Game Changer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had been wanting a soundbar to upgrade our living room viewing experience and boy is this the one! Not only did it take me less than ten minutes to set up and have working, but it packs an immersive punch to anything you watch. Our tv sits close to our mantel so having a sllim soundbar makes it fit perfectly where I didn't think other soundbars would ever work for us. Our remote that we already us for our tv picked up with the connected item so there's also no need to use 3 or more remotes just to do volume, channels, etc. The True Dolby Atmos sound makes the immersiveness of the sound on another level that makes it seem like you're at the movies in your own home. The voice adapter is a big deal as well. I always hate watching a movie and the action is super loud and then you can't hear a talking scene. This adapter helps take care of that so you aren't messing with the volume throughout your viewing. I highly recommend this soundbar and can't wait to entertain with this hooked up!

Big sound in a slim package
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! The Samsung S800D blew me away. I wanted the sound of something better than TV speakers but also aesthetically pleasing. Here meets the S800D. The voices are crisp, music sounds great! If you have a compatible Samsung TV; you can have the best of both worlds with something known as Q-symphony. It combines the soundbar and Tv speakers into a beautiful immersive sounding experience. Another feature which really sets this soundbar above and beyond is active voice amplifier.
Picture this, let’s say you are watching a show or movie with high background noise and the characters are talking. By having AVA on it will pickup on the noise and amplify the characters taking; so no dialogue is potentially lost and you don’t need to question what was said. The clarification of dialogue allows me to focus on the show without missing any exciting action.
If you’re a gamer like my kids are, take advantage of Samsung’s game mode which is found in this soundbar. It provides more immersion and uses the up firing speakers for more intense sound effects from your gaming if you have the latest systems.
If music is more your thing, it offers chrome cast and airplay support which provides better quality than your average Bluetooth connection as well Spotify connect.
If you have a compatible Samsung phone you can tap the soundbar and your music will automatically switch over.
Want to control your smart TV with your voice or pause your music? The soundbar also as voice assistant capability freeing up needing to get another device.
I highly recommend this soundbar. So many features packed into a slim package!

Super sleek, and great sound!

I was a bit hesitant to add a sound bar to my space at first since I worried that it would look too clunky, but this soundbar is unbelievably slim and sleek, and looks wonderful! It's definitely the smallest soundbar I've owned. But even though the soundbar is slim, it still has amazing audio with booming sound. I also have never used Samsung's Q-Symphony before, but wow was it incredible - the soundbar connects to the TV speakers, playing sound from both to create a very immersive, surround sound experience. I kept switching between the TV speakers only and then Q-Symphony to compare, and it really is no contest - It really kicked the audio up to a whole other level.
I also love how easily the soundbar connects to other devices. It has built in Chromecast that I use every single day to play music, and it connects so quickly and effortlessly. It can also connect via wifi and bluetooth, so there are plenty of options to get connected. And the best part - I have a Samsung Frame TV and used to be disappointed that I couldn't play music while having artwork displayed, but this soundbar has been the perfect solution. I can now cast my music to the soundbar and keep my artwork up - it definitely elevates the space!

First Time Quality Soundbar User, Won't Go Back!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first time using a higher end soundbar and it fits our new entertainment setup perfectly with great audio quality that fills the space.
From the initial unboxing the setup was straight forward and intuitive. I was able to quickly place and run cabling for the soundbar. From unboxing to audio test was about 10 minutes. Connecting to a Samsung tv the soundbar was immediately detected which streamlined the process. I even swapped to Bluetooth and back as a test.
Our plan was to set the bar on our entertainment center with the tv mounted above. The low profile really makes the aesthetic work, and the included cabling made for a no hassle run that looks clean.
The sound is awesome, it's been used for general viewing, movies, gaming, and music. Our house is an open living to kitchen/dining concept and the audio at 50-70% is more than enough for the approximately 500 sq ft. I've played with the setting profiles on the bar along with the Q-symphony, Spacefit, game mode, and adaptive sound and each really bring the sound profiles forward for what they are intended. Adaptive is great at night when others are sleeping, the q-symphony adds a whole different dynamic to the experience, and Spacefit helped overall with the shape of the space we were using it in.
I highly recommend this bar for anyone looking to take the plunge into the soundbar world as I now have no intentions of ever going back!

Definitely an upgrade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, I decided to purchase this soundbar to replace an old soundbar that was at least 10 years old. The Samsung S800D is the model that I chose because I felt that it was a more advanced model and figured I should upgrade to the best one.
What caught my eye is the slim design and how nice it looks. It has features such as wireless connection, Bluetooth connection, and HDMI connection. So, for Bluetooth, it does not have a delay in connection with my Samsung TV, which was nice coming right out of the box. I also decided to connect it via Wi-Fi, and it worked very well. I knocked it down a star because I noticed that in comparison to both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, I decided to connect it directly via HDMI, and ultimately, the sound was far better than Wireless The base sound was very rich via Bluetooth and drowned the Voice in comparison with HDMI connectivity. That is why I knocked it down a star. Overall, I would recommend this soundbar if you want a richer sound since it is a better experience when watching shows or movies. The price point is a bit high and might sway a person to purchase different brands in comparison to this one.
