. Adding my phone, tablets and second computer were quick and easy. The app has a "Priority" feature that allows me to set my computer and phone to have priority over all devices in use. I also can set a timer to turn off "Gust" access to my grandson after 10:00 p.m. He doesn't like that feature. The router supports 25 devices and gives me control over all those devices. Great for when we have company.
One disappointment was the inability to add my Linksys Extended Range antennas I had purchased previously. They are a simple screw-on antenna but I could find no way to remove the antennas on the new AC3000. I may have missed something there. Having said that, I really haven't noticed any difference in signal strength which means antenna extenders may no longer be necessary.
Overall, this is a excellent router and well worth the money.
