Hook it up right and it's the perfect system!
Our Harmon Kardon finally bit the dust so we were in the market for a new soundbar. Surround really hadn't cross my mind, all I knew is I did not like the Bose soundbar. We went to a local big box retailer to listen to the ones on my list Samsung, JBL, Klipsch, and Onkyo. Sono's was on the list but was a bit more than I wanted to spend so we didn't bother with it. It's kind of hard to get the real experience in such an open space. But I was looking for one particular thing when shopping, richness. A lot of these soundbars are just dry. We decided on the Q990F. There is not one ounce of disappointment, I read a few reviews saying the bass was lacking. It's obvious you haven't played around with the settings. I had that thing sounding like I was at a rap concert in the first 5 minutes it was hooked up. My hubby was outside and came in to tell me to turn the bass down and it wasn't even cranked. My suggestion is open it up on Smart Things and play around with the settings. Next is your placement. That can have a huge part in it as well. Ours is basically in a cubbyhole. It acts like a box which amplifies the bass. So yes, this thing thumps if you know what you're doing. The speakers and sub are more than sufficient. The configuration was easy to go through.

True home theater system with immersive experience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchasing this home theater sound system was a long term ambition of mine. With this me and my family experienced a true home theater sound system coupled with my Samsung s90f the entire experience elevated to new level with Q-Symphony. Even a normal TV show is now feeling like a new experience. The sound bar fits really nice in my living room and covers each corner effectively. I love the connectivity options available as it enables to connect the soundbar from any device of my liking.
Talking about the build quality, its well built, nicely finished. All the components are well synced and gives a nice touch to the aesthetic.
All in all, this is the best home theater system with well build components and phenomenal surround sound.

Samsung Q990F Soundbar Top the Line
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung Q990F soundbar is a fantastic soundbar. The system comes with soundbar, upgraded subwoofer and 2 rear speakers. The soundbar and rears have side and up firing speakers that work great. The sound quality is excellent. So much so you can hear footsteps walking down the hall through the movies sound and dialogue. The Q990F takes sports to a whole new level. And with the enhanced dialogue you get the action in your living room and still able to hear the play by play. I would recommend the Q990F soundbar over the other top tier units out there. And you can’t beat the price compared to the others that do not offer extra HDMI connections, or multiple Dolby connectivity like the Samsung. Love this unit!

Easy setup, Great sound!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Q990F soundbar was the easiest piece of sound equipment that I have ever set up. Basically plug and play. You could use the remote or Smart things app to set up the soundbar, rear speakers and sub woofer. Then adjustments of the speakers were just as easy as the setup.
I have to say the surround sound was better than the 7.2 wired system I previously used. I would definitely recommend this soundbar.

Amazing Sound- Good enough for a small or big room
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit replaced Sony 2.1 in our family room and the impact was immediate, the sound was amazing just like the description in the manual. It bounces of the walls and the ceiling feels the music and the ba ground effects are coming from all sides. It is really a pleasure to watch action movies, feels like one is almost a theater. The system is very easy to operate and the only issue is the price which is a little bit on the high side, however, if one can afford this is a great find.

Absolutely insane sound

Love the cutting edge technology

Big Upgrade From My Previous Soundbar

The soundstage is wider, dialogue is clearer, and the surround effects feel more precise. Bold subwoofer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was on the fence to upgrade my home audio.. after feeling like my subwoofer was bothering enough for my living room I started to do some homework on upgrading. When searching I was specific about the upgrading the subwoofer. I kept seeing this option pop up and the price kept my at bay for awhile. I am a huge samsung fan though so I kept my eye on it for about 3 or 4 months it eventually went on sale and I went for it. Since getting I bought some stands for the rear speakers. The subwoofer is amazing. I have turned into a huge movie fan. I have ordered a bunch I feel like will put the sound unit to the test and it has performed. Great option especially for bass fans. Music sounds great too!!

Samsung Q990F, Mind-Blowing Sound!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, this soundbar surprised me in the best way. The Samsung Q990F is a total beast. The sound is loud, clear, and SUPER immersive. With the 11.1.4 channels, you literally feel like the audio is coming from every direction even above your head.
The bass? Oh man… the subwoofer hits hard. Movies feel like you’re sitting in a real theater.
What I love:
• Voices are super clear no more turning up the volume just to hear dialogue
• Explosions and effects sound amazing
• The rear speakers actually make a huge difference
• Easy setup just plug in and go
• Looks clean and premium under the TV
I’ve watched a few action movies and played some games since installing it… Everything sounds EPIC now.
Final Thoughts:
If you want a home theater system that delivers crazy good surround sound without dealing with a bunch of complicated equipment, the Q990F is 100% worth it.
Totally recommend it. You won’t regret buying this one.

Pair with Samsung’s Q-Symphony brings out some incredible sounds. I’m no audiophile but I know when we watch movies the sound is “all around you”. Worth every penny.
