Big sound
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in the market in replacing my old soundbar of 8 years. I came across the Samsung HW-Q800H and it was the best choice I’ve made.
In my current set it up I have it in my master bed room. I don’t need to have the volume up past 20 because the soundbar and subwoofer fills the room with clear highs and a balance bass. Set up is easy with following the instructions in the box. With the supported app you’re able to customize the audio further. You can customize with the remote it came with but at lot better experience with the app. With the soundbar I’m able to stream my music to it without having the TV on. The design of the sound bar is slick and modern. It feels like it’s built to last with its metal shell and blends seamless with my tv and if you have the supported Tv you can unlock symphony which adds to the immersion.
Overall if your looking for a slick low profile sound bar and with high quality drivers, look no further than the HW-Q800h.

Superb Sound!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a different sound system from 2022 so I was leary about trying this one. I can tell you it far out performs my previous one and it was incredibly easy to install. I love that it has a screen to tell you what its doing and the fact that it connects with Alexa and the Samsung sound app. Turns out I was missing so much sound and I had no idea. My car shows are far different now and don't even get me started on NFL. I feel like im actually a part of the game with sound all around me.

Great Sound Out Of The Box
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed the Q800H on my Samsung 75" QLED TV set. Went from closed box to up and running is about 30 minutes total, including configuration (Samsung Sound App, SmartThings, Q-Symphony, ...). I set it up for AI Sound Mode, which shows up on the sound bar apps but still only shows Adaptive Sound on the TV. Dolby Atmos support auto-configured as well, but took a little bit of searching through menus to confirm. You'll find that the apps (Samsung Sound and SmartThings) give you the most flexibility for fine tuning settings. Further, Samsung Sound allows the most playback options and easiest integration with 3rd party apps.
The sound is impressively clear and detailed, both at lower and higher volumes. It's consistent and adapts automatically from movies to videos to regular TV and apps. The subwoofer is small and packs an impressive punch for its size. The bass is full and there when expected with firm and clear tones that are well-balanced, not overpowering everything else.
Visually, the sound bar easily blends in with the rest of the TV and other components via a minimalist, black form factor. The subwoofer tucks away easily to the side and is very unobtrusive. Unless you were actively looking for them, you wouldn't really notice them at all. But turn up the volume, and their presence is immediately felt.
Overall, I highly recommend this one. 90% plus of setup is amazingly simple. And the quality of the sound at any level is on par with most any home audio system.

Nice sound, low price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When you want big sound without the loss of clarity, this is the way to go. And you aren't spending an arm and a leg to do so unlike other competitors. Less money, but great bass and sound. It really brings you into the movie, sports, or concert as if you're on stage.

Calibration on Point!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tired of adjusting volumes to different volumes based on apps and content. Soundbar automatically does that based on the environment and content playing. Another great feature is the Spotify connect - I no longer have to play through various Alexa devices as this one soundbar and sub does the job. Easy to install within 30 mins and pairs quickly! Would recommend.

Easy install and great sound
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a hard time understanding spoken word on the television so my brother suggested I get a soundbar with a subwoofer. I am not versed in the this but the way he explained it the subwoofer takes over the burden of the bass frequency so that makes higher frequencies, like spoken word, easier to understand. I bought this Q Series 800H Soundbar for that purpose and he was exactly right. I can now understand everything everybody says on the tv without closed captions! It came in a funny looking box but it was packed well. Took me about five minutes to install it by plugging it into my already existent optical audio cable and plugging in the power. Instant, gorgeous sound! Then I plugged in the subwoofer by my chair it and paired automatically with the soundbar. The remote pairing and downloading the Samsung Sound app were also super easy. Literal five minutes install. The sound is great and I can understand the TV so I would give this 15 stars if I could.

Easy and powerful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the HW-Q800H and I found it has very powerful and clear sound. It was a breeze to get set up. I'm not the most experienced with technology as I usually have someone set things up for me, but this wasn't daunting at all. It was really just two power cables and a HDMI cable going to the TV. Once I had the app on my phone, I was all set up. It took me about 15 minutes to get everything going and enjoying it. I noticed I can hear voices clearer than before with the inbuilt speakers on my TV. The left and right side audio isn't the most distinct but it's very good for one bar just below my tv. I didn't need to mess with the settings in the app, it sounded okay to me out the box.

Solid speakers with little effort
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung HW-Q800H was purchased for my Frame TV and it performs much better than the original speakers. The allure of the TV is having it blend into the background. The soundbar has a low profile, and the subwoofer has a clean look. Since it is wireless, it can be hidden next to my couch while still improving the sound quality. As for the sound, it has crisper sound. The dialogue comes through well but it requires upping the volume to really hear the benefiits. The bass is decent despite the size and the soundstage is solid given how compact everything is.
The setup was simple with HDMI, and the wireless subwoofer pairs seamlessly without any hassle or any special setup besides plugging in. Hooking it up to my ONN TV was straightfoward as well.

Easy to setup and Great Sound

I love how easy this was to setup, the wireless subwoofer paired without me having to do anything other than plug it in. HDMI ARC works great, bluetooth and AirPlay are always live which is awesome you because many soundbars need to be turned on for this to work. The Samsung app makes it easy to change settings without fiddling with the included remote. I also had the advantage of pairing it with a Samsung TV, so I can change the sound mode right from the TV options since they communicate well together.
Sound:
Great soundstage, I watched Top Gun Maverick and Queen in Dolby Atmos to get a good idea of the performance. I will say it does provide excellent sound in most cases, but if I had to nitpick music sounds better on other brands I have tried. The Atmos and surround effect from a single bar is pretty good, I have a large open room and no matter where you are sitting/standing it sounds the same.
Overall:
Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a simple all in one solution to improve their TV and Movie watching experience without bulky speakers, subwoofer, receiver, etc. I am only going to 4 stars because it should have 120hz HDMI pass through instead of 60hz in 2026, and its airplay music processing could be improved.

Excellent speaker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Q800H speaker are excellent speakers. The sound is very clear. Despite it's small size, the sub produces great bass. You do need the samsung smart things app to get them most out of the speakers. The various adjustments like the space fit pro, and sound elevation do make a huge difference. The 2 cons I have noticed, is a not enough speakers in the front of sound bar and lack of surround rear speakers that hinders it from delivery complete surround sound. This will be great for a small apartment or bedroom.

Great Product, only one complaint
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sound: The overall sound is great on this unit as a switch from a traditional receiver and wired speakers. The preset modes are great for an easy out of the box experience. It made movies and games refreshed and I heard aspects of the audio I hadn't before. The subwoofer can be set to a mode that allows you to really feel explosions or hard-hitting bass on your songs if you so desire.
Design: I love the fact that the subwoofer is wireless and only needs a cord so it can be plugged in anywhere! The only reason for subtracting a star is because the power cord did not seem to fit snuggly into the soundbar and it has fallen out on my twice. If you want to hang it from your TV, this could be an issue. I do also appreciate the little LED display to give a bit of information on the mode you are currently using.
App:The samsung sound app makes it easy to change sound profiles to whatever you are currently watching. It also has a great equializer in it to fine tune as needed. The app allowed the speaker to be setup as another google speaker to cast to which I greatly appreciate.
Remote: The remote gives some nice options to adjust the speaker on it's own, however I dont' use it much with an ARC setup because I end up using my main TV remote or the app to do sound adjustments.
