Once registering the device with my provider set-up and installation was easy. App on phone is comprehensive, informative, and convenient. Speeds are insane! Netgear Armor for network and devices are a must have!

Fast, Reliable, Easy Setup
I’ve been using the NETGEAR Nighthawk CAX80 for a little while now, and I’m genuinely impressed with how well it performs. Setup took only a few minutes — just plug it in, activate with my ISP, and WiFi was up and running.
The speed and coverage are the biggest highlights. I get strong WiFi in every room, even in areas where my old router struggled. Streaming, video calls, and gaming are all smooth with no noticeable lag. It handles multiple devices at once without slowing down.
I also appreciate that it combines a modem and WiFi 6 router into one device — less clutter and fewer cables. So far, the connection has been stable and consistent. Overall, it’s a great upgrade and has made my home internet much faster and more reliable.

Personal experience
I was trying to get a router that could handle my Eufy 12 cameras system and other devices: smartphones tables, smart tv, console, computers etc. Yes We are very geek family of 3… it was very difficult to get a router that can manage the bandwidth of those devices without getting bottleneck or constantly disconnections … until I manage to get the Netgear Night Hawk!! after I added to my network everything start working as intended, no more bottlenecks nor disconnections…. Very happy with this device. Highly recommended.

Great modem, easy setup. I did a pretty thorough search and this model seems to be at the top. So far, it’s been great. I use it as a modem only(bridge mode) in conjunction with my Google Nest mesh system.

Great long-distance wifi signal
I have this set up on the main level of my 5 bdrm, 3 level home and have plenty of signal strength anywhere in the house as well as out by my shop 300' from the house. Am very impressed!

Nighthawk CAX80
Love my Netgear Nighthawk. This is the second combo unit (modem/router) that I’ve had, and they last! The only reason I upgraded is because my old one wouldn’t support the faster network speeds. I also, with my old modem/router, had to get a Nighthawk Extender because I have a large house (5500sqft). With this new Nighthawk CAX80, it completely covers my whole house! I’m very happy!

CAX80 Modem Router
I replaced my EOL Nighthawk AC-1900 with this model. It also comes with Armor, which is adding another layer of security. Armor is blocking additional garbage from getting through. BTW, my 1.2 GB Xfinity speed is actual thanks to this device!
