Easy to use

Went in fairly easy, works great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave is a replacement for a 2006 OTR Maytag microwave that served us well until recently. Since repair parts were no longer available, we decided to get a replacement.
Once we identified this unit as a good replacement, my biggest concern was if it would fit in the same space as the existing one - especially the vent through the wall. The hole in the wall could NOT be moved. Thankfully, Maytag had the wisdom to put the exhaust in the same spot. The mounting screws and cord hole needed to be re-drilled in the upper cabinet, but I was able to get the old holes plugged.
The microwave itself works great. My only criticism is that the power setting is not displayed with the time remaining on the display all the time. It will flash every 15-20 seconds, but I would prefer it to be always on.

The venting system also more powerful. And outside venting instructions very well written and easily rotated motor. Would have liked lighted numbers on panel, just a bit hard to read in the dark like morning coffee. I open the door first and that lights the panel enough.
