At the time, my room felt small, routine, predictable — the same four walls, the same desk, the same ceiling. But the moment I powered it on, everything changed. My blank wall became a universe. My ceiling became a night sky. My space, which once felt limited, suddenly felt infinite.
What struck me wasn’t just the picture quality or portability — it was the freedom. The ability to project anywhere, anytime, turned ordinary moments into events. Movie nights were no longer confined to a television in the living room; they became immersive experiences that transformed my entire room. A simple evening could feel like sitting in a private theater, wrapped in color, light, and sound.
But the true magic revealed itself with gaming.
Gaming had always been something I did. With The Freestyle, it became something I felt. The massive, vivid display didn’t just show my games — it pulled me inside them. Worlds felt larger. Details felt sharper. Every movement, every environment, every moment carried a new intensity. It didn’t feel like playing on a screen anymore. It felt like stepping into another reality.

Years Later and Still Love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned The Freestyle 2nd Gen for about 3–4 years and have genuinely loved it. It’s been incredibly versatile — perfect for travel, outdoor movie nights, and quick setups anywhere in the house. The brightness and projection quality have always impressed me for such a compact device, and it’s super easy to adjust and reposition.
Would give it 4.5 stars instead of 5 because one of the plastic screws that attaches the projector to the base eventually broke, so I can’t securely attach it anymore. That said, this happened after several years of use, and the projector itself still works perfectly.
Overall, it’s been a fantastic little projector, and I’m excited to see what the next updated model brings.

It's fantastic for casual, laid-back gaming.delivers sharp 1080p with decent colors, but the brightness is just "okay". For the best results, you definitely need a dark room.It's much faster than the first generation, which was a huge, much-needed upgrade.The built-in 360-degree speaker is surprisingly good, but I prefer a Bluetooth speaker for better, louder sound, especially outside. This is a fantastic "jack-of-all-trades" for flexible, fun, on-the-go entertainment and casual gaming, though I wouldn't call it a replacement for a serious, high-end gaming setup.

Lan at a buddies house cool ill bring my own tv and ps5 play it right off the wall. When i go to the beach or camping i put a screen attached with magnets on my car then watch movies at night. Endless free movies with samsung tv.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This projector is 100% better then the last it has a gaming hub!!! All my games are in one place for me to choose from. The projector gets bright enough for a relatively low lit room. It connects seamlessly with my phone and tablet. Casting my tablet using Dex is amazing. It works as a home hub so I can see every device and interact with it effortlessly. But the highlight of the device is the game hub. I can stream games from my PC, and Xbox with little to no latency. Best purchase I've made in a long time. I had the 1st Gen before this and after about a year the light started to go out. So I replaced it with the 2nd Gen and ever since ive had no problems. It's lasted a very long time. I rate this product 10/10 I would definitely buy again especially a 3rd Gen.

Awesome product design all around.

I like the color, the expandable battery, the many options for connecting together different devices. Its fast and smooth and the brightness is just right for semi lit rooms. The best projector I've ever owned. ❤️
