Great coverage

Easy plug in power but would have loved a hard wired option. Working in our multiple days of negative temps and windchill. Easy to install and seamless integration with existing RING products/app.

Gives Me Peace of Mind & Security!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this Ring Spotlight Cam Pro for the past month and love the peace of mind it gives me about the security of my family and home. The bright spotlight that it gives is perfect for seeing what’s going on outside at night and the camera takes in a large area which I really appreciate. It takes in most of my front yard, walkway and driveway and the camera quality is very crisp and clear. The installation of this camera was pretty simple, quick and self intuitive. I had never had a camera until now and now that I have one, I can’t imagine not having one! It’s so nice to be able to see when someone comes to the door, when packages are delivered and gives me peace of mind when my family is away from home or my teenagers are home by themselves.

Perfect security device

Motion detection works well and doesn’t send alerts for every little thing, which is nice. Very nice security device. I like that it’s plug-in, so no need to charge batteries all the time. Setup was easy and didn’t take long, everything is clear in the app.

Works amazing

Once in a while, it will disconnect from the Wi-Fi but other than that, it works very well. The quality is amazing. You can really zoom in and overall I think this is the best camera system on the market because you can watch it live and you could also play back.

Easily adjustable motion detection. Good value for the money. If there is a negative it would be that it is wired and needs to be near a plug.

Amazing performance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [Incentivized] This is a great spotlight camera. It has worked great at alerting me of motion detected at a great distance. I put the retinal 4K with 10X enhanced zoom to test and it captured the license plates of a vehicle very clearly. I love that it has two-way talk with audio so I can speak to whoever is at the door without having to open my door or even get up or I can also communicate with them through the app even if I am not home. It also has low-light sight which captures in almost dark conditions. So it's perfect for placing in any area even if there's no lighting. It comes with a pretty long power adapter and requires an electrical outlet nearby to plug in. A subscription is required to record and sent the notifications but they have a variety of plans available at an affordable price. Installation was a breeze and I just scanned the QR and it took me step by step with instructions and even a tutorial of how the app works and its features. Another thing I truly appreciate is the amazing packaging with the screws individually packed and labeled. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!

Safe and secure

It has a speaker and microphone for 2-way real time conversions as well as video history with paid subscription. Easy to install and nice camera footage, I am happy with this product.

Great camera
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly love the ring brand. It’s great. We already own the front door camera so we just installed this camera to the front of the garage connected it inside the garage (thinking about adding the solar charger) and then added it to the app. Very very good sensors. It senses the smallest of movements and we get a phone alert right away. Only downfall is needs wifi connection all the time.

Easy to set up, easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The spotlight Ring camera was easy to set up- the paper instructions do point you to the app at some point in the process, which can kind of be annoying if you hate how everything has to be an app these days, but on the other hand it’s a Ring camera, the app is unavoidable lol the camera itself has nice image quality, and the spotlight motion activation is adjustable so you’re not lighting up the neighborhood at every breeze. I do wish there was a way to disable the spotlight entirely for certain time frames (don’t want it going off during the workday at all, for example) but that’s a personal preference.

Security must have for any use

The cameras are well made and offer high quality imagry. The app shows clear views of all cameras in one place. The videos are always clear and colorful, the battery lasts a long time. The plug in version has sturdy cords to withstand any weather. The audio is clear and nightvision is as clear as the day.

Love the motion light camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living out in the middle of nowhere has its perks, but putting up the Ring Pop Spotlight Cam Pro (2nd Gen) was added security. This camera was ultra easy to install and had a ton of really neat features. I received a 30 day trial of recording, but it can also be used without a subscription which is really nice. The microphone option is great to scare the dickens out of anyone who comes to the door, or is a calming reassurance for our pets that we will be home soon. The app was ultra easy to download and install and it works easily. I had no connections issues with our internet and everything went together seamlessly. I am extremely impressed with this camera from start to finish and am happy to have this as extra security for our home.

Very good quality

I love that it has live view and two way talk. It’s very reliable especially when nobody is home. The app is super easy to use also. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really great quality video on this Ring spotlight camera, bright lights that are adjustable with great audio as well. Great easy in App set up, we directly wired up to our in garage plug in, just had to drill a hole in the brick where we wanted it. I would repurchase, and makes me want to get another ring, we currently have nest and ecobee as well. All very similar but the video on this ring is top notch.

Very nice security camera
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Ring Spotlight Cam Pro has lots of great settings and features. This is the 2nd generation version which is the most recent version as of this writing. Setting this camera up was moderately difficult. I’m pretty good with technology though so I didn’t have any real problems. I found the downloadable instruction manual from the Ring website to be helpful. This device also has a guided setup via the Ring app that was helpful. This is a plug in device so needs to be plugged into a power outlet to work. It also requires the Ring app and a Wi-Fi connection. The video quality is very good at 4K. The spotlight is a very bright light as well. The motion sensors work well at sensing movement. This is a great security camera for the outdoors. I love the modern and sleek design of this device as well. The only thing I don’t like is that I’d have to pay for a Ring subscription if I want all the features and the ability to save the video history. Otherwise, this is a nice security camera.

Top notch surveillance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a top notch ring surveillance camera it’s not a doorbell one, it has motion sensors, a very bright light that luckily can be turned off when necessary, 2 way sound you can hear and be heard very clearly. You can save the videos if needed as well, and it was super easy to install, the only thing i didn’t like about it is that it is a plug in so you have to be mindful of where you install it because you will have a power code showing, i chose to use it inside my apartment facing my front entrance that way i can view my dog while I’m away since that’s usually where she stays when she’s home alone and sits by the front door. It’s also just to be on the safe side if someone unauthorized was to enter my apartment you never know even though i live in a secure building it just added security.

Great for added peace of mind
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was thrilled to be able to review this ring spotlight cam at my home. I already have a ring doorbell and so it was easier to establish in my end. When I opened the box the build was more plastic feeling and it wasn’t as heavy as my doorbell. Installation was easy once I figured out where to place it. I haven’t had any issues since it’s been up. I believe this to be a sound investment for safety peace of mind.

Easy to install and use ring camera with light
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ring camera is easy to install and offers clear video. The spotlight sensor is nice and bright. The only thing I do not live is the fact that it is plug in. The cord is not visually appealing. I was able to install it myself, with very minimal installation experience. It connects easily and the ring app is easy to use. It is nice that it includes a free 30 membership.
