Best modem to date. Eliminates rental fees from local provider. There is no need for wifi extender because built in router sends singal through whole home. Also, great parental controls on app.

Superior Range
Our old router struggled to provide WiFi to a video baby monitor on the other side of the house. The coverage and quality is perfect after setting up our new CAX80. Would recommend to a friend.

Awesome router
My internet was not able to keep up with the demand of multiple gaming devices, streaming and working from home, so we upgraded our internet to 2 GB and as a result had to upgrade our router. My office is above the garage, so we chose this for its range and to future proof our internet for when we inevitably have even more devices online. This router is so powerful we were able to stop using all 5 of our wifi extender, and the security features are also great. I like that I can see all devices connected to my internet and can block devices accordingly. Its quite futuristic looking, and very easy set up. Its a bit pricey, but worth it in my mind to have a router that will be able to handle 4 GB if/when we need to upgrade our internet yet again and to be able to use the internet around our entire home and garage without any extenders. Very happy with this purchase!

A Better Connection
I just bought a new Sony Bravia 8 II OLED TV along with the new CAX80 and it's giving better Wi-Fi than my older Nighthawk. My sons have said that the connection is better and their gaming is not lagging. I'm happy with the performance.

Excellent device and service
The old modem provided by our ISP could not handle the number of devices we use. A friend recommended Netgear and I chose the Nighthawk because it fit for what we needed. Installation was relatively easy and it has performed above our expectations. This is an excellent product!

I wanted to cut down on clutter, so this modem/ router combo appealed to me. My experience has been overall good — Wi-Fi is strong, stable, and fast throughout my house. And it’s definitely a space saver! Wound recommended

Done Well for Many Years
The nighthawk is something my dad set up years ago before he passed away. My mom isn’t technically adept and relies on her kids to help her with things of this nature since my dad died. The little to no help I’ve needed to give with the nighthawk in all these years is a testament to how reliable it is.

The Netgear EAX80 extender is excellent wifi extender and is a great fit to my Netgear RAXE500 wifi 6E router! Works great and easy to monitor in the Nighthawk system. Should work great with any Router in the Nighthawk system and maybe others too.

Just What I Needed
The Nighthawk CAX80/AX6000 is a perfect fit for my 2400 square foot home. The performance has been very good and more importantly, very stable. We only use about 12 devices (laptops, phones, cameras and other smart devices). We increased our internet plan, so we needed an upgrade. The Nighthawk CAX80 allowed us to maximize our gigabit performance. Installation and setup was very simple with the ISP provider and the setup was simplified with the Nighthawk app. There are still a number of options that we could implement if needed. I would recommend this modem/router comber for medium size homes.
