Great Earbuds

They stay secure when I go for a run as well. The sound is good, especially considering they are not for noise cancelling. Definitely glad I purchased them!

Comfortable and great features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my Bose Ultra Open Earbuds for more than six months, and they’ve been great. They’re comfortable enough to wear all day, and the sound quality is really good.
They also work really well for calls on my laptop while at the office or on the go. What I like most is that they let me listen without shutting everything else out. Because they’re open and not noise-canceling, I can keep them on while I’m working and still hear what’s happening around me.

Love my Bose Ultra Open Earbuds!!

First off, the comfort is unmatched. The open-ear design is incredibly lightweight and doesn’t create that “plugged up” feeling you get with traditional earbuds. I can wear these for hours without any fatigue, whether I’m working, walking, or just relaxing.
What really stands out is how they balance sound quality with awareness. The audio is crisp, clear, and surprisingly full for an open design, but I can still hear what’s going on around me. That makes them perfect for staying connected to my environment without sacrificing a great listening experience.
The fit is also secure and well thought out. They stay in place during movement without needing constant adjustment, and the build quality feels premium—exactly what you’d expect from Bose.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These headphones are FANTASTIC! The sound quality is amazing and they are extremely comfortable. I often wear these for many hours at a time and they’re so comfortable that I sometimes forget I’m wearing them. In-ear headphones would hurt my ears if I wore them too long so these have been a wonderful find. Also, they’re incredibly secure — I have worn them on 10+ miles runs and strength workouts and have never felt like they were moving around or were going to fall out. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these earbuds after an older pair of Bose earbuds that I used to work out in malfunctioned. These are a great upgrade. The ability to hear what is going on around me while working out, with good sound production, is fantastic. Also, the ability to choose between sound modes is a great feature. I have had issues with other earbuds that are "one size fits all" which means for me that they fell out of my ear. Even with several sizes of wings being included. By design these buds fit secure on any size ear and so lightweight that I hardly notice that I have them on.

Great for music and social interaction together

Loving my earbuds

Perfect for outdoor walkers wanting great audio

I bought mine for several reasons: First because I trusted the audio would be excellent since that is what Bose is known for. Second, I find traditional earbuds painful, so having an earbud that fits snug around the back of my ear was perfect. The first time I saw these beauties, I made plans to buy them. Finally, being a pedestrian in Phoenix is risky, so being able to hear outdoor sounds while walking makes my daily treks much safer.

I got mine new and they’re great, but my boyfriend got the refurbished ones and they’re awful. Static noise on left bud, battery percentages are always funky and die quickly specially during phone calls. Buy new if you can, the refurbished is not worth it

perfect balance - comfort & real world awareness
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds have quickly become my go-to for everyday life. The fit is so light and comfortable that I honestly forget I’m wearing them, even during long runs or running errands nonstop.
As a veterinary nurse who’s constantly on my feet, and someone who spends a lot of time walking dogs and staying active - I really appreciate being able to hear my music clearly while still staying aware of my surroundings. Whether I’m out on a walk, riding my bike, or moving through a full day, I never feel disconnected from what’s around me, which is incredibly important to me. Being able to stay safe and aware while still enjoying the soundtrack of my day feels like such a luxury.
Another huge plus is how private the listening experience is. I can take calls without worrying about anyone around me hearing my conversations, which makes them even more practical for everyday use.
Also… the Midnight Violet color? I’m obsessed. It’s sleek, a little bold, and just really fun to wear.
These earbuds strike the perfect balance between comfort, sound quality, and real-world awareness; and that’s exactly what I need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Ultra Open Earbuds as a Christmas gift for myself. The set up was absurdly easy. The online product instructions are excellent. The buds are extremely comfortable, are secure while I'm walking and continually surprise with features that I did not know existed. For example, there will be a brief interruption to a book I'm listening to on Audible to announce the distance walked, the time taken or when I've closed an exercise ring on my app, then it effortlessly slips back to the exact place where the book interruption took place. More important, sound quality is excellent and the choice for complete noise cancellation or partial is quite helpful depending upon the environment (as in not always using complete noise cancellation while walking in a busy area).
