Like the baskets they are very handy.

Liking a Lot So Far
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased to replace a 7 year old (other brand) upright freezer with a bad compressor. I was hoping to replace with another upright with manual defrost but they are scarce. However, so far, so good and I'm even liking the ability to see more items in the chest freezer. The two sliding baskets along with the side shelf really help organize the food. Took a day to fully cool but now stays a chilly -10 and is working perfectly in the garage.

It’s huge

I love this freezer

Quality product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought 16 cu chest freezer 2/28/25. Runs fine and am very pleased with it. Found it that it was made in Italy?
I thought Maytag’s were made in USA.
Only negative is that when unwrapping freezer I noticed the drain plug cover was broken. It is made of cheap plastic. And still waiting for a new one from store I bought it from.

We Are Maytag People

So, when it came to choosing a new freezer, Maytag was a no-brainer. Even if it was a bit smaller than we would have wanted, the options and the build won us over. We will probably buy a second one next year!

Works great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this freezer through inside pass. Delivered right on time. It’s surprisingly light weight. Mi wife and I were able to lift it up to place in our storage room. It got down to temperature quickly and so far is working great. I do wish it had come with another basket or even two. Otherwise, we love it.

well constructed with great lighting
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Has been in place for a couple of months and works great.. The only thing that is not too handy is if you get in the freezer and then try to re-open it. It has a strong suction on it that you can't pull open. It is a good sign that it has a great seal, so you have to wait a couple of min. before you can get it open.

We really like the extra insulation. This would be a five star review but the freezer only has two baskets.
Chest freezers really need 4 baskets.

Nice Freezer

I bought this particularly because it received great reviews and I was looking for baskets that are recessed instead of sitting right on top. The only problem I have with this freezer (and many others) is that the bottom is not sectioned off nor does it have a second row of baskets. Whose idea was this?

Stilling waiting on results.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Too early to tell, have owned it for about 10-days. It freezes as needed, but never shuts off. Hope that is the way it is with no high electric bill. It is to shut off, then there is a problem.
