The king of my Kitchen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Samsung Bespoke Microwave is basically the Boss of my House now
Look, I’m just gonna say it: the Samsung Bespoke (ME90H1780RAA) isn’t even a microwave anymore. It’s this high-tech monolith that moved into my kitchen and decided it’s in charge. Seriously, I’ve lived with this thing for a while and I’m pretty sure it’s more qualified to run a country than most people in Washington.
Anyway, here’s the breakdown of my life with this shiny, overachieving box of radiation:
It’s... actually gorgeous?
First off, the "Bespoke" look is a total trap. The design is so minimalist and sleek it makes my actual oven look like a literal dumpster with a window. No clunky buttons anywhere—just this glass touch-panel that’s smoother than my last three phones. It looks so high-end that I felt weirdly guilty and ended up deep-cleaning my entire kitchen just so the microwave wouldn't think it moved into a bad neighborhood.
The Air Fryer is a menace
This thing has a built-in air fryer. Which, honestly? Terrible for my health. I can take a soggy, sad pile of leftover fries and turn them into a crispy miracle in like three minutes. It’s dangerous. I’ve started looking at random stuff in the fridge—like Snickers bars—just wondering if I should air-fry them.
Total Identity Crisis
This machine doesn't know if it's a microwave, an oven, or a grill. It’s like the Swiss Army Knife of heat. I used that "Slim Fry" setting and for a solid ten minutes, I genuinely convinced myself I was eating "healthy" fried chicken. Total delusion, but it tasted great. It even has a grill rack, so now I’m "barbequing" in my socks on a random Tuesday night.
It’s judging my life choices
Since it’s "Smart," it’s hooked up to my Wi-Fi. My phone literally pings me to tell me the popcorn is done. Like, thanks tech—I’m standing three feet away, I can hear the popping, but I appreciate the digital sass.
Plus, with the SmartThings app, I can check on it while I’m at the store. I’ll just be standing in the checkout line like, "Oh, look at that, my microwave is currently sitting at home thinking about its life choices."
The Interior (The best part)
The inside is this blue ceramic enamel stuff. Cleaning it is actually kind of spooky. Usually, when a bowl of chili explodes, you need an exorcist and a power washer. With this, you just wipe it and the evidence is gone.

So many great features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Samsung Bespoke microwave has been a great addition to my kitchen. I personally love the look and style of it. My favorite part is the steamer basket that comes with it. It takes the guesswork out of steaming veggies and leaves me with a hassle free experience. It’s so quick and convenient when prepping foods for my family. I also like that it gives me notifications on my phone via the WiFi smart app. There’s so many features to still be discovered!

Samsung Nailed It
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the new Samsung Microwave for a few weeks now and absolutely love it. Not only is it obviously a microwave, but it steams and AIR FRIES too! This has enabled me to get rid of additional small appliances because I don’t need them anymore! It has also been very convenient to be able to control the microwave through the SmartThings app, so I don’t have to be right at there to watch it. I have been really impressed so far and look forward to finding out all of the other things this Samsung microwave can do!

Samsung Bespoke Smart Over-the-Range Microwave
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave appears to be well made and was easy to connect to the SmartThings app. I was impressed with the accessories that accompanied the microwave. These accessories included a steam bowl, short rack, tall rack and a ceramic enamal tray. The air fry option worked flawlessly on chicken nuggets and the steam bowl was great for tamales. There are some cook times provided on the unit, visible when the door is open. This was very handy being a new user (I didn't have to have the manual handy). When in use, it was extremely quiet in comparison to the old unit it replaced. The lights are bright and fan is also on the quieter side.

Awesome Prosuct
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been really impressed with this microwave so far. One of the first things I noticed is how quiet it is compared to others I’ve used before. It runs smoothly without that loud, distracting noise, which makes a big difference in my kitchen.
It also works really well overall. Everything heats evenly and quickly, and I haven’t had any issues with cold spots. I’ve tried a few different settings, including the air fry and convection features, and they’ve been convenient and easy to use. It’s nice being able to do more than just reheat food in one appliance.

Great addition to my kitchen

Having the air fryer built into the microwave is a game changer and takes away from needing another appliance. Which is a great way to save space and pretty good idea. Of course it has all the usual microwave features. Awesome multifunction microwave
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave it’s not just a microwave, now you can even bake in it! Yes, it comes with a conventional oven function with a grill included, so your meals won’t turn out soggy when using just the microwave.
Another excellent addition is the Air Fry option, you’ll see in the box quite a few accessories to use with all the different cooking options.
One of the best things about it is the easiness to clean it, since it’s right above the range it tends to get dirty really fast, but it is faster to have it cleaned!
Also the ability to start the oven from the comfort of your phone thanks to the smart things app it’s super convenient!

Functional, Elegant and Smart
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had an older Samsung microwave that we needed to replace. We had been looking for a while to make a worthy upgrade. Something smarter and more functional. We looked through quite a few options and decided this was it. I was most excited about the smart functions. This thing can basically cook for itself and then send you a notification when it's done. I work from home so often I'll go inside, start a meal and then go back to work until I get the notification that the food is done.
Another cool feature is that I can set the lights to turn on with the rest of my smart home. It's like having undercabinet lights. Really makes the kitchen look fancy at night.
I have a little bit of a hard time with the fingerprints, but it's not much worse than anything else. Mostly, it's due to the finish we chose. I could also due with being able to set different tones for the reminders on the microwave.

Nice looking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one nice looking microwave. Looks very slick, you don’t get many complements about your microwave! This has additional air fry functionality. I have two big air fryers and while this one doesn’t seem to be as powerful, it gets the job done and saves lots of space. I haven’t figured out but it would be great if I can “combo” the commands, for example run microwave for 5 minutes and then run air fry mode at 400F for 4 minutes. I tried cooking frozen food this way and it turned out pretty great. The microwave cooks fast and the air fryer mode makes the outside crispy. There are so many functions i wish it included a comprehensive features and few cool ideas. I love this microwave. One minor gripe, the buttons are on the door and the door has slight gap so every time I press button the door hits against the main body. A bit annoying but I got used to it eventually. Overall highly recommended.

Master of all trades
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the Samsung Bespoke OTR Microwave (the 1780RAA model) installed for a bit now, and I’m genuinely impressed. Usually, these "all-in-one" appliances are a jack-of-all-trades and master of none, but Samsung actually nailed it with this one.
First off, it’s gorgeous. I went with the Stainless Steel, and it looks incredibly high-end. It doesn't have that bulky, "plastic-y" look of a traditional microwave. The glass touch controls are on the bottom of the door, which makes it look super sleek and honestly makes way more sense ergonomically when you're reaching up to press buttons.
The "Air Fry Max" is the feature I use the most. I was skeptical about whether a microwave could actually get things crispy, but it really does. Being able to air fry a batch of wings or fries without taking up counter space with a separate bulky air fryer is a total win. Plus, the grill option is a game-changer for leftovers—it actually re-crisps pizza and sandwiches instead of turning them into soggy rubber.
I’ve started using the SmartThings app to send cooking instructions to it, which felt a bit "extra" at first, but it’s actually really convenient when I'm multitasking. Also, the ceramic interior is a lifesaver. Everything wipes right off, so I don't have to spend twenty minutes scrubbing splattered sauce.
Verdict: If you’re doing a kitchen refresh and want something that actually adds value to how you cook (and looks like a million bucks), this is it. It’s easily the most "useful" upgrade I’ve made in my home lately. 10/10 would recommend!

All in one microwave
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Who knew microwave's technology had improved so much in such short time? Who knew microwaves job was no longer simply reheat food? Well this new appliance does so much that is taking me some time to learn it. You can not only reheat but also, cook, you can auto cook or steam cook, you can defrost but it's also a convection oven and you can bake, you can grill or simply keep your food warm. But one of my favorite additions is the air fryer, it is one less appliance taking precious space in my kitchen and this one does a great job.
The design is clean, modern, futurist and goes really well with my also brand new stove. It's a beautiful addition to my kitchen and makes an enormous difference, all my friends and family notice how nice everything looks now.
As far as functionality, while I'm still learning some of it, it works great, it's very quiet and you get a booklet that tells you how to cook and what accessories to use depending what you are doing, because yes, it also comes with multiple accessories to ultimately get the best results.
As I mentioned it is a smart appliance, so you can monitor, get notifications and manage it from the smart things app on your phone.
I love my new microwave and I highly recommend it too!

So Many Features

Nuke it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave is so nice looking! It fits perfectly and has plenty of space inside to cook a good amount of food. I like that it came with a steaming bowl and the rack for doing air bake. I bought this microwave mainly for that feature. I can air bake and not heat up the whole house by using the oven. The air-bake works faster as well. The reheat sensor works nice for leftovers and does a good job identifiying how long it should cook. The LED light on the bottom creates a nice white glow in the kitchen and is a nice touch.

Easy to use and gets the job done
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this microwave pretty much every day and it’s been super easy to use. I mostly use it to heat up my leftovers and cook quick meals, but I've tried the air fry feature a few times and it turned out better than I expected. The sensor cook feature was also nice because I don't have to guess how long to heat something up for (there's even a little cheat sheet on the microwave itself with all the items).
I honestly didn't think a microwave needed the internet or an app, but getting a notification when my food is done has been cool, and so is the option to turn the fan and lights on and off from my phone.
It fits well above the stove, the light is helpful when cooking, and it cleans up pretty quickly. This microwave checks all the boxes for me; nothing fancy, it just works, and I would recommend this.

More useful than I expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this microwave for a bit now and it’s been a great upgrade. It has an "air fryer" mode that I've actually used more than I thought I would, so it's free'd up space on my counter where my old air fryer used to be. The air fryer feature works fairly well and gives food a decent amount of air fryer crispiness. The controls on this microwave are easy enough to use, especially the sensor cook feature, so I'm not left guessing the best time for leftovers.
As a techie person, I really like that this microwave also connects to the internet and the SmartThings app. Since I have a Samsung stove as well, the two "talk" to each other, and the fan will turn on and off automatically when I use the stove. That wasn't something I thought I'd really use, but I kinda miss the feature when I use someone else's stove.
The microwave also has all the basic features you'd find on similar models like a powerful fan and lights to light up your stove area. You can also control both features through the app which is pretty cool.
Overall, I would highly recommend this microwave.

Super Modern Microwave with built in Air Fryer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave is seriously awesome! It was a very needed upgrade, as we were still using the microwave that came with the house...23 years ago! First off, the design of the microwave is gorgeous and modern, it looks amazing in our kitchen. I guess my one complaint is that it is a fingerprint magnet! You'll have to clean it almost daily to keep up that shiny appearance. This microwave is jam packed with modern, smart features. Right after installation, when they had the microwave plugged in, I was able to open up the Smart Things app and get it connected with the app and other appliances in the house. That process was a breeze, quick and easy! We were super curious about the air fryer first and foremost. We've had our shar of air fryers, both good and bad, so we wanted to see how a microwave air fryer would stack up. I can tell you, the performance is amazing! It's up there with some of our more pricey dedicated air fryers. And of course, it microwaves well too.
Overall, this is a huge upgrade for us. It looks amazing and is so packed with useful and smart features that I would not be against calling it a nearly perfect microwave. Maybe put a fingerprint resistant layer and you could call it nearly perfect! I highly recommend this if you are looking for a smart upgrade that performs well and lives up to the promises it makes!

Sleek new addition to my kitchen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the 1.7 cu ft. Bespoke Smart Over-the-Range Microwave with Air Fry Max & Convection in Stainless Steel and have been loving it. It is such an upgrade to my old microwave. I love that the outside is very sleek, one line, as the whole front is the door. The microwave has so many features I have not even tried them all yet.
The overall microwave option is greats it has cooked all my food quickly and evenly.
I also tried the air fry mode to cook fries and broccoli. They came out crispy just as I like them. I love that I can use my microwave as an air fryer and not have to have a separate bulky device.
Overall I’m super impressed with this microwave and would recommend to anyone looking for an upgrade.

Smart, Space Saving Upgrade for my Kitchen

Great Microwave
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently replaced an older over-the-range microwave with the Samsung Bespoke 1.7 cu. ft. Smart Over-the-Range Microwave with Air Fry Max and Convection and it’s been a really nice upgrade so far.
My delivery included installation service, and the installer had the old microwave out and the new one mounted in under 30 minutes. It helped that the size and mounting setup matched my previous unit almost perfectly, so it was basically a direct swap. Considering how much more this microwave can do compared to the basic one it replaced, I was impressed with how quick and painless the install was.
The design was one of the reasons I chose it. I already have a few Samsung Bespoke appliances in the kitchen, and this microwave matches them really well. The look is sleek and modern without feeling flashy, and it blends in nicely with the rest of the kitchen.
Within a few minutes I had it connected to Wi-Fi and added to the Samsung SmartThings app. I mostly wanted notifications and the ability to check energy usage, and it was surprisingly simple to get that working.
As a microwave, it’s spacious and very straightforward to use. The interior fits larger dishes easily and the controls are intuitive, which is honestly all I really want when I’m just heating something up quickly.
It also comes with several attachments for grilling, convection cooking, and air frying. I haven’t tried the Air Fry Max feature yet, but I’m looking forward to giving it a shot and hopefully freeing up some counter space by getting rid of my separate air fryer.

Very Impressed

Great Microwave

Great multifunction microwave, learning curve
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave is a great multifunctional appliance. The air fry option is amazing, but it does seem to take a bit more time than what is specified on products as well as on the auto features. The control panel shows every fingerprint, which is a bit disappointing, as it always looks dirty. The stainless portions also don't see to be fingerprint resistant. Despite those things, the dark interior is much nicer than the normal white interior that shows every single speck of any food. The accessories that came with it are amazing, and I look forward to be able to purchase the air fry tray that Samsung is releasing to be used with it. I really like the convection option as well, so as not to heat up the entire oven for small items. Their is a learning curve with understanding how to use the auto cook features, but once you take time to learn how to use the features, it's an exceptional appliance.
