Excellent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this router to replace an old Lynksys router. It has performed beautifully and was easy to set up with mobile app. It even lets you keep the name of your old network. It is much faster than my old router and have had no buffering issues at all on my streaming devices.

Quick and relatively easy to set up
Replaced my prior Nighthawk router due to end of service notice. I had that router for several years so it was time to upgrade. It was relatively easy to set up using the app on my phone. I had a slight problem with the router connecting to the internet but after several tries and following the instructions, it finally connected and I was able to have everything connected and running quickly. So far it is running very smoothly with no problems.

SPEED RS700
Easy set up, good design for easy placement. Don't have wifi 7 devices, but definitely have an increase in speed with my devices. Distance is better to reach cameras in the yard.

Good Product
This is the 3rd Netgear product I have purchased and I just love Netgear. I did have some issues getting it set up but that was me I do not understand all the new technology so I called Netgear and the tech that I was transferred to was great he explained everything to me in language that I understood because I told him right off I am not a tech person, just to old to learn all this stuff. He was kind and caring and we got it set up and it is working great.

So Far, So Good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to set up with the app. I also went into the router settings on my browser to tweak them. Getting great speeds in my home without any issues. My old Netgear Nighthawk was purchased used in 2021 and worked well. I only upgraded for current tech.

An Excellent Investment
We picked up this router to replace the ISP sourced router thinking it would solve the issue with out internet. It did not, BUT it's an excellent piece of hardware. I love that you have full control over what goes through the router. A very good investment so far

Easy set-up
Super easy set-up and coverage is great for my 1800 sf home. A bit faster than my previous Netgear router. I like the security checks when you add new devices. Getting all devices switched over to the new network took a while but had nothing to do with Netgear.

Easy set-up
Switching to this router was very easy. The app walked me through what to do and in minutes I was ready to go. It even does a security scan of every connected device. Signal strength and speed are very good The biggest job was getting all devices switched to the new network.

Netgear products are exceptional!
I have only installed my Nighthawk WiFi Router 7 RS 100, 3.6 Gbps for one week, however I really like the router very much! I had my original Nighthawk WiFi router for eight years and I never had a problem with that router!

Easy to use and config
The device is easy to use and set up; you simply need to download the Netgear Nighthawk app, and you can handle the entire configuration through it. The Access Point option is very convenient for extending networks.

HomeKit friendly
Last router kept removing accessories from my Home app about twice a week and made it very difficult to reconnect. So far Nighthawk seems quite HomeKit friendly with remarkably easy accessory adds and no disconnect yet. Had it about a month now.

Difficult installation, but worth the trouble
The installation process was challenging and frustrating. I followed the installation directions, but initially Netgear could not "find" the router. After three hours of frustration, I reinstalled the old router, which worked fine with the new modem. The next day, I started again. This time, Netgear "found" the router, everything looked good, but my devices were not connected. I called Xfinity, but that resulted in the circle of death. I'm not sure what finally worked, but Netgear and Xfinity seemed to do what they were supposed to do, and I was able to access my devices. Last note: Changing the network name and password was not easy. Logging into the router raised red flags on Firefox. I used my Android phone to access the router, and dealt with the teeny font in order to change the password and network name. No instructions, I took a shot and it paid off. I am not a tech person, I am a person who prefers not to call for tech help. I do believe the process could have been easier, or instructions more explicit. That being said, I am very happy with the router, it works well in our 3500 + square foot home, where we stream shows on TV and play games on our PCs.
