The Best Smart cooktop out there!
We just bought this smart gas cooktop for my parents a few weeks ago and we’re in love with it. The cooking temperature is amazing and the build quality is superb. We bought it mainly for its smart integration features and they don’t disappoint. My parents are elderly now and I have a fear of them leaving a burner on and going to sleep, but with this cooktop thats a thing of the past. Besides the fact I can check if a burner is left on right from the app, I programmed several routines to alert us to our smartphones if a burner has been left on for different durations. I even get alerts on my Samsung Bespoke fridge on the family hub. If you don’t carry your phone around the house, each knob has an individual blue LED to alert anyone which burner is on at a glance. This is exactly what we were looking for and would recommend 100%. On a side note the WIFI/bluetooth transmitter sticks out about 2 inches from the back of the unit, so make sure you have enough clearance behind the cooktop to accommodate for it. You can remove it and it does have a cover to replace it, but for us that would have defeated the purpose for which we bought it. We did have a granite backsplash about an inch behind our old one that we had to alter to make it fit, but it was totally worth it!

Great Stove Top

Awesome cooktop!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this installed a couple of weeks ago and absolutely love it! First upgrade since we had the home built 19 years ago. Love the 5 burners over 4 and be sure to read all the material especially the size of pots or pans you can place on the front burners. They show that you can only place a 10" pot or pan on those 2 burners as anything larger will most like damage the control knobs! Glad I read them all. I did buy the extended warranty as well but as of now I don't expect to have to use it! One other bit of advice I received from the installer was to pick up the grates using the front and back of them. He said even though they look really rugged that the smaller parts of the grates closest to the burner can break off if you pick them up by those. Also only use soap and water to clean any part of the cooktop. Anything else will apparently ruin the surfaces so just be careful. Read the manual! :-) Otherwise just enjoy the cooktop! It's a great upgrade and really nice to look at!

Amazing features! Excited for this cooktop.

I love how the knobs are illuminated and the smart feature is a plus. My daughters are learning to cook and I feel very safe they can learn and use this cooktop. Samsung Gas Cooktop

Love the blue light up knobs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an old electric coil cooktop before and have always wanted a gas cooktop. The unit is very attractive and allows me to control the heat to a much finer level. The double burner in the center is much faster when I am trying to boil a large pot of water for pasta. Cooking is more enjoyable!
The only downside is that I have figure out how best to set the heat for various dishes. I had used my old electric cooktop for 35 years and knew it like the back of my hand. It's going to be fun getting to know this new gas cooktop!
I don't have a use for the smart features yet.
The light up knobs are cool and also a safety feature, lets you know when it's on.

Great design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife decided on new granite and cook top, and displaced an older Thermador top. Very nice, easy to clean design. Very attractive when installed. The online (Smarthings) feature doesn't do much but indicate off and on. So I am not sure if this feature is needed. Unless of course, you check if you left to burner on for some reason. Price similar to other top of the line cook tops.. Overall, my wife is happy, so I am happy.

The best cook top ever

The burner knobs glow blue when on so you know it's on. I especially love the fact that it has the 5th burner in the center. Great for large pots.
