Nest Yale lock
Great lock. I have nest cameras and thermostats. I love the products. Also great having everything in one app. This lock is a great addition to the line up at my house. Kids were constantly losing keys constantly leaving the door unlocked. I can check the status of the door lock from anywhere, I can even set it to automatically lock after a certain amount of time after it is unlocked. I can give the kids the code to open it or set them up in the nest app so they can push a button in the app to unlock the door. Love this product… now they need a garage door product!!!! Easy install if your door is set up correctly. My door was not cut clean for original locks so It took me a few minutes more to complete installation, otherwise it would have been done in 20 minutes.

Works as expected
Everything seems to be working fine. I had a problem with my previous lock from another brand where the setting sun would heat up the touchpad and cause malfunctions. So far the Nest Yale seems to be doing well. I guess I wont really be able to compare apples to apples until this unit makes it through a summer. The Nest app is also great. I needed the ability to manage pass codes remotely and the Nest app does this very well.

So far this has been a great purchase. Only 1 issue so far said it couldn't lock but yet bolt moved very free. Think it was just a electronic issue more then anything else. Open closed the bolt a few times and was back to working great hasn't happened since. Over all I think it's a great product

I have 2. The locks (door gate) work perfectly
The locks work great. I can lock or unlock the door and gate with the key pads or remotely through by Google Home app. I like being able to give friends the code. I haven't used a physical key since I got the smart locks, but I do have an old-school key hidden away just in case. I don't expect to have to use it anymore, but I'm a plan B person.My neighbor's dog is my dog's bestie, and he has the same lock. I can run and take the friend on our run. So much better than a key under a fake rock. =)

I've tried many different brands and this one seems to have the best of all the features. Solid design. It's an easy install. Wish Google would stop being bipolar with Nest and Google products but there is always room for improvement...

Eloquent Looks with Exceptional Functionality
First of all, my house is set up for Google Home and the Nest products link with Google to give me control of my electronics. Set up was very straight forward, both mechanically and online. Instructions were very clear and I was able to get the lock installed and set up in my Nest account in about 20 minutes. After setting up in my Nest account, I linked to Google Home so can use either APP to control the lock. Family members have their own code so we can track who/when is locking/unlocking the door. The lock comes with a Google Connect that plugs in an outlet between the lock and your router for Wi-Fi connectivity. Very pleased with the lock and its functionality.

Great Lock, Needs an Open Door Sensor
Great Lock, love the clean look and ease of use. However, I wish it had a sensor the knew when the door was opened so that it doesn't autolock and then I hit the deadbolt on my trim, other than that, it's a great Lock and love it's functionality and ease of use with Google Home, replaced my Simplisafe lock with the Nest Yale and very pleased with my decision.

Hello lock, meet Nest
I absolutely love this, I do not regret buying this over the other brands/companies/competitors. Easy to install, easy to maintain, and easy to use. I love adding this to my google home and being able to lock and unlock the door, providing codes for guests, and setting restrictions on times and days of when these codes are valid for and when they will expire. I highly recommend it. Mine came with the WiFi point, even though I already had a nest account with my smart thermostat linked to it. I have all my google gadgets on my google home and I LOVE TO SAY, “HEY GOOGLE, ‘Unlock the front door’”, even though I have it set for it to auto lock.

I can go for a run without my keys
Want to go for a run without taking your keys with you? Problem solved. Forgot you had a family member stopping by and you're at the grocery store? Problem solved. Forgot to leave a spare key for the person housesitting while you're on vacation? Problem solved.The product is relatively simple to install (given the general, standard process for replacing deadbolts) and comes with all the necessary pieces of the puzzle. Haven't had any problems.

Even better than I expected
Love this lock. I have 4 boys that are constantly forgetting to lock the door. Not only does this do away with doors not getting locked, but now the lock it just cus they enjoy using it. Its the perfect blend of form and function. Install was easy as could be with all the provided resources. Thinking about getting another for the back door. Highly recommend this lock
