Overall, quite good
Typically high-quality Panasonic phone, if a bit less user-friendly than previous models I've owned. Could use a less cumbersome interaction with simple tasks For example HOLD, previously a separate, one button press, now requires a search via a "soft" button -- not a good idea. Other, similar quirks abound.
On the plus side, and the main reason for my upgrade, is the superior screen, with larger characters and deeper contrast. Now I can see the info from more than a couple of feet away.
Overall, with perhaps a steeper than optimum learning curve, an excellent phone.

Terrific phone
We live on 2 floors so had to get two complete “sets”. Easy to set up and reception great on both floors.

Excellent product: difficult to read instructions
There seems to be so many more options than our previous Panasonic it's confusing. Instruction booklet is way too small for me to read easily. I gave up.

Difficulty in setting up simple call proceedures
The instructions for setting up the phone or correcting an instruction in the window has taken endless time and the wording in the windows isn't plain and clear. The instruction booklet is also not clearor clearly illustrated for something simple like get dial tone, conference call, Listen to messges. Simple language should show up in window so you know wht button to push or how to reset the menu if something doesn't work. My old wired landline phone ws a lot simpler. also, every time Spectrum has an area outage the window menu goes off and has to be reset. Not having clear in window instructions is driving me crazy.

I bought this item less then a month ago i used panasonic phones before with no problems.
the new model #kx tgf 943 does not work properly it continues charging it pops up with voicemail via phone co.
