The connectivity was just as simple once the app was downloaded. Thoroughly impressed and like knowing who's on my porch and when.

Great safety feeling
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love having this Ring doorbell! It’s so convenient being able to see when people come up to the door before they even ring the doorbell. I can see when my packages are dropped off and I can even talk to people through the doorbell. We can go back and see previous motion too not just in real time. I love that it is hardwired so there are no batteries to worry about charging!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] (I received this product thanks to influenster in exchange of my honest review) The product is great for its really nice features such as having the ring app on your phone and getting notifications based on notifying me if someone is on my front door or on my yard, im able to get calls if someone rings the bell. Its night camera feature is amazing the camera at night looks very clear and light up and makes it easy to see if there is anyone at your property at night by notifying you with notifications. Im able to look at past recording throughout the day or past weeks. I was able to connect my ring with transformer cable to achieve my ring doorbell to work and seems like its very durable and sturdy.

awesome home doorbell camera!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we have a house that was built in 1930s and there is no wire for a doorbell. we purchased all the things we need to run the wiring but will be awhile til it's installed. I have had this version at my old house though and I really love it. can't wait to have this ring here in my new home. they are very durable and easy to use.

Most of all it doesn’t require batteries which is amazing. The sound and camera quality and the design of the the doorbell it’s more sleek aswell I I really like it

Clear video, fast notifications and a simple installation to improve home security.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Ring Wired Doorbell (2nd Gen) and my experience has been quite positive. Activation was simple following the instructions of the application, and in a short time it was already working. The quality of the video is clear both day and night, which allows you to see who is at the door with ease.
Notifications arrive quickly on the phone when it detects movement or when someone rngs the bell. I also like that I can check what happens at the entrance without being at home. So far the I performance has been stable and I have not had any major connection problems.
Overall, it is a good choice for those looking to increase the security of their home with a relatively simple installation and useful features for daily monitoring.
Something I value is the peace of mind it offers to be able to see who is at the door even when I am not at home. As for the value, I consider that it offers good features for its price, especially for those looking for a practical way to improve the safety of the home without making too much investment. In addition, being connected by cable, you don't have to worry about charging batteries frequently, which also saves time and maintenance.

Nothing gets past this doorbell
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installing this hard wired ring camera was a little intimidating at first. As our doorbell to our front door is original with our house, which was built in 1965. We were pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to install. We did not run into any issues during the installation. We have another brand camera so I had been excited to compare the ring doorbell to our other brand. The ring doorbell is far better, especially when it goes into detail of what is taking place. It gives you an alert, such as - someone in a black truck just pulled into your driveway. And the image quality is top notch. It’s not pixelated at all.
I have tested this for approximately three weeks now, and I am very pleasantly surprised on how accurate and reliable this camera is. The range on this camera is huge. I can see all the way up the block and I really like that. I can move the angle as well to see down the block. Nothing gets past the doorbell.

It works!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never thought I could use a wired a Ring doorbell because my doorbell power was insufficient so for years I’ve been using the battery powered Ring doorbell. It worked great, but charging it was an extra step I had to do periodically. It turns out with a very simple and inexpensive transformer I was able to install the wired Ring doorbell and I love it! It’s so slim and clean looking and works great. I love knowing I’ll never have to worry about charging it. Gave 5 stars because the installation kit included the jump cable I needed for my mechanical doorbell, and it is compatible with my existing Chime!

Safer with Ring

The install was quick and easy, and I really love that it’s hardwired so there’s no worrying about charging batteries. The video quality is super clear, and having different subscription plans makes it easy to choose what works best for you. This is actually my second ring doorbell, and I honestly feel so much safer having it at my door!

Know what is happening around your door even if you are away, community app
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with Ring now I can know what is happening around my door.
The quality of camera is very good 2K and night vision also shows a good quality. Also I like that the camera has a wide range it also shows my driveway.
It so immediately send notifications and it writes for example gray raccoon on your porch or red car on your driveway. Also no need for searching whole video if something was detected the app marks important events on the timeline like person appears or car pull ups.
Also I like neighborhood community in the app where neighbors wrote about events or activities, accidents happen in the neighborhood you can be informed what is happening around your house.
You can also buy additional chime and the doorbell sound appear all around the house.
Overall I am so happy cause now I can know what is happening or if someone comes to my house, even if I am not home I can reply them through Ring.

Piece of mind

The Installation was a breeze, it came with very easy instructions. I wished it came with an angle but my husband ended up making one, although it’s also sold in stores by the brand. I loved the speckled gray color and how accurate the camera is and the description of what’s going on outside.

This is the perfect ring for me!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OK here's what I love about the Ring 2nd Gen, you have an option of hard wiring it so it will ring your doorbell or, you can use it with the rechargeable batteries and charge them using the USB Cable. You have all the benefits of two way talk, video etc. This works great for those that cannot wire to the doorbell. You can purchase an aftermarket bracket (online, Etsy, etc) to mount it without hard wiring. It seems to work about a month before you need to change the batteries if you go that route. I don't want our doorbell to ring, due to pets so relying on Battery only and no door chime has worked out perfectly!

Perfect for new home owners! 🏠

We are new home owners and I’m getting ready to start a porch bakery and this is exactly what we were looking for in a doorbell alarm device. Very quick and easy install with the app and battery. It can be used wired or just battery charge. A little harder on brick but still not bad at all. Design is also a nice aesthetic on our home!

Easy setup, clear video, extra peace of mind!

One of my favorite things is being able to see who's outside my house directly from my phone no matter where l am. It gives me so much more peace of mind and makes everything feel more secure. What impressed me the most is that I was even able to connect it to my smart refrigerator Now when someone rings the doorbell, I can instantly see them on the fridge screen and even talk to them from there, which honestly feels so convenient and high tech. The setup process was also super easy. Connecting the doorbell and setting everything up in the app was quick and simple. I also really like that the app includes 3 emergency buttons to quickly contact police, firefighters, or paramedics if needed. I also love that the device itself is lightweight and pretty compact, but still super functional and powerful for everything it does. The video quality looks really clear, and overall it's made checking the front door so much easier and more convenient every day.

High quality camera , great vision , amazing sound and high vision everything I want to be secured
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love ring , I have ring so many years now I upgraded with wired doorbell 2nd gen , and it’s so good ! I see a big difference as this one has a great camera quality it’s 2K , my front door is so visible now , covers more outdoor space , it’s more detailed and acts fast . I like that ring acts fast when it’s motion , and also the voice while someone is calling is so clear , when I’m speaking voice and sound is totally amazing , great hearing . I love that the ring is a modern design , so easy to install , and has a high quality visibility. The best is that as I said it covers a big territory , also has a high camera resolution and I can see very clear everything from my ring app . Installation was very easy , it took 15 min and ring has everything inside the box to install it . Also , night vision is so good too , so clear and it’s perfect . Overall, quality , durability and territory coverage is amazing . Going a good recommendation.

Such a peace of mind!

Catches motion and people with no issues
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Ring Wired Doorbell (2nd Gen) free for review from Influenster.
We already have other ring cameras set up inside and a camera witj security lights outside. Ring wired doorbell was easy to install, that my husband' had the it installed within minutes. This product has retinal vision 2k, motion detection and 2 way talk. The Ring Wired Doorbell can also connect with your smart TV. This means when someone rings the doorbell a small rectangle pops up at the top corner of the tv so you can see who is at your door.
I am happy we now have the Ring Wired Doorbell at our front door. Our dog tends to bark towards the door, just for me to get up and no one is at the door. I like that now I can just look ar the doorbell camera to see if anyone or anything is at the door. I can also look at the camera when I'm away from home if I receive a notification of motion or a person is at my house. I will say I'm impressed that the Ring Wired Doorbell can also catch the motion of cars driving by our house. The road is good distance from out porch, so I didn't think it would be able to catch motion on the road very well.
I'm so glad we were able to test out and review the Ring Wired Doorbell. I recommend this product and do not regret installing this product at all.

Nice quality but subscription needed for full benefits
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Self installation for this Ring wired doorbell was pretty easy, you just need to predrill a few holes. If you are installing on brick, make sure you choose where you install it since it’s a little harder to patch or hide holes if you need to move it. The video and audio quality are crisp and clear and the app works smoothly. My only downside is that you need a subscription to be able to store and save previous events and without the subscription, you are mostly limited to live view only.
