New Nighthawk router

State of the art
The router is outstanding. Extremely easy install using the Netgear app. The unit is fast, uploads are fast and downloads are extreme. Great performance on streaming. This unit is worth every penny you will pay for it, this is a "must" have router. Get it!

Was using a competitors mesh system with backhauling with several nodes. RS700s was easy to install. The second one I placed on the second floorof the house on the opposing side as an AP. Needed some help setting that one up. Tech took sometime to get me through it but mission accomplished. Wha tI noticed. No more or rarely buffering on my apple tv's and my bose sub stopped breaking up (nonwired mode). Even for a few days when I just had the first one set up, I was impressed at the signal strength. So far I am impressed. Whish the app had some of the features that the lynksys app had but by no means a deal breaker. Expensive yes, but well worth it to have stable internet.

Very good coverage and easy to set up.
The WiFi router was easy to set up and is providing excellent connectivity in the entire house (two story colonial). We have not encountered any bandwidth issues even with 13 devices operating concurrently.

Updates to keep secure
My old nighthawk router serves me flawlessly for more years than I can remember - but reached EOL. It was time to replace as I require latest in security.
Build quality on this new model appear good- I enjoy the simple shape- and that it takes less space- and install was easy.
I hope it lasts as long as the old one!

After receiving the router, set-up was easy using the Nighthawk app. The broadcast range is an improvement our previous NetGear router. The 6GHz band is very fast for our WiFi 7 devices. I am pleased with the purchase.

Nighthawk WiFi 7 RS500 Router
I just setup the Nighthawk WiFi 7 RS500 Router replacing my older R7960P - Nighthawk X6S AC3600 Tri-Band WiFi Router after being notified that firmware service updates for it had ended. My older router was working just fine but I replaced it so I can maintain the latest firmware updates.
The Nighthawk App setup program walked me through the process, and made it very easy to setup the new router. Can't say anything about the performance and longevity just yet as I just set it up, but based upon my older router, I am hopeful it will provide the same level of service I enjoyed with the old router.
