Solid performer - great upgrade for us
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are a year into our ownership and would recommend this to anyone. The size was perfect for us and the performance has been very solid. My only recommendation to Samsung would be a software update to stop the fan from being turned on while the door is open. We have accidental turn on too often.

A beautiful addition to our Samsung appliances!

Along with our new Samsung Fridge, slide-in induction range and dishwasher, we are extremely happy with this purchase. This microwave has plenty of room for everything we need, and it works great. We love the slim look as well.

Great addition to my kitchen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this microwave it is really large on the inside as well heats up a full bowl of food in a minute and a half love the plus 30 seconds button too my old microwave I had to stop and reset it to change the timer

Nice features
Great product. Once take time to install well . In our case the installer missed to add the plates at the from top vent - later the installer called to fix. Now it is working very well. Less noise. So make sure have the professional installer through samsung.

It was a risk, but worth it!!! EVERYTHING FITS!!!!

In our just purchased home the previous microwave's fan did not do the job of exhausting from the cooktop. I added an overhang but even though it improved the exhausting it now made for a cumbersome approach when placing anything in the microwave.
This new "slim" OTR microwave took care of all our problems!!!
The 4-speed exhaust takes care of all the cooktop cooking. By being "slim" it allows for more room between the cooktop and the bottom of the microwave.
And being shorter is still not the problem we thought we'd have.
Lastly, the brighter lights make all cooking on the cooktop viewable with no issues.
I highly (HIGHLY!!!) suggest this microwave for anyone who is having the issues that I mentioned above.

Stylish and quiet unit.

Really nice looking, functions well, rather quiet fan on the lower setting of the hood and very quiet microwave operation. Opened significant space above the range compared ti the previous standard-profile one. Pairs with Samsung range to run the fan automatically when the range turn on. Had friends asking what model it is -- and ordering too.

Great microwave at half the size

It fits just about any plate or bowl that a conventional microwave would fit so there is no need to concern about size. Love the space savings! Sleek design and powerful. Controls does take some learning as there are no preset cook or reheat buttons so you have to go through the menu. I would definitely buy again.

Great microwave
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased this microwave, and I really like it! Its shallow design is great because it gives me more space above the range. The only minor issue I've noticed is that when you’re using the timer, it sometimes hides the remaining time, and I have to go into the timer menu to check it. Other than that, I'm very happy with my purchase. Overall, a great microwave!

No problems using the slim design compared to our old larger model. The lighting is adjustable and lights our stove nicely. Last but not least, the fan works very well for a micro/fan combination.

Almost Perfect

I did not have a lot of room between the stovetop and the microwave with the old style microwave and this has made a huge difference. It works great with plenty of extra functions. One thing that is a flaw, the bottom right corner of the door is the fan switch, which I manage to turn on every time I open and shut the door.
