The stove-top is GREAT-Customer Svc is NOT

We only wish that the GRIDDLE was in the same box.
Getting ahold of anyone on the Customer Service line too 45 minutes on hold.
I was suppose to get the Griddle this week but instead all I've received is another hole to jump through

Superior fit, finish and accessories.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased as part of a kitchen remodel, replacing a similar style. We love the layout of the burners on this cooktop versus the old one. The fit and finish are top notch. The griddle this cooktop comes with is such a welcomed addition - so far, we've only had Reuben sandwiches but the heat was evenly distributed. Anxious to see what all we will cook on each side of the griddle.

First experience with an electric cooktop, ie. sto
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Though this is my first experience with an electric cooktop, ie. stove, I am very pleased with my experiences. I am specially pleased with the grill and griddle combination. It has functioned most adequately in cooking pancacakes on the griddle and various meatrs on the grill.
I had some doubts as to the cleaning procedures but soapy sponge with water and a clean cloth or paper towel are usually sufficient. However any debree stuck on the cooking surface can be readily removed with a single bladed scraper knife.

No surprises! It’s a Maytag.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This glass top unit is everything I expected and more. So many burner options and the bridge/grill is tremendous. This unit reeks with quality and the price was amazing. I’m 82y/o and have been a Maytag customer since our first wringer washer.

Easy install as replacement

Beautiful cooktop!

great cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago to replace the one I had. It has alot of new features that were not on the old maytag. I like the large burner and the grilling burners. Great for making pancakes and eggs. Also good for grilling meat. I would reccoment a mounted hood to go with the grilling.

Love the features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this cooktop. Past experience with glass cooktops was that it was difficult to manage cooking temperatures. This cooktop cools quickly which makes cooking more successful. And the reversible griddle/grill is awesome.

Glass replacement
We moved in a house and have almost the same model; not sure of the model number and year; but the house is 5 years old; I want to know if I can get a new glass top; my son dropped something on it and cracked it all the way across; previous owners did not leave the book; how do I find the model number; I love my stove top!! :(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this installed for about a month. It’s easy to use and heats up quick. The glass top cleaner Maytag sells works well to keep it clean. The only thing I am not satisfied with is the griddle that comes with it. The rubber pads that keep the glass top from getting scratched came unglued immediately so I have not been able to use the griddle.

I paid for this in January 2025,the griddle was out of stock. It has been on back order every since. I want what I paid for. I will do a proper review when Maytag follows through.

Waiting on promised griddle

I have a Maytag washer and I am very pleased with my product. Maybe I will feel better when my promised griddle comes in. I will be looking forward to my promised griddle.

False advertising--griddle is NOT included
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this cooktop as part of a remodel for a home we are moving into in a few months. Why do you advertise the attributes of a griddle when it doesn't come with the cooktop? There was paperwork in the box stating that when we registered the cooktop, the griddle would be sent out. Two weeks ago, we registered the product and received a message stating "Registration confirmed. We'll send you a confirmation email shortly." We have received nothing, except a request to review the product. Will revise if/when griddle is received.

Hot surface indicator failure
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this cooktop about 5 weeks and the hat surface indicator lamp failed within the first five minutes of use. I got a repairman out the first week to look at it and he said that they would need to order parts and schedule another time when they receive the part. Two appointments later were canceled due to damaged parts and now waiting for another part . I have lost 3 days due to scheduling and it still isn’t fixed. I’m not happy with that. Otherwise the cooktop looks and works like you would expect.
