Door bell quite working, this was an easy fix
For me, it was easier to get this and plug it in, than try to trouble shoot or fix the wired in door bell. It didn't take long to set it up to the ring device we have. We can hear it well, and we are happy with the product.

GREAT DOORBELL
I LOVE this! I get to choose what ring I want to hear and I get to decide when it should ring and when it should be shut off! It was so easy to install and really does not require any maintenance.

Not bad so far
Pretty good so far! It’s Very loud! Wish there was a way to diferinciate between random motion activation and person activation! But not bad!

It's an overall good system.
I do enjoy self monitoring the front door with this system, but the only drawback is that it cannot contain videos for later viewing. If just had a port for a memory chip. It's an overall good working system for me.

Ok when it works
Got asked for this review just as I started having problems. So, it's useful when it works. Currently says it's offline yet still sending me alerts. Have tried to reset it but no joy yet. Every six months or so there's a random issue usually fixed by restarting it which takes about 20 mins, finding the special screwdriver etc

So without the chime box does the "RING" doorbell make any sound?
Yes, if you press the Ring doorbell - On the outside - the person pressing will hear sound,
But, Inside there will be no sound - Unless it is coming from : The Phone ( connected to the Ring Doorbell ) and or Chime (Connected to the Ring Doorbell )
The Ring Doorbell can also be connected to the the original Bell or Ringer inside the residence.
