[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve been using the Samsung sound bar with the woofer and rear speakers as our main setup for the living room TV, and honestly, it’s been a total game changer for us. From the very first movie night, the difference in sound was incredible. The surround effect makes you feel like you’re right in the middle of the action, and the bass from the woofer is so powerful that it adds a whole new level to everything we watch or listen to. Even when we’re just watching regular TV shows, the dialogue comes through so clear that we never have to rewind to catch what someone said.
Setting it up was a breeze, too. I was a little worried it might be complicated, but the instructions were super clear and we had everything up and running in no time. The wireless connections for the rear speakers are a huge plus—no messy wires running across the room! It also connects easily to our other devices, so we can play music from our phones whenever we have friends over.
The sound easily fills our whole living room, making movie nights with family or just hanging out with friends so much more fun. Plus, the design is sleek and modern, so it fits right in with our decor without sticking out.
What really surprised us is how affordable this system is for what you get. It's half the price for similar quality of the competition.

Better than Bose

Has absolutely exceeded my expectations and is definitely better than the Bose system I thought about buying glad I didn't. Absolutely excellent for gaming.

Simplest install i have ever done
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this for listening to streaming services movies/ series and more. Also works very well with music streaming from my TV or phone. I really like the tap to play feature for my Samsung phone. Totally fills the entire room with quality crisp sound. I love the up firing speakers with the atmos it makes so much difference. Simple plug and play install. I'm still playing with the settings in the smart things app.but I'm sure I will get it just right soon.

Outstanding Sound

I can’t believe the sound quality and ease of setup for this soundbar. This unit really packs a punch and has been truly amazing.
My room is now free of speakers and wires and movies sound better than ever.

Great value Sounbar - QSymphony could be better!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Has very clear sound. Especially with Q-Symphony. But, it significantly reduces the bass of the overall system. So Q-Symphony is great for dialogue clarity, but very bad if you like the bass.

All in this system is superb. I will highly recommend. I have an average sized apartment and the set up was ready and everything fit perfectly. I couldn't be more happy with the product.

This system has to be in a class by itself!
I took the time to thoroughly research soundbar systems, and just when I was confident about a particular model, I discovered it had been discontinued—apparently for good reason. So, I went back to the drawing board and came across glowing reviews for the Samsung HW-Q990F 11.1.4 channel system with subwoofer and rear speakers. Although the previous version was available at a lower price, I chose the newer model for its more compact subwoofer design.
This system is truly in a class of its own. After setting it up and running audio through the speakers, I was left speechless. It’s installed in my bedroom, and I didn’t expect it to rival my dedicated home theater system in the basement—but it does. It's not that the HW-Q990F outperforms my theater setup; rather, it delivers a level of immersion that stands apart. If you're considering this system, rest assured—it won’t disappoint.

I have owned multiple soundbar systems, and in my honest opinion the QQ990F takes the cake! My soundbar is set-up in my living room, and is used every single day. The sound projected is rich, balanced, and euphonious. I am very pleased with this sound system, and it's performance. If you're looking to invest into a soundbar system, I would recommend you to go with the QQ990F soundbar set. Very impressive!

Powerful Package, Ultimate Value!

This model (although a smaller footprint sub) packs a punch. Wonderful sound separation and powerful bass from a smaller design. It will transform your viewing and listening experience. Nearly perfect in all ways.

Best sound system to date in our house.

All we had to do is hear this surround system and we were sold. The different ways the sound comes out of all the speakers is amazing to our ears. This Samsung surround system along with our new Samsung TV truly made our living room into a real movie theater.

A great soundbar - Samsung HW-Q990F
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband upgraded the soundbar in our sports bar basement. We had the Samsung HW-Q990C, and my husband wanted that for his home office. So the switch was made.
My husband set it up in less than 15 minutes, and we sat down to test the soundbar. We listened to several movie clips and some sports. To be honest, I thought the Q990C was excellent, and really didn't feel the need to switch. But after our test, I', glad we did.
The biggest reason to me is the size of the bass cube. It really changes the aesthetics of the look. The cube is much smaller than the original, but it's built solid. Looks clean, and it blends in better with its surroundings, in comparison to standing out more. Actually, the small size makes it appear more impressive. I like that. I actually expected less bass, but I was wrong. I, like my husband, don't like boomy bass, we like it tight. The Q990F's bass sounds noticeably tighter to me.
I absolutely recommend the Samsung HW-Q990F.

Upgrade to My Viewing Experience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband used to tease me about how I was satisfied listening to subpar quality music on my phone or watching a movie with the sound playing from the subpar television speakers. I didn’t understand why he thought the sound quality was so poor, and to me, avoiding bulky, hideous audio equipment was more important than the sound when taking everything into consideration. But my perspective changed with the lustrous, modern and discreet design of this quality soundbar, and when I HEARD and recognized the difference that quality sound can have on my entire viewing experience, I fell in love with this Samsung HW-Q800F soundbar.
From the moment we hooked up the soundar, I was actually able to notice the incredible difference in sound from my previous viewing experiences. Whether I’m watching movies, listening to music, or just catching up on the television news, the high audio quality enhances the entire experience. The depth of the base and clarity of voices and other sounds makes every aspect sound more like I’m there experiencing each encounter firsthand.
There are also some features I’ve found that I really enjoy, such as the ability to turn the subwoofer on and off, which comes in extra handy when my littles are down for the night and we’ve already crawled out of their room so as to not wake them. I also appreciate how it is wireless and easy to connect my phone to for music around the living space which I can change quickly and easily depending on the audience.
All of this to say, I used to think soundbars were unnecessary and overpriced, but this soundbar proved me wrong. Enhancing my listening experience has been a game-changer for my home entertainment setup, and I don’t plan to go back to just my television or phone speakers anytime soon.
