We were having trouble with our TV kicking out all the time. We did some research and was told we needed a new streaming device. We liked our roku stick but it seems that was the problem because since we replaced it with roku ultra it runs faster and smoother and we don't have the problem of being kicked out the system.

Great device
It's better than the Firestick I had. More user-friendly. I don't have to clear the cache. That's an annoying waste of time. Plus I can watch NWA.

Great update
We upgraded our ROKU to match the resolution of our new TV. It has been a great improvement. How we managed to set up the remote without ROCU 'S remote remains a mystery, but we did it!

Amazing improvement!
I was using an older ROKU on my TV and getting very bad reception! It actually read Poor under Settings and Signal strength. Now it reads Excellent!!! The only thing that was disappointing was the remote that came with it does not have an earbud plugin which I had with my old remote, but I do love that it lights!

Sadly Roku now has advertisements
I own 3 Roku ultras and a few of the lower cost ones. Sadly Roku now has advertisements, but I get it; companies make billions upon billions annually from showing us advertising. My opinion is that Roku is a better streaming device compared to the offerings from Apple, Google, Amazon…far more streaming app options. The only downside to Roku is that some content is only available on their steaming devices and not a phone or PC Roku app.

Best Device for Streaming
We have a smart TVs and other methods to use to get streaming services, but ROKU is by far the best device to use. Easy to use, foolproof way of adding channels easy to clone setting from the main TV room ROKU to the bedroom TV ROKU. We have would not be without it.

The Roku Ultra is still the best streaming device on the market. There are certainly other devices that are good performers, but none of them combine the high 4K performance, availability of apps and value that the Ultra does. I have owned over 15 different Roku devices through the years and the current model is without a doubt Roku's best.

Cost effective, fast, easy
I have several roku boxes in my house. The roku ultra is in my livingroom. Its fast and effective. At one point, my mom came home with a set top box from the internet provider. She used that for a while until I change the internet plan. When she started using the roku again, it was clear that there are more free apps, its faster and easy to find movies and shows from the home page, and its a great product.

Streaming Glitch Gone
I've got a 10 year old tv that still has a great picture. The problem was that some streaming applications were too much for its limited processor capabilities and contents would freeze or appear to buffer for long periods. After installing the Roku Ultra, the problem went away. Adding in the apps we had to the Roku menu was easy and seeing the streaming options is nice.

Great Upgrade
Our early version, original and still working Roku needed an upgrade to take advantage of the new technology available with our new TV system. The transition to the Roku Ultra was simple and the picture and sound quality is excellent. Love the backlit, rechargeable remote with volume control and voice activation which can be turned on and off on the remote. We turned voice off after it surprisingly picked up TV dialogue and started a search. Overall, a great streaming product.

My old cable service was growing way too expensive and had begun to shed content at the same time. So, I contracted for a complete professional redo of my home electronics - including a theater system and two other TVs. The result has been great over all - and a large part of that was the acquisition of three Ultra units. They have netted me a lot of extra channels as well as a crystal-clear picture, across the board. The cable service had not been doing that good a job. Ah, if there were only a "Last" button on the Ultra controllers!

Simple set up
Easy, out of the box set up. love the lighted, rechargeable remote! What would be better is if I could dial up a channel instead of scrolling through to get the one I want.
