Can’t live without it!
I wish the motion detection had a longer range , but other than that I love it. I bought an attachment for my apartment door and it was an easy installation. The video quality is clear and the battery life is great.

Great for security
I received this product as a gift from work last year and have really appreciated it. The video quality is crystal clear, and the night vision is also great quality. The battery lasts for nearly a month but does vary depending on how you use it. I would definitely recommend to those who live in a townhouse community like me as it helps keep an eye on the comings and going.

Quality is really good, the wide angle lens lets you see a good range from your front door. The installation was super easy but the battery does not last long if you don’t hard wire it. Motion detection picks up everything from people, animals and cars.

Good camera
Video quality is pretty good on it, day time viewing is great. Night vision is a little dark to see, but it is on me due to where I had to mount it. I mounted it directly on the door, the only problem with that is it picks up the white trimming around the door more than anything in the dark. My solution was to put a small motion activated light under it, it allows me to see the footage alright if someone happens in the dark. Under better mounting circumstances it works well at night
Overall I am very happy with this doorbell camera I would definitely recommend it. I know a lot of people wouldn’t like the subscription part, but it makes sense since they’re storing your cameras footage. It’s less of a worry than a thief taking an sd card out of similar. Even just have the camera there has already acted as a deterrent, those neighbors have walked by but haven’t done anything near my porch since. The only people that have been up there are people that should be like the mail and such. With this I feel way more secure!

Great image quality and motion detection. The membership is reasonable for 1 device. Installation was easy. I had the camera wired to the existing doorbell electrical outlet so we do not have to worry about battery life

Great product. Set up is very easy. I hard wired it to the house so we don’t have to charge the battery. It’s nice to be able to clearly see who is approaching the door and to keep an eye on packages while we are away from home.

Best purchase in a while!
I absolutely love our Ring Doorbell 2 (2nd generation). We decided to go with the unwired version and it was super easy to self install! I have to be honest, we didn’t buy it due to crime, but because we live in Colorado and have a ton of wildlife in our neighborhood. I didn’t want to miss seeing them. Sure, crime is everywhere and I do feel much more comfortable knowing that if anything does happen, it will be recorded. However, of all the doorbell cameras I researched the Ring doorbell seems to have the best quality picture and it certainly does not disappoint. It is very clear and concise. I had steered away from getting one for a while because I thought it had to be wired and in that case I would need professional installation. With the no wired version, it literally look me 5 min to unscrew our old doorbell and mount the Ring. I really appreciate that we can choose for it not to record our neighbors or cars just passing by. I recommend it to everyone….whether you are wanting to catch crime events or just see what is going on in your neighborhood. Oh, and did I mention you can even get updates of other neighbors activity and concerns if they choose to post it? Amazing!

Innovation is consistent
Defiantly a good product and crime deterrent. The best part, in my opinion, is that Ring is an active company that consistently innovates. Even though you may be stuck with the specific doorbell you buy, the firmware and services are consistently updated. Big fan of the product and the company overall. Very user friendly and easy to set up.

Pairs with Apple and Samsung products
I love it and can’t imagine life without it. I can see when I’m child arrives home from school every day when I’m at work. It pairs with my Samsung smart hub refrigerator so that I can also see from that screen. It’s just an awesome way to see who is at your door. I love this so much.

The video quality is amazing on this camera The motion detection is the same The camera detects motion very easily is very sensitive to it there's very good audio clarity the battery life it depends on the setting you have it so that depends on you but it's a very good battery life as long as you have it on a good battery setting for motion but that's all said as far as your settings go I give this doorbell a 10 out of 10 I love it and I would recommend it for anybody it also has great features for even people that don't have a ring doorbell for the neighborhood and alerts and everything

Love protecting my family
I definitely recommend any home security because it’s very necessary. I also recommend being able to speak through the doorbell to let delivery drivers know to just leave it. And to let ppl know you’re watching them. Some times the notifications if a car drives by are annoying but they are necessary

Peace of Mind
We frequently travel and the Ring Doorbell helps keep us aware of comings and goings at our house while we are away. We can see the house and pet sitter come and go, monitor deliveries, etc. The door bell is also a cute way for my son to let me know he's home after school. He rings on the way in and shoots me a smile so I know he is safe.
