Delivers Big on Size and Quality
I’ve had the Samsung 85” QE1D for about a month now, and it’s honestly been a game-changer for our living room. The size alone is immersive — it feels like having a theater screen at home. If you're upgrading from anything under 75”, the jump in screen real estate is seriously noticeable, especially for movies and sports.
Picture quality is where this TV really shines. The QLED panel delivers vibrant colors and sharp contrast, even during the daytime when we have natural light coming in. Blacks aren’t quite OLED-deep, but they’re still solid and don’t look washed out. HDR content pops, and gaming on this thing is next-level. I’ve been playing on a PS5, and the low input lag combined with the huge display makes it a blast.
The built-in speakers are okay — they get the job done for casual viewing, but if you’re picky about sound, you’ll definitely want a soundbar or a home theater system. The TV supports eARC, so hooking that up was simple.
Smart features are fast and responsive. Samsung’s Tizen OS runs smooth, and the major streaming apps load quickly. One minor gripe is the remote — it’s minimalistic, which is fine, but the layout takes a bit to get used to.
Overall, if you’re looking for a big-screen experience without going full OLED pricing, the QE1D hits a sweet spot. Gorgeous visuals, solid smart features, and an 85” screen that really transforms your space. Worth every penny.

Excellent Picture!
My wife has an older Samsung plasma TV that we have upstairs and l’d always marveled at the picture quality. When our living room TV died, l bought a 65” QLED that fit our TV hutch perfectly. We love it - nothing else compares for color quality and sharpness.

So good, I bought two
I purchased one of the 32 inch tv’s for the bedroom and it was easy setup, great picture. I liked it so much, I purchased a second tv for my daughters room. Both my wife and daughter love the tv. They have a great picture and love the internet connection capability. The apps are easy to use and they use them a lot. Great buy.

Big screen, big picture
My family really loves our new Samsung 65" Class Q60D Series QLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV. The picture is crystal clear. The remote control is intuitive to use and allows us to enjoy the full range of features our tv has. We were able to have the Samsung Home theater sytem added for mind blowing audio when watching movies.

When my 16 year old 46" Sony Bravia LCD television started giving the color stripes of death I started researching for a replacement. After a few days I narrowed my choices down to another Sony and the Samsung. I still have a Samsung 19" LCD PC monitor that I purchased new in 2008 and a 5 year old Samsung 860 EVO SSD and 2 year old Samsung 870 EVO SSD drives that are all working flawlessly. Choosing the Samsung QLED was a no-brainer. I thought the old Sony had a good picture but the Samsung blows it away. The QLED integrates nicely with an Amazon Fire TV Cube and an AirTV Anywhere with Sling Orange for streaming and local channels. I use the QLED with a VESA pedestal stand so I could continue to use my ZVOX SoundBase 440.
