Love this kit
I like the convenience of having all the necessary replacement parts. Why did iRobot discontinue the 890 model? I dread when I have to replace my Rosie.

A retiree's Dream!
We have one 980 in bonus room on top floor, i8+ on main and i8+ for fully finished downstairs. Each is set on a schedule- more frequent than any I would have had if using a regular upright or canister. No back problems, no time impairment, and no having to coerce to get the job done! If you can't figure out how to set schedule- call a friend who can! You will be very happy you did! While we have to clean bin after each use on the 980, small effort compared to benefits. The i8+ machines even lessen that "chore". Just bought a lower priced roomba for our relative with spinal issues. She's quite delighted with her "Baxter"! Oh- and a great source of entertainment for our dog!

I use Thandi in all my rooms.She does a good job in the places she can reach. She knows she has to go over some places several times to get them clean.

Highly recommend the IRobot
Ruby is set to run 3 evenings a week. She does a great job of getting the dust bunnies from under my bed. We have hardwood, ceramic and laminate flooring. Does a great job on all of them.

Love my Roomba!
We love our Roomba! We bought it to deal with the dog hair from our 70 pound golden retriever/lab. After 4 months of daily Roomba use and no other vacuuming, I dragged our other vacuum out of the closet and vacuumed with a new bag after Roomba finished for the day. We picked up 1 tablespoon of dirt. We've owned it for 2 1/2 years with no problems.

I love my roombas
This is the best household helper I have ever purchased! I have 2 of them. I have 2 cats and a dog and am always surprised at how much pet hair the roomba picks up. I run them at least twice a week and often more. I would buy Roomba again and again and again.

Buy it. You will love it!
We are a retired couple with no pets and no children. We have a Roomba 900 series and it is one of the best investments we have ever made. We start it when we leave to go grocery shopping and we when we return our vacuuming is complete. How great is that!! Buy it - you will love it!!

Love the LINES!
LOVE LOVE LOVE coming home to fresh vacuum lines on the carpet!! Trash bin is large which is great! I can't seem to get it to make a slight transition from hardwood to medium pile carpet without assistance. Once there it does great! It only comes with one laser, that I'm not sure how to leave it on without resetting it daily, so blocking certain areas of rooms are difficult (under tv cabinet, out of laundry room, away from fireplace) without having to lay the cat post or other object to block.

Want your rooms clean?
Such a great product! Want your floors cleaned while you're at work? Set the clean time and it will do it while you're out. All you have to do is come home and empty the bin! Does need to be cleaned often, but when you deal with dirt all the time you'd have to be cleaned often too. Make sure to keep cords for phones and other things out of its path or it will "eat" them and stop moving. The cords will be fine though!

985 Worked so good I bought two more!
Great for Golden Lab hair, beach sand, dirt, dander, dust removal from my wood flooring. Clean the removable dust bay with a shop vac - works better than the product instructions. I can remove, shake out hair and sand, and shop vac the removable dust bay in three minutes.

Roomba makes weekly cleaning a breeze
I bought the Roomba 890 about 2yrs ago as a birthday present for myself. I have an Akita that sheds like there is no tomorrow so it's a hassle having to vacuum every other day to keep up with it. Since getting the Roomba I've gotten away with weekly manual vacuuming and the dog hair is kept to a minimum. My main con is the small bin for it as well as it randomly struggles getting over the hump between my kitchen floor and carpet but it eventually makes the leap. Another con for some people is it can easily get stuck, but for me I get a kick out of trying to find what hell the Roomba got itself into, so far it's gotten stuck under my recliner a few times and has somehow managed to close the bathroom door on itself as well. Again many may get annoyed by this but it cracks me up when I finally find it. As another person said I do wish the replacement parts were a bit cheaper but I get the reasoning behind it, iRobot is a profit company and it costs them money to make these items so naturally things get marked up. Besides $60 isn't terrible especially for 3 filters, 2 rollers and the brushes. In the time I've have my Roomba all those parts still work great so it's not like you're buying them on a weekly basis. Anyhow I would 100% recommend getting one if you don't already. You'll be glad you did.

Love the mahcine. Why are parts expensive?
We have had a number of Roomba models over the last 12 years. They have all worked great. We have the 805 which is for pet hair. Our dog doesn't shed much, so gratefully, the Roomba doesn't have a lot of dog hair to regularly pick up. I clean out the Roomba with the regular vacuum when we do our weekly or every 2 week house clean. Pros: runs every night and keeps the kitchen floor clean enough that my wife can be comfortable in the kitchen barefoot. Cons: the rotary brush in the left front wears off the finish on our hardwood floors. The Roomba pattern, even though random, performs the same response actions when it encounters corners, so the corners end up with a wear pattern that follow the corners about 2 inches from the wall or cabinet. Also, why are these replacement parts so expensive? The 2-brush, 2-roller and 3 filter pack is $60? This is kinda steep considering what you are getting.

great product, battery life is short though.
Use it 3x a week to clean the whole house. Have to charge the battery 2x to get it done. A more advanced battery with extended life would make this product a 4.8 out of 5

If only the bin didn't clog up so fast.
I use it quite frequently but I'm so disappointed that the bin clogs fast with pet hair and you have to keep cleaning the bin and sensors. I really find this to be a hassle. I'm trying to avoid a lot of exposure to all the dust and repeated emptying and cleaning make my allergies act up.
