We love Ring!

Great camera and light
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera is pretty great. The mounting hardware has a nice solid feel. It comes with everything required to install it. The camera quality itself is very good. The flood light is brighter than I expected. The siren could be louder but it's not a deal breaker. Ring as a whole has a very nice ecosystem for home security monitoring or just cameras. The only improvement in my mind would be if it were powered via poe.

The siren is loud enough to scare anyone away. It was very easy to install. two way talk is very clear, and the picture and video is perfect view! You can use it wireless with the batteries, or you can use it wired with the long cord. I high reccomend getting a ring camera. You can also hook it up to your alexa as well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really amazed by the clarity and the amount of area coverage this spotlight cam has. I can see perfectly at night and never have to worry about anyone sneaking around my door. It was fairly simple to install and is very sturdy after mounted. The motion light is a huge plus as well, coming on almost instantly if anything or anyone is near by. Being able to monitor everything from my phone even if not home makes me feel a lot safer.

Awesome quality!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Ring Spotlight Cam was well needed and I am beyond pleased with it. It was fairly easy to install and the picture is excellent. We already have the Ringbell in the front of our home, but needed something for the closed in back yard area. I do keep the spotlight off at night and we still get a good quality picture. There are lights and sirens on this spotlight cam (definitely a plus), which is new to me but my neighbors expressed their appreciation for me having it. This added security helps me rest much better at night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera is great for anyone. It's a must have to help keep an eye on your home and also have a spotlight. I put this up at my backdoor as I did not have a camera for that area yet. Took a few minutes to put up and then plug in and then we were ready to go. Simple and easy to follow instructions. Picture and sound quality is great and nice to be able to see and have things secure. The features are great and hoping this lasts a long time. I do not have the ring doorbell but now I think I will switch to ring products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ring spotlight Cam pro is an excellent product and great to add to anyone's home safety. It is easy to install with a few steps with the ring app. It is simple to connect to your internet with a couple steps. Easy to understand tutorial when beginning. It is simple enough for not so savvy tech users. The ring itself it is easy to install on any wall outside or hanging area. It is great to place under a covering which is what i planned on doing so snow doesn't sit on it. Long outlet cording which I was unsure about because of being outdoors but it is heavy duty. The spotlight itself is great and clear as day picturing. It has a great feature where you can turn the spotlight on with a touch of a button. It has great features that is better then any other security system. I can watch my front door without having any worries that my house is in trouble. I can watch my house with just a touch of a button on my app. It is an absolute lifesaver and wish I had gotten a ring before this!

Perfect Mounted above Garage

Pretty straightforward install - wired into electric from the attic. Unit is well built and app easy to use. Since the mount is relatively high, depend more on floodlights for lighting but in terms of quality and functionality, everything is great.

Great for peace of mind and monitoring
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love Ring! We have been using the doorbell for a year now but have multiple entrances that don’t need doorbells. So we are using a Ring camera to monitor those doors. With an older home I was appreciative that this allows you to plug it in, which made it super easy to install. The picture/video is great quality and gives an expansive view. We can see our entire yard! You can also communicate like the doorbell and get instant alerts. The siren feature gives us a huge peace of mind. We are going to get rid of our security system and Ring products give us the comfort we need.

The image is clear and the mic pic up has a surprisingly good range. The plug in is a bit difficult if you don't have one nearby and want to use it outside where plugs are less common. That said, this can be overcome if you plan appropriately.

Talk about peace of mind!

I have this set up facing the backyard of my house to ensure we have a visual of that side and angle of the house. The set up was pretty straightforward you just have to have find the right place to plug in to the outlet. The mounting brackets as well as screws are already included so you just have to follow instructions for the easy setup. The amazing thing about our cam is the application in that all videos or live feed can be easily accessed with the internet, it's great because it is also stored up in the cloud for easy access. All in all a great addition to our peace of mind at home strongly recommend!

Great camera and alert system

I like that you can change the mode where you get notified with any motion, or you can change it to just be notified when a person or something the size of a person triggers the camera. I only took one star because i didn't care for the free plan, and wasn't wanting to have to pay for a plan with my camera, other than that it is great, just look into the plans to see what works for you before you sign up.

One big drawback
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Ring spotlight cam is everything you would expect from a Ring product: great quality, reliability, excellent and easy system integration, and ease of installation. I really wanted this spotlight cam to be the perfect solution to my side yard. However, while I’m some home setups or configurations the plug-in design is perfect, I found it to be a bit short sighted. If an unwanted visitor entered my yard, wouldn’t they just unplug the camera and proceed with their intentions? I suppose I could hire an electrician to install an outlet 8 feet up the wall but seems a bit excessive. That being said, for some setups, this design may be the perfect solution especially because the cord that runs from the unit to the plug is ready for paint. So you can blend it into the outside wall of your house. A bit of a missed mark for me, though I wish it wasn’t!
