Better than paying every month to Xfinity instead you can always prefer to buy the device and keep the connection long term. It is very easy to setup the system. You get an option to setup the wifi password for both 2.4 GHZ and 5 GHZ settings. You can keep the SSID same and password so that you need not setup the wifi on each device. Super easy setup on Xfinity app too to register the device once you purchase it. No dropping of the network. Seamless use of the internet.

The set-up was fairly easy, I did call support for help and they were quickly able to help me. The Netgear App. was a real help as well. It was a tough decision to make with all the options out there. I am glad I went with Netgear!

My husband and I are hard-core gamers, so it's frustrating when our internet can't keep up with our game play, resulting in crashes, kicks and sometimes the lag is so intense we quit playing the game that's affected all together. We've been playing a game we haven't been able to play since 2020, I love this thing!

Just follow the instructions to activate and set up the modem and go. If it took more than 20 minutes, I’d be surprised. So far the modem has been very stable and the Wi-Fi covers my entire house without and extenders. The speed has been pretty good. I’ve been able to stream 4K and ultra hd content with no problems. Definitely worth the money.
