Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it! Best iron I have ever owned. I sew and it works great in everything. Yes, the color or the water tank is a bit dark, but i could care less. I just love the rotating cord, the steam is strong, heats fast and the stainless plate glides great! I love the shape of the tip! Fancy! I did get glue on it from stabilizer, so I need to clean it. I use it at least 4x a week.

It gets pretty hot and I have no trouble ironing the most stubborn wrinkles. I have used the steam feature and it works fine, but I like to use the spray feature better. It's just a matter of preference. I also like that it shuts off automatically after a while. This feature is quite convenient since I often forget to unplug it. The length of the cord is quite generous. Overall, it's a great iron!

Having these features combined into one unit is so convenient. I love that I can use it on my ironing board or use the steamer vertically for clothing on a hanger. This is very easy to use and the knobs are clearly labeled. You just add water and turn it to the desired setting. It heats up very quickly. There are nothing that I don't like about this steam iron. Highly recommended!

It's lightweight, but heavy enough to iron out wrinkles. The steam feature works well and doesn't drip everywhere. And it hasn't burned my clothes! What else could you ask for in a great steam iron? This one is a winner.

In past experiences I have found iron's that claim to have a steam function end up either producing the tiniest puff of steam and just leak water out making you have to change your planned wardrobe since the article is soaking wet. This performed nicely and gave a good jet of steam that actually penetrated the fibers of the clothes removing wrinkles without having to put as much direct heat, which is great for synthetics or fibers that are delicate. It also irons smoothly when you actually want to apply some direct heat and straighten out those tough wrinkles. Overall I found this to have a great design and perform exactly to my expectations. This is the best iron I have come across so far and I will continue to use it far into the future.

She irons clothes, linens, and she is also a quilter so she does a lot of ironong in her craft room. We are adding a second Rowent iron to the one we already have since we liked it so well. The iron we had before that was also a Rowenta and I bought it in college. It lasted over 15 years. This iron has plenty of heating power, the swiveling cord is such an awesome feature, that I won't buy an iron without it. This iron is easy to fill, which is good because my wife INSISTS we use distilled water from a gallon jug & I am not great at pouring from it. It works as expected and the upright steam function is easy to use. As with most upright steamers, it doesn't get all the wrinkles out but does a nice job.

I often find myself needing to steam items but breaking out the full steamer always takes too much effort. The one thing I wish I could change about this product is having a retractable cord. I can never quite store the cord properly and it ends up getting tangled in things.

It has multiple settings and suggests fabric types right on the dial for ease of use. This particular iron model is a deep orange color. I was expecting a red color from online pics but it’s definitely not; however, that wasn’t a big deal. It heats up fast which is great and works well ironing the wrinkles out of my clothing. One negative is the cord is not retractable but all else is great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best iron I’ve owned! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Rowenta - Access Steam Iron is the best iron I’ve ever owned! My husband does most of the ironing because he has the patience, but since getting this iron- I do it all!! This iron heats up quickly.. has tons of tiny holes for steam so the steam is even and doesn’t cause giant water spots! The iron has a small tip that gets in tighter, smaller spaces making it so easy to iron in between buttons and collars. It’s also big enough to do the bigger items as well. For tougher wrinkle spots, the iron can do a steam shot that gives an extra burst of steam. I’m forgetful so the iron has an auto-off function that turns the iron off after being left unattended. (THANK GOODNESS) The iron is nice and lightweight and has an 8ft cord! I love it.

Even when they're hanging up in my closet they seem to get wrinkled quickly. This iron heats up quickly. More than 300 micro holes for steam distribution is amazing. I use the steam powershot for those stubborn wrinkles and it's get them everytime. Three different settings for the iron so you get your desired temperature. It works great for daily use!

The handle has a comfort grip, easy to fill and has an auto-off for safety. The steam comes out in a strong burst and covers a large area. It also has a vertical steam option, which comes in handy for drapes or dresses on hangers. The settings are easy to adjust with a knob and the precision tip is wonderful for around buttons and corners in shirts. I really like this iron. It works great and efficiently.

There are a couple features that are at, like the fact that you can blow steam out without having to place it down flat. I find that inevitably, it gets scratched up, when I accidentally iron over the buttons, and such, and the bottom does not glide as smoothly as I would like it. I got the Rowenta steam iron this time and I am obsessed about this new iron! Very efficient. Heats up quickly, and has 300 steam holes, so the steaming process is easy and fast. Lightweight, easy to operate, easy to fill, and best of all - I can use it for vertical steam on my curtains, or if I just need a quick refresh on my clothes and don't feel like getting the ironing board out. I am trying to figure out how to pack it to take on my business trips as irons in hotels are the worst. With this Rowenta lightweight iron, I just might!

It isn’t a lightweight iron which I actually think makes it do a better job of getting the wrinkles out of our clothes. I used it to do some iron on images for my kids and they turned out wonderfully, much better than when I tried it with our old iron. Overall, I’m very impressed!

Our household irons our clothes every day for work, and it gets a bit tedious. I want something fast and easy. This iron does it all. I don't have to have a separate water sprayer. This one does it. With this, there is an option for no steam or burst of steam. The light on the bottom side let you know when it is ready. My favorite part is how easy it is to clean. With my other steamer, I had to pour the water out and soak it in water and vinegar. With this, there is a function within the machine to clean it. That is perfect. Only concern is how hard it is to read the water line. I just have to fill it up and pour half of it. Overall, this item is great. It is the traditional iron but improved. It works and works well.
