is this considered universal charger for all cell phones... or only specific brands.... information should be posted.. so customers have info ....

This unit has the ability to charge any style phone via its high output USB port. You would still need to provide the specific cable for your phone. That’s how the unit can charge 2 phones simultaneously. The main reason you would look for this type of charger is to take advantage of its wireless charging capabilities. You must have a phone capable of this feature to use. The wireless feature is called “Qi” pronounced “Chee”. This feature is incorporated into the latest Samsung, Apple smartphones.
