I would like to see the top grilles on hinges for easy cleaning; removable for the diswasher. Also, the gas cotrol knobs that require pushing the knob down to turn on the igniters and gas (safety feature).

Great cooktop

A great feature is the stovetop is completely sealed...& mouse proof!!
Our last stovetop...not a MayTag was not completely sealed and we had lots of
issues with mice looking for winter warmth under our stovetop.

The stainless steel surfaces are very easy to clean.The grill is cast iron and has a very solid look and feel. The sleek look goes well with the rest of the counter and other appliances in the set. Had MAYTAG for 15+ years and now replaced with this new set.

great for a serious cook
