Whisper Quiet
I bought this to replace an AC in my sons bedroom. After my husband installed it (which was very easy to do and he said it felt extremely secure in the window) I walked in and the only way I knew it was running was by the large number display on the front. The room is now quiet and cold - even during those super hot days on the third floor of a room that gets direct afternoon son. Wish I could replace with this brand all over the house!

Quiet!
It's nice and quiet. However, the window and screen was squeezed tightly in the a/c groove, so I'll have to have my husband help me raise the window for cleaning.

good AC
U-shaped is definitely quieter. blows cold air. hard to complain. more power would be nice but it seems most window units max out at 8k btu

Worth the money
Really happy with this purchase. The AC runs very quietly and cools a ~400 sqft apartment at 72 degrees. Electric bill is comparable to previous standard model AC.

Midea window air conditioner
I think is great,my husband and I we got it for his room,is quiet,it takes a little time to cool,but the design of the air conditioner is great,it comes with the bracket for the window,can be turn on with wi-fi,I find that very convenient

Excellant AC
It helps to review utube videos on installation but it is easy to install. It works well in auto mode. The display can be turn off with the remote.

Excellent unit, just as quiet as I expected, I noticed it was REFURBISHED but sold as NEW, (not happy about that), works perfectly and cools down the house

Don't knock it, split ac is great.
It's so nice to have an ac that's quiet where you don't have to shout or raise the tv volume. I love the wifi feature, allows me to start it before I get home. Installation was straightforward. Split design is great, you just have to install it properly. I replaced the drain plugs with the included kit. Since this allows me to open the window, I was able to feel the water dripping out of the new drain plug so I have it installed properly. PC Richards had plenty of these ac's in stock, I was in and out quick.

Great features and design
I feel like a made a right choice buying this AC. It is quiet, it cools down room really fast and I like the esthetic and features values.
I’m also very satisfied with P.C.Richard and Son services. They provided updates and notifications with precise time of delivery and instructions. The item was new in box no damages.

One window unit cools my entire apartment (800 sq feet). And it runs almost completely silent, sometimes I forget it's even on. Split design freed up a lot of window space. 10/10 recommend.

Insects in a be air conditioner drain.
It has not even been a month and I had to contact the person that installed. I live across the street from a park and somehow insects block the drainage. Unfortunately, It looks like it will be an ongoing problem. That is a fault of the designer and maker. Not happy. I have not installed the 2nd air conditioner and I do hope I don’t have the same problem

Cools albeit loudly
The unit is good at cooling the room down but every now and again it makes an obnoxious noise that’s loud enough to wake you up. The unit is installed perfectly level and the noise isn’t constant. But I wouldn’t buy again.
