A serious upgrade

Better than I thought!
It was very easy to setup and I was surprised at how much faster it was than my previous router which was also a netgear. The wifi distance also increased which was a big surprise and very welcomed.

Amazing setup
I am a retired and obsolete tech semi-engineer, so wasn't excited when I realized that I must replace my router. I could think of nothing but a black hole and hours installing, not to mention the daunting problems expected along the way. So I did have a small problem at the first and contacted Netgear via phone, as the instructions implored. The next prox hour I was on a glide path, following educated and exact instructions! Nothing but excellent assistance from my Netgear contact. Finished at the end and no problems so far in the two days since then. Have reset my other wi-fi devices without a problem. I am incredibly thankful to Netgear for their help, hence this very positive review. Needless to say, the Nighthawk router is now working flawlessly.

Easy setup, instant upgrade
Super easy to set up, the app walks you through everything. My old router was dropping constantly, and this fixed it immediately. Strong signal throughout the house and even outside. Solid upgrade and worth it.

Easy setup.
Very easy to setup. It helped that I was replacing an older Netgear router. I love the 10GB port which will allow me to add a 10GB switch in the near future when I upgrade an access point to Wifi 7.

Perfect

Easy setup & excellent coverage
I live in an 1800sqft quad level house. I placed my RS300 into a closet on the 2nd level. It provides excellent WIFI signal throughout the main house. I only need an extension to reach the outside of the attached garage. It was easy to set up using the app from my phone. The additional NetGear Armor protection has already protected my network from several attacks.

Replacing existing router
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replacing existing 8 year old router, the signs were there with dropping signals and loose connection. Decided to replace with same brand, was very easy to set up and didn't have to add a new APP to my phone. Works well on a mid size single level home with multiple devices. I'm a returning customer to NETGEAR, if I can get 6-8 years out of this one, I'll be happy.

Very easy setup
I tried two other routers ( other brands) with no success. When I received the nighthawk, I was able to install it in less than 15 minutes, it would have been faster if my modem restarted faster. Great product.

Great Product
I love the security with this router. Easy setup and very good reach. I have a one story home, 4400 sf, so I use extenders on three sides. It hooked up to them without any problems. So happy!
