Excellent machine, a little learning curve.
This is a very professional machine, and it stands up to its reputation. I had to take some time to learn the operation, but it paid off. I found it easier to start out by using the Phone app and that helped me understand it much better before I started using the knobs.

The only brand I’ll ever buy now!
I’ll tell you what. I’m so glad I sprung for the more expensive Miele washer & dryer features. I LOVE that I get a text message when the washer & dryer are done. I can fold things immediately. I can see how much detergent is left in the Twin Dos automatic dosing bottles that plug into the bottom of the machine & automatically dispense the right amount based on which was program you select. I love that I can adjust the soil level, or use detergent “caps” instead for special things like silks, wool, down, darks, etc or a stain booster cap. The white cycle gets my son’s chef jackets WHITE without ruining the green embroidery. Love that you can run a cleaning cycle that puts the dog hair into an easy yo clean filter on the front, & balls up any that find their way into the door gasket, which never gets moldy. And paired with the dryer? Love that I can add scent “flacons” or not. No need for fabric softener unless it’s something really static charged in winter. Love that I can steam the wrinkles out. And especially love that it is VENTLESS! No more scary lint filled pipe, blasting moist air & lint into the basement! And the 2 filters catch the finest dust/dog hair. Both can go inside a cabinet (& the dryer will operate better this way) & can also stack. Yep, I’m a Miele devotee now! It’s not for everyone-I prefer smaller machines where I can do laundry regularly rather than a huge pile. Things definitely get cleaner in Miele machines & when any machine is not loaded full, & they are very gentle on even tissue tees. Plus it uses less soap, water & energy. Very quiet also, & fast spin speeds do a great job spinning out all the water. Do I sound like I should work for them? I don’t, but Mama needs a new Miele vacuum (my current Dog & Cat C1 is 20 years old & still going!) They should send me one to use & review! PC Richard’s was great also. I had asked a question that was immediately answered from a salesperson in NJ, & I ended up buying both machines from him completely through text/online buying while they were on sale, even though I live in CT, because they are shipped from a warehouse in NY anyway. Will definitely buy from them again!

Miele WXI860 WCS Washer
This is a fantastic washer - efficient, quiet, and gets our clothes incredibly clean. The small footprint and fact that it fits under a standard countertop was also important for us, and has enabled to redesign our laundry area in a way that makes so much more of the space.
