[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Rowenta- Focus Excel Iron is amazing! This is absolutely the best iron I have ever owned. It is a quality made iron and has super features. First of all, I must mention the extra powerful steam production and coverage. It truly sets the iron apart from other irons. It heats up quickly and also has the auto shut off. This iron is just right for today's ironing. The iron works perfectly on all fabrics. I have the new bamboo sheets and I find they need to be ironed for the best look. It also works well on denim. The Focus Excel iron was just what I needed. Yay! no more need for a spray bottle.

Great Quality Iron
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the Rowenta Focus iron for about a month now and use it daily. I’ve enjoyed it more and more every day!
The iron came packaged safely and securely. You can definitely tell the quality difference just by the packaging alone but it doesn’t stop there!
It feels nice and sturdy in your hand. Without being too heavy. It has many features you don’t find in other irons.
The handle design makes it easy and comfortable for both myself and my husband to use.
I love how powerful the steam and spray options are. It does an amazing job getting stubborn wrinkles out. Whether vertical or horizontal,the performance is consistent! And the anti calcium feature is a life saver,especially where I am as the water here is very hard. And the cord kinda swivels to stay out of your work area.
Overall I’d absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a great quality iron! You wont be disappointed!
You may be able to get something cheaper but you will be sacrificing the quality and reliability of Rowenta!

Gets the job done well!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife has always been a fan of this brand of irons. Its quick to heat up, fantastic heat, steam settings. The tip is handy as it gets in those hard to reach areas of clothing. I feel it cuts down on time. Wrinkles are gone in seconds.

" Great Steam "

This iron will let me get into tight corners, and has great steam. It is so much easier than others I have used in the past. Will be purchasing one for my mother in law.

Smooth!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great iron. It feels smooth and compact to handle, yet does the job well. I iron almost every morning and it heats up fast! I like the steam button to really get the wrinkles out. I've always been a Rowenta customer and I burnt sticky stuff on my last one, so this was a great replacement. Would recommend!

Rowenta the best!

Great iron!

It has a strong burst of steam and does a great job. I also sew, so the precision of this iron is what I need. I like the pointed end which helps when ironing seams open or just getting unto small spaces. I'm very happy with this iron!

I use stitch witchery a lot and this iron puts out the steam, so you can get your projects done super quick!! Also, this iron just looks good!! The best iron !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i’m 23 and don’t iron often but i seen so many good reviews about this brand i decided to try it out. it heats up really fast,the steam covers a larger area and i like that i can see how much water is in the iron. i only had to do one or two passes over my clothes . the style is very sleek and looks “updated”. i’d recommend to inexperienced and experienced ironers lol. i think people who iron everyday should definitely try this !

Great little machine

The steam works great as long as you don't hit the button too many times in a row. That cools the plate off and no steam comes out(learned that the hard way). Over all this is a very good iron.

Unrivaled protection from limescale!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the design of this German made Iron. It's shape, with it's elongated tip makes it easier to press clothes with narrow edges, seams and collars.
It heats up quickly and glides over laundry easily. It is lightweight compared to the other Rowenta Iron's with steam features, I have owned in the past. The size and shape of the iron’s sole-plate is also nice.
All the controls work well, and it is self cleaning with a "calc catcher" that is removable. The transparent water tank window is convenient for easy watch over the water level.
It also has a nice balance to it and does not tip over like the cheaper irons do.
Overall the colors, design, and features make it a good desired product.

What I expected

As expected my iron is very smooth when I iron my shirts because of the generous amount of steam that it produces. It is very easy to handle because if it’s light weight and very easy to iron in between the buttons on my dress shirts. I also like the long cord for more maneuverability. Great product.

Fantastic Iron!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using this iron, I’m extremely impressed! The first thing I love about this iron is how heavy-duty it is. The iron is still lightweight, even with its durable construction. Another feature I love about this iron is how easy it is to hold. This iron has such a comfortable hand grip, allowing me to hold it for extended periods of time. The iron also has multiple holes, allowing me to quickly apply heat and steam evenly throughout my clothing. The tip of the iron is also very helpful as it’s thin enough that it allows me to navigate around even the smallest areas (such as buttons). I also really appreciate how easy the knob is to adjust. I’m able to quickly alter the heat level based off of my preferences. I’ve also loved taking advantage of the auto-steam feature. This takes a lot of the hassle out of ironing and allows me to finish ironing more quickly. Another feature that I’ve enjoyed is the see-through water window. This takes the hassle out of trying to figure out how much water I have. Lastly, I’ve been very pleased with the auto-off feature. This is something that I’ve always disliked about ironing in the past because I always worry I’ve left my unit on. Overall, I’m very pleased with this iron and would highly recommend it to anyone in search of a simple, efficient iron!

I'm all grown up

Well, It's awesome. So it needs to be said. I still rock the iron down bottoms and.shirts. I am one of the few in the office. The more starch the better. This iron does the job a lot better then my old one did. Great machine.

Wrinkles be gone!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I am liking my new Rowenta iron, not to mention the pretty cool color and design as well. My husband has to dress up for work everyday and so I like to save money with dry cleaning by doing the washing and ironing on my own. This iron has worked great! Heats up quickly and irons out the wrinkles with perfection. The steam option is nice as well for those stubborn wrinkles that need a little extra power to get out. The handle/grip is comfortable and overall the iron is light and easy to hold. It also has an auto shutoff function as well.

Love the steam!

The Rowenta DW53 Focus Excel has hundreds of steam holes in the plate that allows for more steam than I had with my old iron. The plate also is shaped with a “precision tip” that allows you to get into tight areas around collars and such. I have used just the steam to get wrinkles out of more delicate clothing. Give this iron a try y’all! You won’t be disappointed.

Hot and powerful steam!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The iron is heavier than my old iron. The extra weight makes ironing so much easier since you don’t have to apply extra pressure which is especially great when ironing heavier fabrics or applying iron on vinyls.
The completely transparent water tank makes it easy to see how much water is left in the tank and when it’s time to refill. Refilling the water is easy as well since the water refill hole faces downward. I love that the spray mist feature is pointing downward (and not forward like on some other irons) so you can get the added moisture exactly where you need it. The setting wheel is large, easy to read and twist.
The iron heats up quickly and is ready to use in no time. The ironing plate has tons of tiny steam holes, which are distributed all over the stainless steel plate, and allow for an even distribution of the hot and powerful steam. The pointy tip makes it easy to reach hard to reach areas and all those tiny details which can be found on lots of kids clothes. Rowenta DW53 Focus Excel has saved me a lot of time especially when it comes to ironing bedsheets or curtains, since one pass is enough to get even the most wrinkliest fabric, super smooth.

Best Iron Ever!

I am so glad I finally got a Rowenta. I wish I would have a long time ago. The iron heats up quickly and the steam burst is amazing and I can iron a lot faster because of the great output of steam. I only have to go over an area one time. Love it!

Great Steam Function with Precision
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iron is a great upgrade from my previous iron. I have used this on several materials and it does well on them. I used the steam function and it worked quickly. I like that the point of the iron also makes steam and is really good at detail ironing for small areas. The iron is slightly heavier than what I am used to but that’s probably because this is better quality.

The pointed tip is great for ironing around buttons. Love that it has an auto shut off just in case! If you have had your old iron for a while it’s definitely time to upgrade it’s actually made me enjoy ironing now!

Great iron
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this over a week ago and I’ve used it couple times already. There’s no dripping of water, and it steams pretty well! Love this brand as it’s a trusted brand when it comes to irons and steamers. There’s different setting on the iron that’s really helpful and the auto shut off is a must for safety reasons. Even though it’s corded it’s a nice iron overall. Highly recommended if anyone is looking for a great iron!

Good German iron! Does the job!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iron is made by Rowenta, a German company. I thought the design of the iron was nice. Easily graspable and hand-able. Steam and spray buttons right by thumb area. People with larger hands may have issues as the index/middle finger may hit and/or move the dial in the middle. I have to move the iron around a bit in order for me to set the dial correctly as the handle gets in the way - also the font on the dial is a bit small for me to read. I find the clear water reservoir window extremely useful as it lets me know when I have to refill soon. I've been using it to iron jeans and shorts as I've been line drying to be Eco-consious, especially in the summers. Seems to be doing a good job so far. I like the tip of the iron as it can easily slip under the creases of the shorts. Doesn't seem to leak - you need to follow the instructions and wait for the temp light to turn off. I wish the cord would recoil back into the body of the iron like my old iron does. Handle and steam setting knob is made of plastic and seems a bit flimsy so I am hoping this will last. All in all, it seems like a good iron.
