Love this smoker!
I've had mine for 2 years and love it. It's easy to use and does a great job. I really like having the app on my phone. It makes it easy to monitor the temperature of both the smoker and the meat I'm smoking. The gravity feed for the charcoal is a great feature.

Charcoal grilling/smoking at its best
I’ve had the 1050 for approximately three years and it continues to perform at a high level. I love how easy it is to light and bring up to temperature. Easily transitions from grinding to smoking. Always happy with the flavorful results.

Love this grill
I’ve actually had this grill for over a year now and it’s held up great. Super easy to start and gets up to temp in about 5 min. Temp holds steady at whatever you set it at which is super nice for long smokes like a brisket, it’s almost a set it and forget it set up. Gets super hot too so it’s great for searing steaks. Would definitely buy again and recommend to anyone.

Excellent grill
The design of this grill is fantastic. Being able to have a charcoal feed is efficient for refill and keeps time free. The grill's ability to go to well over 600 degress F is great for I like to high heat cool steaks.
Smoking is consistent, balanced and very simple. The results are great!!!

Awesome grill
I have owned my grill for about 2 years and still love it. I use it 2 to 3 times a week. Everything from hotdogs to smoked turkey. Never let me down. Set the temp and it holds exactly that temp. Perfect for smoking, grilling and even flat top.

I have used ceramic kamado grill for over thirty years and I loved it. Time had taken its toll on the old grill so I decided to try something different. I saw the Gravity feed 1050 in an add and decided to give it a try. The versatility is what I like best. I can give a steak or chop some shop, turn it up and get a great sear. I added the rotisserie and was very pleased with the results. Butcher's cut briskets came out great as well. This is the only grill/smoker tool I need. I am able to load the hopper with bulk charcoal mixed with some blocks of hardwood for flavor and get results reminiscent to a stick smoker with the convenience of a pellet grill but with better flavor.

Incredible Grill!!!!
It has everything, temperature control, smoker, searing, griddle plate, easy to use, it has it all!
I cannot recommend this smoker/grill more. I have owned many grills through my 54 years, and this one EASILY takes the cake! You can't go wrong with this! Enjoy your meats and eggs on this thing.

Best smoker/grill ever
I have had my 800 series for a while now and being 65 I have had my share of grills and smokers. In my garage I have 3 other smokers and 2 other grills (I tailgate a lot at the University of Miami football games). This is by far the best price of outdoor cooking equipment I have ever known. It easy to use it’s easy to start and stop and keeps temps steady. I have 5 friends who have them now cause I showed them the 800 and they too say the same The Best!

Have a Weber Grill and got the Gravity 800
I had a Weber Grill and my wife convinced me to get the Gravity 800. Have not used the Weber since I got the Gravity 800. Just smoked a brisket this last weekend and came out great with the electronic temperature control.

If you want real tasting low and slow BBQ. Or if you want hot and fast grilling the gravity Masterbuilt is what you need. The taste blows away pellet smokers/grills. The Masterbuilt Gravity series makes smoking and grilling as easy as a pellet cooker with superior taste!

Bought this grill at the end of last season and have used it several times. It's very easy to use and the temp control works great! The app is a little glitchy, this would be the one thing I'd like to see improve, but other than that, I love it!

Two years later, grillin', smokin' & Pizza!
Nearing my two year anniversary of this purchase and I am generally pleased. I have added the pizza oven insert, which is fabulous - great pizza in 5 min! Some weeks, I grill meals, make pizza and smoke meats and the grill is flexible and performs well. Temperature control is typically spot on and I have recommended this to friends and family. My initial control board stopped working within 2 months, and Materbuilt provided a warranty replacement. The original cover lasted less than a year, but the replacement still looks new after 13 months. Just replaced the manifolds, between the heat and elements, they rusted to oblivion inside 18 months. Note: I store/use my gravity series year round on my patio and keep it covered, but moisture does creep in over time.

Best Grill (and Griddle) I’ve Owned
I’ve tried regular smokers (require lots of constant attention), a pellet grill (not enough smoke for smoking or direct heat for grilling, and this is the perfect combination. The gravity setup and fan allow for long smoking sessions and the fan maintains the temperature consistently. I maximize the smoke by interspresing wood chunks through the stack and with an inexpensive aftermarket ash bin stand, I add a few chunks which increase the smoke more. The added bonus is the griddle that is included. The best smash burgers ever and so easy with a bit of smokiness. YUM! I cannot recommend this Masterbuilt Gravit Grill 800 enough. The latestgeneration has also I, proved a few high heat exposed components to ensure they lasts even longer. The bluetooth controller allows me to keep tabs on it for hours without having to sit close by. I added the cover to protect it from the elements and clean the grates after each use. I’ve had mine for a couple years and it still looks and works great. PS It also works off of a small USB battery backup device in case an outlet isn’t nearby.
