Great surround system!

The sound is incredible and I love it for shows and movies. The sound fills the room and is well balanced. I love this system!

Great Sound
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded my home theater with the Samsung HW-Q990D and it was better than I thought it would be. I like the sounds that can be heard from the rear speakers that you wouldn't if not for them. It has been great so far looking now to pair it with a Samsung TV as I have an LG TV right now.

Awesome Soundbar
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing soundbar and sound is unreal! While watching football, you can hear the spatial audio with the announcers and game on the front soundbar, but what blew me away is that the rear speaker focus on the sound of the crowd, which feels so immersion like you are at the game. Music is phenomenal when streaming and overall a fantastic soundbar. Had for almost a year now with zero issues.

This current product is a good and reliable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This current module is the one of the best bang for your buck the quality of these sp speakers are pretty reasonable with a great surround sound speaker and subwoofer to back it up it's for your local family movie night or small backyard party it handles it all and live ups for to ita expectations and it's durability is excellence especially of you have children who are clumsy it doesn't break easy and it's easy to connect and use for quick access overall I would rate this setup a 7 out 10 for those who are looking for a mid ranged speaker

As beautiful as I expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a new Samsung tv and wanted a premium sound system so I purchased the top of the line at the time. My expectations were for it to be easy to set-up and install and for it to sound incredible and look nice and it was all that and more! I have had zero issues with it. The wireless speakers sound great and mo wires except the power cord. They are quality built and I expect to have them for a long time. It sounds like a movie theater in my living room.

Powerful but doesn't take up room!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these speakers for everything– music, movies, and gaming! The dolby atmosphere works flawlessly while gaming. It helps with directional noise. I know when someone is coming up behind me in the game. Movies are great when there's crazy action with the great bass, but also when there's quiet scenes with low volume dialog, there's active voice amplifier so it detects the quiet scenes and you dont have to constantly turn up and down the volume to hear what people are saying. If its still not enough, in the settings on the smart things app you can turn on "voice enhancement" to make dialog or even rap music more enjoyable. Music is where this shines. It can seamlessly link to your phone and dolby atmos apps like tidal. If you walk in your house while playing music on your phone and can walk up and tap your phone to the top of the speaker and your speaker just starts playing the music.

Best Soundar on the market

The sound, the fidelity, the latency, and how convincing the Dolby Atomos sounds! Huge difference in performance in a more compact body.

BEST. SOUNDBAR. EVER!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never experienced a soundbar that I REALLY loved till I bought the Samsung Q990D. Paired with my Samsung 98" DU9000 TV, it brings a whole new level to the term "high-tech home theater". There's simply no comparison to watching TV in 4K with a top-of-the-line Dolby Atmos soundbar, and this is it!
The best part is you can take advantage of the TV's speakers in a combined feature called Q-Symphony. The integrated soundbar system uses the TV's speakers as a sort of center channel. Everything was set up out of the box in literally 10-15 minutes, including the subwoofer and satellite speakers (all of which connect to the soundbar wirelessly as soon as you plug in the power).
The sound is beyond amazing, whether playing a movie, concert, etc, and if you like to play music *loud* it can definitely do that too!
10/10 on all fronts - price, quality, ease of setup/use, value, and overall experience...

Best of the Best!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This system is exactly what we wanted. The Q990D with satellite 📡 speakers for the rear. The sound is incredible. Our room is 17x11 and is incredible. The sub in the corner on the floor the center (surround) bar hung on the wall under the 75" Samsung TV, satellite 📡 speakers level on stands behind the couch or our right & left. Amazing sound. All of the options are what we were looking for. For us we didn't need to upgrade to the (E) or (F) model. Impressed with this unit. Also I used to be an audiophile, the total surround speakers all over the room the big powerful Onkyo receiver etc. this thing isn't bulky like the old systems and has incredible sound and clear just what we were looking for. I have a friend that is a surround sound geek and does this for a living over 20 years and recommended this system.. so glad I changed over to this instead of the "Old style ". Good job Samsung. I also appreciate the "Military 🎖️ Discount". Supporting your Veterans ❤️💯. That goes a LONG way with me!!

Closes one had to this Samsung bar was a LG one and it was my first dolby atmos soundbar and it was their flagship also but it couldn't hold nothing close to the samsung soundbar

Audio sound is out of this world
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hooked up my Samsung soundbar to my laptop have it to Dolby Atmos. And played my games via it. When I heard the sound of a character in my game. It literally felt like someone was actually there even though that real authentic audio was the game through the soundbar. The multi channels are amazing each demonstrating it's own independent audio output. Each channels speaker's enabled to customize i love that. You can even calibrate the audio when watching a movie to hear the individual voice more clear and at point. The subwoofer base is like having a bass drum beat right next to your ears. The display screen to the right is a nice touch. You could even customize the distance of the sound at your convenience if your room is small or large. Over all this device is a beast! Playing my my music Playlist through the soundbar is soo in my face i get nervous it might disrupt people in my home or neighbors. But the cool thing is that they have a feature for that where the audio stays in your room environment and not cause a disturbance with other people in the same area in my home. I think that option is called night audio not specifically sure. Over all Samsung made this soundbar unprecedented quality at a reasonable price in my opinion. Thank you SAMSUNG!.

This soundbar sounds like a home theather
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just picked up the Samsung HW-Q990D and wow—this thing rips. It’s like having a full-blown theater in my living room. The 11.1.4 channel setup? Insane. Dolby Atmos actually feels like it’s raining sound from above, and the bass—oh man, that subwoofer thumps. I threw on “Mad Max: Fury Road” and my walls were shaking (in a good way). Setup was a breeze, and it synced perfectly with my Samsung TV thanks to Q-Symphony. Even gaming on my PS5 feels richer with the directional sound. Downsides? The rear speakers sometimes feel a bit shy unless you crank the volume, and the price made my wallet cry a little. But honestly, if you love big sound without cluttering your room with speaker towers, the Q990D is king. Whether you're watching movies, blasting music, or deep in a game, this bar delivers punchy, room-filling audio that makes you grin every time it kicks in.

Great sound quality

When listen to music I would suggest switch it to front only as it seem to sound better. This can be done in smart things app. Syncs to TV great and no issues with setup. This is a great system. I had doubts but I messed with sound and setting I am happy with this it's great. Side speakers require plugs little bit on a con but I had outlets so it works for me.

Although it's a little pricey,i love the 11 channels that you get and how it makes the entire room sound like you're involved in the movie. with the subwoofer, you can feel the jets as you're watching top gun rumble your seat

Sound is amazing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Q990D Soundbar is connected to my Samsung QN90D85 tv in the living-room of my condo. The Q-Symphony function makes this soundbar sound amazing. It also has an adaptive sound function to adjust the sound for your particular living space.
The sub-woofer and rear speakers are connected by blue tooth so running wires was not required. A little pricey but worth it.

Living Room TV to Home Theater in Seconds
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This setup instantly turned my Q60D into an immersive home theater like none other. It’s totally changed the way my son and I watch TV together. We now look for movies and shows that have “cool, big sounds” as my 5 year old likes to call them. We don’t watch a ton of tv, but the few things we watch per week are so upleveled! Really great surround sound system!

From Bluetooth from my Samsung 23ultra or for streaming music from an app on the tv... to watching a great action packed movie or a kids movie with my son. The realistic sound from the Q Series sound system is packed full of unbelievably awesome powerful fullness. Really great for hosting parties or a nice calm evening of relaxing sounds. Just as any of the Samsung products, the Q series definitely does not disappoint and will continue to make Samsung my choice over and over again!
