The cooktop was installed today. Working as expected. 2x faster to heat. Extremely easy to clean. Looks way more pleasing than my old gas cooktop. This is my second purchase of induction cooktop, and I am glad I made the purchase.

We had an induction cooktop before we moved to another home with an electric cooktop. We cooked on it less than a week and could not stand it. We missed our induction cooktop. We have other Samsung products and they have always been a good buy for us. We chose the Samsung induction cooktop for the features and the price. We love induction because it provides precise temperature control and it heats up quickly. The controls on this model are very easy to use and we love that it has a timer and is Wifi enabled. It has four burners which is more than enough. We love Samsung products for the quality and durability. If you are looking for an induction cooktop give this one a try. You won't be disappointed! Great cooktop!
I've been enjoying the 30" smart induction cooktop. The food cooks much faster than when I was using an electric cooktop.
I like the touch controls on the cooktop; food cannot get under the knobs, making it much easier to clean. The controls are also intuitive to use.
The power boost feature is attractive, and I wonder if it provides enough power boost for wok cooking.
The only downside I can think of is if you're using a wok, which has a smaller diameter bottom, you'd need to put it on one of the smaller burners, which are located on the sides, so your range hood would not fully cover the area above the wok. On the model with more features, flex zone is also to the side and not in the middle. I wish they had added a circular flex zone in the middle.

Induction Cooktop
I purchased this induction cooktop to replace an electric cooktop. It was easy to install. It actually only took my husband about 20 minutes, but the opening in our countertop from our old electric cooktop was the perfect size and we had wiring to the area from the previous cooktop. This induction cooktop does not have all the bells and whistles of some induction cooktops, but it is very reasonable priced and it is a definite upgrade from and electric cooktop. It is amazing how fast it can boil water and I love the simmer function. Samsung had an offer when I purchased this for a free 6 piece set of cookware. In order to get that, I need to write a review. I usually write reviews anyways because I often refer to them when making a major purchase. So, "I received compensation for this review but the review is my own”.* With that said, even if I did not get the free cookware, I would recommend this product. If you have never had a glass cooktop before, I would recommend that you immediately clean off any spills on the cooktop and I have found that Weiman Glass Cook Top Cleaner and Polish works great. You can get covers to go over your cooktop if you are like me and like to use that area for addition food prep. I was going to include a picture, but it will not let me for some reason.

Beautiful, sleek Looking induction cooktop
The new cooktop was installed a couple of days ago, replacing our 66 year old fold-away electric coil burners. I have previously used portable induction burners so I am familiar with induction technology and already have a collection of suitable pots. I find the controls on this cooktop intuitive, although the temperature adjustment slider takes getting used to. Overall, I am very pleased with the cooktop. Energy efficient and SmartThings
I was in the market to replace my old Jennair electric radiant cooktop. Since I have replaced all of my appliances with Samsung, I thought of getting Samsung electric radiant cooktop as all my Samsung appliances have SmartThings. I went ahead a bought electric radiant cooktop. Before it was delivered, I realized that radiant cooktops aren't as responsive to the temperature changes as gas or inductions. Since this model fits the exact cutout as electric radiant cooktop, I returned the electric radiant cooktop and got the induction. All I can say is I love it. As a bonus, it is much energy efficient that the former one.

Great Product, Great Price
Made the switch to induction. This model fit the existing opening from my 30 year old electric cooktop perfectly. the electric pigtail was on the opposite side so had to move the junction box, but still pretty easy to install.
