Very Easy Install
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The linksys MX5 was an extremely simple install. This unit replaced a WRT3200ACM router which worked well, but wow the MX5 is awesome. I have a strong signal in every spot in my house. Absolutely no dead spots. The wifi speed is also allot faster throughout my house making my streaming experience much more enjoyable. We stream everything at my house, no cable tv, and the MX5 handles it great. With multiple laptops, Ipad, Iphones, etc. using wifi ive had no slowdown/buffering. Just a heads up, the MX5 unit is large. Very happy with the new wifi system. Great job Linksys!

Great tech support and replacement for Netgear
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently had a problem with the internet cutting in and out requiring to reboot my Netgear R7800 router several times a week. Very frustrating that it had suddenly defaulted every time to factory settings, having to go through initial setup, reset ID, passwords, etc. Obvious known issue with the hardware but since owning the R7800 more than 90 days, only free support was through Netgear Community or pay their ridiculous live support fee. After a few weeks trying to resolve gave up and so happy to have found Linksys, a company that stands behind their products! Free 24/7 support and MX has been rock solid! Only complaint are the logs are not as detailed as Netgear missing some info along with date and time stamps. Other than that Linksys was the best decision of all the others.

Works through reinforced concrete block
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had struggled to have a whole house system where the signal remained strong for 2 years. Installed this system and we have full strength signals in every room and out into the yard. This house is built with reinforced concrete bock due to seismic requirements and this system is the first one that has covered the whole property with full reception. We could not ask for more.

I’m glad I added this to my network.
The rep I spoke to said this was much stronger then my current system which is also a Linksys velope 3 node. He wasn’t kidding. I have coverage throughout my 2 floor 2600 sf home. Using this as the mother node and the others as child nodes gives me good speeds throughout my home including my yard. Highly recommend this unit.

The best!
This is absolutely perfect. he only concern is that it jumps between AC and AX. I do not know why. But the wi-fi now covers our huge flat, and thats great.

Amazing router, replacement for Airport Extreme
I started to have issues with my beloved AirPort Extreme 6th generation due interferences, some I jump to MX5300 and I’m impressed. The coverage improves a lot and the performance is improved too. It’s good to know if I need to expand my network I can add another node, but actually I’m using it standalone. In my case I forced to use only the 5Ghz network because the 2.4Ghz is too problematic. Great purchase, very happy with it!

Couldn't be happier
So happy with my router. It has enough range that it can cover what was missing with my old router. No need for adding mesh. The speed increase is also a welcome addition and knowing I have the latest version of wifi is more plus.

Connects to 5 GHz More Often
I can connect more often to the 5 GH now instead of the 2.4. The MX5300 seems to have a stronger signal that connects at the higher flow rate more easily than before.

Great Range Reliable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was currently using the Velop 2 unit whole house system so I am very familiar with the equipment as well as admin and installation features of the Linksys smart app so setup went smooth. Stand alone the MX5 performed to expectations. 13 to 15 devices (active) on the network (cameras, multiple tablets TV's etc.) had no noticeable issues. Range was somewhat impacted but I added the previous nodes and further extended the range to the outdoor areas as well. The addition of 4 Gigabit LAN ports and addition of a USB 3.0 port adds flexibility and is a much welcome addition. This unit is larger than previous units but seems to run cooler and is not a distraction to the eye. I would recommend this product based on my experience with performance and reliability.

Finally, faster and stronger wifi!
This is a great product! For years I could not get wifi in a separate small guest house here in Florida. The house and guest house are a 1958 construction with filled concrete block and lots of glass. I installed two of the Velop 5300's. I have much better and faster wifi in the main house and a good signal in the guest house with very good speeds! Not to mention great signal outside! I am so glad I made this investment! Highly recommend it!

Great Mesh Wi-Fi Router!
Though I don't qualify as a full-on IT nerd, I HAVE had a fair amount to experience dealing with my own wi-fi networks. But, even the Apple Airport Base Stations I've dealt with for years weren't always totally straight-forward to set up and maintain.
So, at the advent of us switching to Spectrum Business with a static IP and 600/40 mbps speeds, I thought I'd also try a mesh system and the Linksys Velop M5 router which also had Wi-Fi v6.
The setup process via Linksys' iPhone app couldn't have been easier. It simply displayed a series of questions to answer about my network, and branched me to the next appropriate step based on what the indicator light on the top of the Velop was displaying.
Later, extending my network with a second Velop was just as easy with the app leading me through just a few more steps.
We now enjoy very snappy performance on our LAN, as on the 'net. What a pleasure!

We call it the Mothership in our house!!
It’s an amazing product . Easy to setup and robust . Hasn’t dropped connectivity once and has improved speeds tremendously. Use it in conjunction with 5 other Trivandrum nodes I had bought over the years throughout the house as my area is large and it has enhanced speed and connectivity throughout.

MX5300 ADDITION TO AN EXISTING AC6600 NETWORK
Thrilled with the product. I have a Linksys AC6600 mesh network. I changed the main/lead node with the MX5300. The process was quite easy. The results were tremendous with much faster internet speeds throughout the mesh network.

Excellent!
Another great product from Linksys! This thing has a ton of power! I have the 1GB internet and wired ive been consistently getting over 900mb/s download and on WiFi I’ve been getting over 600mb/s download. Worth the money and glad it’s going to future proof my home for a while. The range is awesome as well! 1900 sqft home and have no issues with coverage anywhere.

I upgraded to get Wifi 6. I have a Gig at home. Best decision I have made on router replacement. Love it, Brilliant! Living in a major city, you are fighting for bandwidth in apartment buildings. No more slowness or noise!

Speed delivered to the devices
I bought the this system to use latest Wi-Fi technology supported by my devices (smartphone and computer) and I am pretty satisfied: the speed on the devices is much higher than before, I was using an Ac1900 Linksys router that was 5 years old. Regarding the coverage it's ok: it claims a coverage of 3000sqft but I live in a 1200sqft and I still have some dead spot that I will have to cover with a mesh extender that won't bring me Wi-Fi 6 but it's a good compromise.

Best router ever. I have tis in the center of a 2000 sqft home and get strong signal everywhere. It was easy to set up. I have 28 units wireless 2 are AX Wi-Fi 6 . This is a great router.
