Rated 5 out of 5 by from Linksys Wi-Fi Micro USB Adapter is EXCELLENT I was having trouble connecting my second desktop computer to my Cablevision Internet provider and it was probably software related. My Cablevision tech suggested that I get a Wi-Fi USB Adapter to connect to my EERO Wi-Fi device. The product ws purchased at P.C.Richards where the tech was very helpful. The product was easy to install and I now have both desktop computers connected to my local Wi-Fi service. It's an excellent product and I've been using it for a while now with no problems whatsoever. It's definitely warrants a 5-star rating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Difficult To Setup But Worth The Trouble I plug it in and all I got was a steady orange light. Installed the CD and Windows 10 would not let me install. Kept stating I needed to run as administrator, and I am the administrator. After about an hour trying to get the CD to run. I never could. I downloaded the Setup files off the Internet. This worked. The light turned to steady white so I uninstalled the current Wi Fi adapter and clicked on my Wi Fi, entered password and it connected. I went from 2.4 to 5G. Where I was getting around 5-6 MB I was now getting 110 MB. It was hard setting up, but it greatly sped up the Wi Fi.

On my home network, it brought my old pre-5GHz laptop, to 100Mbps speeds from 12MBps on wireless 5Ghz-N. It connects with higher strength and reliability than my other devices.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome little dude(max Stream 6100M Purchased a couple of weeks ago, wanted my laptop to connect to internet at home at 2.4 and 5.0 it would only connect at 2.4 before this little max stream adapter did it all on windows 10 that way I didn't have to speculate on what internal card I would have to change added bonus laptop is old it dies I remove max stream and can use on another device. Would highly recommend and would purchase again!!! :)

Haven't seen a noticeable speed improvement on the 5 GHz band but the connection is solid. No more disconnects that I used to get after my Windows 7 to 10 upgrade. Thank you Linksys!

But anyway i need something that can play 3 clients of eve online and teamSpeak and have Music playing in the background. It's has done it all. I have contacted customer support for Issue with 5 GHz find out my router range needed to be tuned up. I have now on 5ghz. We do have a Front tier Internet so right now can't give you speed test Data correctly but it running right 87/76. We do have 300/300. That it.
