The perfect doorbell camera!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new Ring Battery Doorbell Plus! I already had an older version and loved it, but this one is so much better for a few reason. First, the video quality is much improved. The picture is so clear and it does well in bright light as well as dark. It also is so much easier to take the battery out to charge it. Before I had to mess with specialized screws and always ended up dropping one. I also had to take the whole camera down. Now you use a simple do to just pop out the battery pack. I also got to try out the Ring Plus plan. It has so many cool features like familiar face recognition and a summary of what is happening at your door. I am so glad I got this Ring doorbell and would recommend it.

Dependable and Durable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a stay at home dad this doorbell has become my favorite device in the house. I have to do chores and look after my kids daily and this doorbell is easy to hear from any room in my house. The sound is pleasant and the video is clear and sharp making it easy to see who is outside. This is a great quality doorbell, it’s also very easy and simple to install. My kids also enjoys the sound of this doorbell whenever any delivery driver or visitors arrives. The material feels high quality, from rain and wind it continues to perform reliably. It feels sturdy holding up well through changing weather conditions in Chicago. The battery power is excellent it stays strong and consistent. Overall, this doorbell is a durable and dependable addition into our household, the battery power gives me a peace of mind and makes this doorbell a dependable part of our daily routine without added hassle.

Easy to set up, comforting to have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to install! Unfortunately it won’t allow me to upload a photo like usual but the design is slim and super sleek! Wonderful addition to the house. The app is easy to learn and works with batteries for the house which is easy to use. The camera is clear and works wonderfully! It took around an hour to connect after all was said and done. Super simple with easy installation and directions to follow. They even have a video should you need more help. They’ve thought of everything! I definitely would buy this as a gift for someone. It’s so useful! It’s also pretty lightweight and it comes with everything you need to install it including a wedge for better angle should you need it. We love it! Husband is impressed too! We are now looking into getting the full security system to go with it!

Now I’ll always know who’s on my front porch!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get this ring doorbell and set it up! My old doorbell refused to chime when anyone rang it, which made me miss things like packages I needed to sign for, pizza or food deliveries, neighbors who had a question, etc! I had been thinking about purchasing a ring doorbell for several months now. So needless to say, I was extremely excited to try this one out! Since installing the ring doorbell, I never miss anyone at my door! As soon as someone is walking up, I get a notification on my phone letting me know that they’re there. I’m still figuring out the app, but it is very simple to navigate so far. One really cool feature that stood out to me is that I could program up to 50 faces into the app. So for instance, when my son or best friend comes over, the app would say “John Smith is here.” You can also set it to where the doorbell will not trigger on specific faces - for instance - anyone that often comes over or anyone that lives in your home that you don’t want be notified about, you can set it up to where ring will not notify you that they’re at the front door. This is only one of many cool and advanced features that come with this doorbell! It was also very simple to install. It is battery operated and the battery does need to be charged, but I’ve read that it should last at least two to four months before dying which is more than enough time and very convenient if you ask me. I love this doorbell and I’m so excited to continue using it!

Impeccable Security Camera
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ring was easy to setup and operate. It takes great video, and the picture is clear. It alerts me immediately when someone or something is moving in front of my house. It is easy to remove the battery and charge. The only issue I had, had nothing to do with camera but with the nails that came with it to mount it. They were way too short to mount on my siding. I did get it up eventually with some finesse. All and all pretty good security camera.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ring Battery Doorbell Plus has quickly become one of my favorite smart home devices. Setup was easy, connectivity has been reliable and notifications arrive almost instantly whenever someone is at my door.
What impressed me most is the 2K video quality. I live in condo with very poor hallway lighting, but the camera still delivers a clear and detailed image and video. The night vision works extremely well, and I’m very satisfied with how it performs in low-light conditions.
I also appreciate the Head-to-Toe view, which makes it easy to see both visitors and packages left at my door. Battery life has been very well - I only need to recharge it every couple of months, which is impressive for a battery powered device. The quick- release battery makes charging simple and convenient.
The build quality feels premium with durable materials and sleek, modern design.
So after using it for some time already, it’s proven to be reliable, easy to use , and consistently effective. It’s one of those devices that quality does its job every day and makes life a little easier.

Great doorbell

Thank you @Influenster and @Ring for the opportunity to try this product in exchange for my honest opinion. I was impressed with the video quality, how clear and sharp it is making it easy to see who is at my door. The motion detection works very well and sends timely notifications to my phone, so I can stay informed even when I’m away from home. The notifications are easy to understand and see.
I appreciate the two-way audio feature. It allows me to speak with someone at my door from anywhere which is super convenient. The app is user-friendly and makes it simple to view live footage, review events, and customize settings.
Installation was a little tricky for me. The direction were straightforward and easy to follow but my siding made it difficult to install. I plan to look into a different type of mounting system that will work better with my house. If there was an option to mount it horizontally that would have fixed my problem. Overall, the Ring Doorbell is a fantastic smart home device that combines convenience, security, and ease of use.

So easy to install and video quality is amazing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been a Ring customer for several years now, so I was excited to upgrade to the new Battery Doorbell Plus. The good news… setup was ridiculously easy. Once the battery was charged, I had everything installed, connected to the app, and up and running in probably 10 minutes or less.
The battery compartment is easy to access with the included tool, which is great… just make sure you put that little tool somewhere safe because I can absolutely see myself losing it 😂
Since this model doesn’t need to be hardwired, I paired it with a no-drill door mount instead of screwing anything into my house. That made installation even easier, and I like that I can move it to a side door or back door if I ever want extra coverage elsewhere.
Compared to my older Ring doorbell, this one is a noticeable improvement. The video quality is much clearer and the wider view lets me see more of my porch and front yard. I’m currently using the included Ring Protect trial, and the detailed notifications have been really helpful because I can quickly tell whether an alert is something I actually need to pay attention to.
One tip from someone who’s lived through several Wisconsin winters… if you’re going with a battery-powered Ring, consider picking up a second battery. The batteries tend to drain faster during really cold weather, and having a spare charged and ready to swap in means you won’t miss anything while one is charging.
Overall, I’m really happy with this upgrade and wish I had made the switch sooner.

A smart home essential

My opinion is I really like it and really happy to have a chance to try this product. First, the installation was very simple and straightforward, easy for someone without much experience setting up smart home device. The instructions easy to follow and I had it up and running in no time.
Beside of that, I noticed was how loud and clear the doorbell sound is. I never missed the visitors or delivery packages no more. The camera quality is also surprisingly sharp and provided clear video during both day and night. Face, movements and all detail are easy to see, which give me a extra peace of mind when i am away from home
The motions detection work well and send timely notification to my phone whenever someone approached the door. I also like to two ways audio feature, which allowed me to communicate with visitors even I am not home. The app is user- friendly and make easy to see the footage, check records again and customize settings
To consider all the build quality, camera clarity, smart feature and reliability, I honestly think this doorbell camera is worth every penny. Such a great product for home security!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a recent falling out with an unreasonable neighbor, my family decided to install Ring Battery Dorbell Plus (2nd generation) cameras on and in our house so that we can easily monitor our property both when we are home and when we are away.
My husband reported that this unit was extremely easy to set up right out of the box and he had no technology or compatibility problems. The app is fantastic, and it allows me to clearly see what’s going on in my driveway right from my phone!
I really love this feature, as I love with chronic health issues and often need to rest during the day, but find myself jumping up every time my dogs bark at the driveway area. Now I can simply view the camera in the app and it’s saved me from having to get up for the times they are barking at nothing!
I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to enhance their home security and be able to easily view. What’s going on around their property right from the convenience of a cell phone. The unit itself is stylish and looks just like a regular doorbell. It’s slim and will match with most home decor.

Works Flawlessly!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are absolutely loving this new and improved Ring doorbell! The new slimmer design seems very modernized and the picture quality seems to have improved dramatically.
Mounting was easy and only requires two screws. One difference with this Ring is that it requires a small tool to release the front cover to access the battery. We keep the little included tool with the charger so it’s always where we need it.
So far this camera hasn’t missed a single motion event and we were easily able to customize the motion zones in the app, as well as set up smart detection so we don’t get unwanted alerts constantly.
In my experience Ring has been the only 100% reliable camera that we can count on day and night to keep us alert. Highly recommend!

I have had the first-generation Ring camera for about five years, and I'm thrilled to have upgraded. The video quality is absolutely stunning-crisp, clear, and detailed, even in the dark. It would have been easier to just have paper instead of playing with my phone. I love that all ring batteries are are the same, making it easier to keep batties charged. The doorbell is kinda heavy due to the battery so you definitely want to make sure you install the base securely.

Set up is intense
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I say the set up is intense I don't mean difficult. They just want you to sign away all your personal information and permissions to get it up and running. I have some cameras from a different brand and the set up felt much less invasive. I was hoping the Ring functionality would make up for it but it's really a toss up for me. At the moment I'm feeling happier with my dumber cameras that don't need me to sign away my first born fur child to function correctly. I know I'm old and paranoid about new technology but the world feels crazier every day with stories of cameras getting hacked. We all have to decide on a personal level if they make us feel more or less safe.
