Best soundbar system
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally bought a Sonos soundbar thinking it would be the best option, especially for the higher price. Honestly, I ended up returning it after trying the Samsung soundbar — and I’m so glad I did. The Samsung delivers way better sound clarity and bass for a much more reasonable price. It’s super easy to set up, connects seamlessly with my TV, and just feels more balanced overall. Wayyy better and definitely more economical. Highly recommend if you want great sound without overpaying.

Amazing sound and easy to setup
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sound system is paired with our OLED tv and when playing Dolby Atmos movies or programs, it really immerses you into the environment. Not only does it work great with movies and shows, it also sounds wonderful when streaming music from Spotify. The subwoofer in this set is powerful, but I’m looking forward to adding in another eventually.
The gaming mode helps reduce any sound lag, and the surround sound works similarly to my gaming headsets, so I can hear others approaching or shooting from various directions.
Setup was simple, and the HDMI eArc works seamlessly with my TV, no matter whether my inputs are connected to the TV or through the soundbar pass through. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase.

Absolute best soundbar combo product!

Booming bass, clear center channel, convincing overhead effects (for a soundbar), solid rear outputs, lots of customization available in the app. It does disconnect from the app frequently which requires it to be "re-added" but not a deal-breaker. No drop-outs of satellites that I've noticed.

Q series 11.1.4ch speaker system

The ‘wireless’ rear speakers and subwoofer (but wired for power) eliminates most annoying wires. Have NOT lost Bluetooth with main speaker. Music, sports and non surround content all sound good.

Excellent system!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great surround sound system. This system replaces a Vizio 5.1 wireless surround sound of that turned out to be so bad that I just threw it in the trash. The sound on that unit was okay but it continuously had a popping and cracking sounds on two different units that I tried. Unboxing was a good experience and a setup was very simple. There are power cords for the two surround speakers, the subwoofer, and the sound bar. Everything is wireless. I have my PlayStation 5 and Nvidia shield connected to the soundbar with HDMI 2.1 and a HDMI 2.1 cable ( provided ) via Arc. Most all configuration was pretty automatic. I still need to it gets stands to place the speakers properly and use the app to properly tune it using a microphone. So far I am very satisfied with this quality system.

The volume and clarity is key
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Switched from Sonos. The volume and clarity in the Q990D won me over. High ceilings and open layout make Atmos height difficult with any speaker but this comes the closest to giving me the feel. The open layout and large room gets filled nicely with the Q990D. I can hear the rears do their job and the center is clear and accurate. The bass, ohhhhh the bass, makes it feel like I’m in a theatre, clear and boomy, and I can “feel” it. Overall very good.

Theater quality sound

The first few months I had it I was like sounds pretty good but something seemed off, well I didn't have one.of the setting correct user error totally my fault. When I fixed the setting omg I was blown out of the water the dolby atmos is amazing everything from the sunwoffer to the rear speakers and soundbar was crystal clear the explosions rocked the house and the car chases feels like your actually there. Best choice i ever made buying this system the fiancé thinks it's to much but she isn't a movie need or gamer, also listening to Spotify for music sounds fantastic it's a must but you will definitely not be dissapointed.

Absolutely a game changer for my home theater
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started my home theater journey with getting a 120 inch 4K projector and ALR wall screen and I thought that would be enough. And it was gorgeous... but I didn't have surround sound and my speakers didn't have that rumbling bass that you get in a theater. It just felt flat. Action scenes just didn't have "it" and it still didn't feel like a theater. And I was trying to recreate the full theater experience at home to enjoy ALL of my movies, shows, and video games like I was actually in a theater.
So I did a TON of research and since I wasn't in the market to run surround sound wires all over my living room and through the walls I decided on a wireless sound bar system. There are many out there but almost every review stated the Q990D was the best.
So I bit the bullet and was hoping it would get me closer to the theater experience. Well I was wrong. It wasn't close to a theater experience. IT WAS THE THEATER EXPERIENCE!
The surround sound is amazing and the bass is sooo powerful! I had to decide between putting the subwoofer behind the couch to right side, or in the front corner to the right of the screen. Behind the couch gave that seat shaking movie theater feel, but the front gave a much more powerful sounding bass and rumble so I went with that placement.
The app also lets you fine tune channels and settings which really helps with shows and movies with messed up voice volumes.
The picture is with the lights on so you can see the speaker placement.
10/10 speakers

The Sound produced by this Q990D Soundbar is FIRE!

The sound that they produce is incredible! I would personally put it up against much more expensive and more tricky to install Home Theater Setups with top notch speakers and multiple thousand dollar Receivers!

This system features a massive 11.1.4-channel setup—that’s eleven front and side-firing speakers, one powerful subwoofer, and four up-firing channels that bounce sound off the ceiling for that cinematic Dolby Atmos feel. Best of the best
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded to HW-Q990b from the HW-Q850T, and it was a massive upgrade in audio fidelity. 1 ran the Q850T for approx 3 years with a 2020 ON75 Samsung TV for the QSymphony and "Dolby Atmos" compatability. Unfortunately, the Atmos effect was quite underwhelming, and I just didn't hear any upward firing drivers for overhead sound.
Iread several different reviews that convinced me to upgrade to the Q990b series a few weeks ago, and am quite happy I did. Dialogue is more crisp, and the Dolby Atmos effect is now very noticeable.
One can adjust the individual levels of the upward, side, and wide firing drivers on the main bar and the rear satellites. The rear speakers are now individually powered, and they make their presence known. Unfortunately, the power cables are short and need a nearby outlet if you dont want to run an extension cord.
The complete manual is not included though, and must be downloaded. It suggests placing the subwoofer along the same wall as the soundbar, which actually solved my previous problem of the rear speakers losing connectivity at times.
I used to have the subwoofer placed in the corner on the opposite wall when I ran the Q850t. Another TV in a nearby room seemed to affect the rear connectivity whenever it was on, as random disconnects became annoyingly frequent when the tv was on. The issue seemed to resolve when the tv was off.
Iwas very annoyed when the Q990b experienced the same issue, until I relocated the subwoofer to the same wall as the sound
