Really works.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great vent hood. Replaced my microwave vent hood with this. Actually sucks the smoke out. I like how the lights are in front and lights up the space. Motor is quite, the highest setting is quieter than the lowest setting on my old microwave.
Like other reviews it is missing the Samsung label.

Great hood
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this for about a month and it works great. We picked this model because everything in our kitchen is Samsung and wanted this one so it matched and said samsung. The only disappointing part is it does not say samsung like picture shows. I know it sounds petty but everything in our kitchen says samsung and if we knew it wasn't going to say it we could have went with a different brand.

Low quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product does feel like high quality. Outside is just steel rough to the feel. Inside is just a fan to suck air out. The power you can not just plug in to the outlet. Ventilation is not strong as well. You will need an electrician for the new power connection

Filter is $208+ USD
The filter is $208+ each in the US. Each hood needs 2 in the recirc configuration. These are not reusable and they are not provided with the hood, according to the specs.
