Smart mode is fantastic
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the hood! I HATE the sound of fans, and this one is quiet, and more importantly, effective. Smart mode ensures that it only runs as high as is necessary. We have sensitive smoke detectors, and haven't had a single false alarm since installing. I also love the low profile of the fan, and the lighting is nice and bright.

Under cabinet mounting with granite backsplash.
Excellent product, very nice and quiet. Installed under cabinet with minor modification of cabinet and under cabinet area include cutting granite backsplash (see attached pictures).

Can't mute the beeps
Pros:
* Looks great
* Vents well
Cons:
* Can't mute the annoying chime sound that plays when turning on and off
* Integrated LED is a daylight white, which clashes with a warm white in other parts of my kitchen.
