Love the solid surface cooktop...easy cleanup.

I grilled steaks on the reversible griddle, and surprised how great it came out, less hassle than having to set up a barbeque grill outdoors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this cooktop during a kitchen remodel. The bridge element including the flip griddle was an added bonus. We love the ease of coking since the elements keep a steady heat and the light to remind us if it’s still hot. A reminder about the griddle: when it heats up, the silicone strips will expand and possibly pop out of their seating. Keep an eye on them. We bought induction plates so we didn’t have to get new cookware. Love the cooktop!

Looks great in our kitchen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have only had the cooktop for two weeks but so far it has worked great, the cleaning of it hasn’t been to bad which my wife was worried about. Was so glad to get rid of the old element style cooktop that always had problems with elements making contact and not sitting level when cooking. We haven’t tried out the griddle bridge as of yet but checked out how it works so I’m sure it will work great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Maytag Electric Cooktop is on my island and is the perfect size and works great. It heats up quickly and cools slowly, so I can turn off the burner before my whatever is quite finished and it continues cooking with no fear of burning while I finish up other items for the meal. Love the griddle and the cooktop’s bridge connecting two burners for heating up the whole thing. Perfect for pancakes and French toast for the family. Everything seems to heat evenly, water boils in a reasonable amount of time, surface is easy to clean, and overall it is attractive to look at.

Great features!

I love the fact that there is a bridge between one of the front and back burners and it comes with a very good quality griddle to use when you combine them. However we have not used this feature yet but look forward to it! The price was very reasonable for a Maytag quality appliance!

Very Good Solid Product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed it with minimal difficulty, and so far so good. It heats up fast, and the double burner is a very cool feature. With the included griddle, I'm grilling steak as if I'm outback on my deck; grill marks and all. I also appreciate the rugged construction. The knobs seem very durable, unlike those of past brands. Cleanup is also fairly easy. It's a solid American made product, backed up by an impressive ten year warranty. That little extra is the peace of mind, that sold me.

Makes it easy to turn on and see what the settings are. The glass top is different finish than our old cooktop and took some learning to me able to clean the glass and make it look clean and not smudgy. Overall, very good product and happy with purchase.

Pans don’t take as long to heat up and water comes to a boil much faster than traditional stove. Got the stove top cleaner made this type of stovetop, and makes it a breeze to clean. I have only used griddle once for pancakes. Turned out great once I got the temperature right.

Good variety

The only issue I have is that the dial writing is a little hard to read for these older eyes! It could be a bit bolder. I love the griddle as it is one reason I chose this, but it does take a while to heat up and doesn't heat all the way to the edges.

It is taking me some getting used to the way the knobs function, as the are not the same, and are quite different from my previous Maytag cooktop. But I do like the way the burners heat up fast, and the 2-in-one burner front right.
