Organized and accessible.

Big, and quiet!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this standup freezer to replace an older one we had used for more than 20 years. The delivery was as scheduled, and the delivery person did all the setup work for us. It’s roomy, and I especially enjoy the fact that it has interior lights. I look forward to may years of use.

This Freezer is the BEST
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So we bought this out of need. We recently completed a major renovation and due to our lifestyle the main refrigerator wasn’t enough. We purchased this freezer so we could easily and effectively store frozen foods and easily find what we need upon opening the fridge unlike a chest freezer. Also the brand, Maytag is synonymous with quality and longevity.

Great features and warranty

Great long lasting freezer
I bought the same Model close to 12 years ago. It has moved with us 3 times. I never had Any problem with it until now. I feel like I have gotten my money’s worth from it many times over what I paid for it. Just recently It isn’t freezing evenly on each shelf. I am now looking for a new one so I don’t have to worry about loosing all my food if it suddenly stops freezing. I will keep this one for keeping food for holidays or when company comes as an extra refrigerator as it still stays cold enough for that.

Much better than the chest freezer it replaced
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had the unit for less than a month but are very happy with it in that short time.
Wasn't sure how to level it and keep it from moving on the wheels when opening the door when empty. Instructions with ours didn't give us what we needed and unable to locate videos of leveling this particular model but was easy enough to figure out.
It only has 3 settings for the temp (cold, colder and coldest). I would've liked something on the outside or inside that displayed the actual temperature and I'm sure I could've for a lot more money. Regardless, after testing with a thermometer at each setting I felt very comfortable with temps.
The chest freezer we were replacing was rate at much less space. Even so, once we moved the contents from the small chest freezer to this 20 cu. ft. upright, it was full. There is nothing wrong with that, it's just the nature of moving from a chest to upright freezer. With the upright you're able to much more easily see and access the contents. Just something to be aware of if you're thinking of moving from a chest to upright rated at the same size.
At this point in time, we are very happy with the unit.
All-in-all, very happy with this purchase thus far.

Good so far
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this for 2 weeks and runs good. Plenty of room for a family of 2. Freezer is in our garage, it seems to run a lot more than our last freezer, but that may be due to it being louder, our last freezer made no noise, this one is loud enough so you know it's running, I don't think I would like it in the house due to the running noise, it's not that loud, but would be annoying enough if it was inside.
