Top control dishwasher with Dual Power Filtration
Skip the soaking and scrubbing with Dual Power Filtration, a dishwasher filtration system that disposes of any food in its path. Maytag dishwashers with a full stainless steel tub are tough enough to handle high heat, while Leak Detect helps identify and contain most types of leaks.

Skip soaking, scrubbing and pre-rinsing with Maytag engineering that puts an end to pre-work. Industry-exclusive Dual Power Filtration combines 100% microfiltration and a 4-blade stainless steel chopper to filter out then dispose of any food in its path.
- PowerBlast cycle
The PowerBlast cycle scours away stubborn foods like egg yolk, peanut butter and even dried-on oatmeal. High-pressure jets, increased water temperatures and hot steam work together to clear food off dishes---so all you have to do is load them in.

- Long Heated Dry option - Up the temperature3 with an internal heater to reduce excess moisture inside your dishwasher. The Long Heated Dry option gets large loads of dishes nice and dry.
- Touch controls - You're in control with a simple tap of your finger. Smooth, tap-to-activate settings give you quick and seamless access to powerful cleaning.
- Increased upper rack height - Put bulky pots and pans in their place with increased upper rack height that fits big dishes usually left for the bottom---so there's no need for a second load.

- Leak Detect - The Leak Detect system is a combination of multiple features that measure and monitor the flow of water at various points. If a problem is sensed, the unit can take action by draining the tub and alerting you when necessary.

Great hard food grinder!

I have owned a number of different dishwasher brands through the years: Bosch, Whirlpool, Kenmore, Kitchen Aid and 3 Maytags. Maytag by far is the best dishwasheraa. All brands basically clean dishes when they are new but Maytag has a hard food grinder in it saving time and effort of having to rewash dishes because rice or other food particles are still on “cleaned” dishes. Also, there is no having to dig food particles out of the bottom of the machine. Thank you for the Maytag dishwasher that does the dirty work for you.

Top control is only one great feature.

The top control feature is nice as the front of the washer is solid with no control displays. The dishwasher itself is so quiet you can't even tell its running. There is no need for rinsing the dishes as the washer is powerful enough to clean dirty roasting pans. For overall performance we are so glad we chose this machine over the other ones we looked at.

Plenty of room for everything. You can fit anything in top rack. The quick cycle really works. I almost never have to use a different cycle. I love that there is a garbage disposal of sorts built in.
