Wow! What a difference
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently purchased the Nighthawk router, replacing a very old NETGEAR router which finally gave out. We hooked up all our devices and security cameras and haven’t had one issue with dropping or slow reaction. Glad we chose it.

Recent Xfinity gig speed upgrade in my area forced me to upgrade my cable modem and router. Picked Netgear equipment for both. Easy Setup

Very reliable router
Recent purchase but so far very pleased with the performance of this router. I especially like the slim case. It doesn’t take up a lot of room on my desk as my old one did. I have always used NETGEAR products for my router. A very reliable product and a fair price.

Impressive!
I have the Netgear router hooked up to my WiFi through lan connection. It’s made my WiFi the fastest I’ve seen it especially when I game. 20/10, easy set-up, great Nighthawk app that makes it even easier. The tests I ran, all the gaming I’ve done with it, and all the details you can ask for from a company. Great job

Great overall Router

Coming from a different brand after many years probably doesn't help though. Making certain changes to the router requires you to get on your web browser to make changes which makes it not as user friendly for some.

Netgear Nighthawk RS 100
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really happy with my NETGEAR Nighthawk RS100. Once I got it set up, it’s been fast, reliable, and has kept all of my devices connected without any issues. Streaming, browsing, and everyday use have all been smooth, and the Wi-Fi coverage has been great throughout my home.
I also like that it has a clean, modern design and doesn’t take up much space. Overall, it’s been a great upgrade, and I’m glad I made the switch. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable Wi-Fi 7 router.

Easy peasy!!
I had to replace my ten-year-old Netgear router because security patches were no longer available. After much research, I settled on the Netgear Nighthawk RS100. Instead of a horizontal unit with little rabbit ears, this sleek vertical beauty is one solid tower of engineering. The speed is fantastic, and installation was a breeze with Netgear's Nighthawk app running on my iPhone.
Installation Tips:
1) Turn off cellular data if you use Nighthawk for setup on an iPhone so the phone and the router are forced to search for each other like lost lovers in a monsoon; and
2) consider using your same network name and password if you're replacing a unit, allowing all of your subscriptions and devices to recognize the new router without drama.
SO SIMPLE! Worked like a charm, and I even got a minor speed boost.

Great router, sleek and easy to configure.
It is much better to configure directly into the web UI rather than the app, since you can drill down into more settings than the app, of course you need to know what you are doing, because if not, it will be difficult.
it has been running for about 10 days, doing what we needed to do: balance the network traffic, since we do not have much of high speeds in this block

Top notch router and functionality
My home network needed an upgrade to Wi-Fi 7. With 4 people relying on Internet access for work video conferences, gaming and streaming, my older router was at its limit. A number of devices in the house are wired (two offices and the family room, and basement TV's), so the wireless connection is hosting laptops, phones, tablets, gaming and bedroom TV's. Happy to say all are working exceptionally well - no buffering or delays. The app is nice too, just wish they'd make it easer for people with experience to bypass the elongated app setup process. The only down side to this router's operation (and most home routers for that matter) is it only has 4 Ethernet ports so I have a managed switch next to it to tie in my hardwired connections.

Setup was straightforward using the Nighthawk app. Anything that didn't go right resulted in guidance to get things back on track and installation took about 20 minutes as the app said it would. Very useful!

Purchased replacement Nighthawk router - Nighthawk WiFi 7 Router RS300, 9.3 Gbps
Purchased this Nighthawk router to replace the one I purchased in 2019, which reached its "end of life" and was no longer receiving any security updates. Was fairly easy to install with the phone app. The only hiccup was that my old network and new network had the same name and so I actually had to finish the install using the desktop version on the NETGEAR website. It came with a free wall mount kit when I included a certain keyword on the checkout page, but it turns out I didn't need it since my Ethernet cables were too short and I was simply swapping out my old router for this new one, and I was using all 4 Ethernet cable plug-ins. I do like that this router has a vertical orientation rather than a horizontal one like my old router since it now takes up less space on my media closet shelf than my old router did.

A great router for home use
I got this router with my daughter's recommendation as they like their router. The app has a lot of useful tools to manage the router and get stats. The router provides great coverage in our house with is two level with several devices simultaneously connected.
