The soundbar to beat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Q series soundbars, specifically the HW-Q900F, continues with the same magnificent performance as previous generation but with overall improved subwoofer design and performance.
First, let’s talk about specs. The HW-Q900F is a 7.1.2 channel soundbar setup. It includes 7 combined front and side firing channels, 1 subwoofer, and 2 upward firing speakers. The soundbar brings Wireless Dolby Atmos, Q-Symphony with compatible Samsung TVs, smaller wireless subwoofer, and SpaceFit Sound.
Samsung has stayed with previous generation design for the most part. The fit and finish for both soundbar and sub are excellent. Material feels very durable and high quality. Even the sticker with the soundbar’s spec feels high quality. This is a top tier premium device.
The HW-Q900F offers several connectivity options, including 1 x HDMI-eARC, 1x HDIM, Digital Audio In (Optical), bluetooth pairing, and Tap to sound.
Specs mean nothing if the soundbar can’t perform. I’m going to put this to rest and say the performance remains top notch and Samsung has done nothing less than to continue setting the gold standard for soundbars. All these speakers built into the sound bar provides rich cinematic sounds from video contents. What this means is surround sound when watching movies, listening to music, or playing games. Extremely clear vocals that will not get muffled or buried with all the other sounds. The soundbar also has Q-Symphony which provides enhanced audio for a more impactful presence when paired with a compatible Samsung TV. Built into the soundbar is SpaceFit Sound. This feature helps calibrate the room automatically!
If you want a soundbar and absolutely want top tier, then this is it! Yes, you do get what you pay for and in 2025 Samsung is again setting the bar high.

This new awesome sound bar includes AI processing for your Samsung TV, and Space fit feature that automatically adjust clarity bases on the location room you’re in makes me wonder about AI as a positive thing.
This Samsung Q900 soundbar has 9 speakers with built in amps and a massive powerful subwoofer. These 9 speakers have a dedicated center speaker providing excellent audio then add the side and front drivers for the surround Dolby atoms quality. The 9 speakers make the surround sound feel like you’re at the movies especially when you have like an airplane or an explosion the subwoofer pushes that out to bring that big bang sound alive. When you connect just via Alexa or Bluetooth and listen to music you will be amazed on how the high and low tones are adjusted for a superior music enjoyment.
Also comes with a wall mount bracket, and cables for 2 HDMI inputs, supports ARC audio return channel, optical input. The remote an excellent one as the sound bar has a visual digital read out for your volume, ARC, subwoofer, and other features a rare feature from the competition.

I’ve had this setup for about a month now, and honestly, it’s been a game-changer for my living room. I paired it with a Samsung TV (which really makes a difference thanks to Q-Symphony), and it instantly turned my movie nights into something way more immersive.
Sound Quality
The sound is massive. You get actual surround sound with the rear speakers and height channels, so things like rain or helicopters feel like they’re really above you. It’s not just loud—it’s detailed. Dialogue is clear even in action scenes, and that’s partly thanks to the Active Voice Amplifier.
The bass hits hard too. The subwoofer is wireless and packs a punch without being muddy. You feel explosions, not just hear them.

Best soundbar for my living room!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used the Q900F Soundbar for about 2 weeks now, and it’s been a solid upgrade for my home theater setup. I streamed Dolby Atmos content and it really made a difference from the TV speakers, created a deeper and more immersive sound experience. The subwoofer delivers deep bass, and I appreciate its small size and aethetic design. The setup was very easy, it’s pretty much plug and play. Another feature that I like is broadcasting from the app. It lets me record a voice message and plays it in our living room, very fun way to talk to family members in my opinion.
HW-Q900F soundbar and subwoofer looks almost identical to the HW-Q990F. I have always heard of Samsung HW-Q990 series soundbars as best soundbars in the market. Although, I didn't have a good space for the rear speakers, so I think the HW-Q900F was best soundbar for me. I definitely recommend it!

Absolute Game Changer!!

It's clear, loud, bass boosted, which is the most important part in my opinion. Not to mention it has the perfect amount of volume control and looks so sleek and lovely for my equally outstanding Samsung TV stand. Great Soundbar!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My review is on the HW-Q900F soundbar. When the soundbar arrived it was packed really well. Taking it out of the box and setting it up was very easy. The sound is vibrant and the woofer has great bass and it's also good that the woofer is wireless. I like that the sound bar has two HDMI inputs. Allot of other sound bars only have one input. This sound bar brings to life whatever you are watching and listening too. I do like the active voice amplifier, it helps separate voices from the background. The only criticism that I have is with the remote control volume button. It's tricky to use because the volume button is the same for raising or lowering the sound volume, but really it's not a big deal once you figure it out. I would highly recommend this sound bar to my family, friends and everyone.

INCREDIBLE SOUND UPGRADE
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently purchased Samsungs HW-Q900F soundbar with subwoofer, and what an incredible upgrade from what I was using. From the beginning of opening the box to setting up the soundbar and subwoofer, it really was as easy as it gets. Having a Samsung Tv made it even easier to pair, it paired automatically when I plugged everything in. Also, with the Samsung Tv, once connected the sound came from the soundbar, the subwoofer and the tv. Samsung calls it Q-Symphony. The sound quality is absolutely crystal clear with precise depth and with the subwoofers deep base, it’s an Incredible sound experience. Very pleased with my purchase and definitely would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their soundbar setup.

High quality crystal clear sound - fast setup!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For years I've wanted to get good surround sound, but couldn't because I couldn't have wires running everywhere because I didn't want my kids tripping on them or pulling them down (and the speakers with them). I had always thought soundbars were boring - until I got this in the mail. This thing provides crystal clear sound with good channel differentiation and a rocking sub, all with only power cords and one HDMI cable. Every part of this is great - from unboxing and setup to actual usage.
Unboxing - A couple of tape cuts and I was in business. This was packaged super securely without feeling like it had "excess packaging". I had everything out and unwrapped in less than 5 minutes.
Setup - I plugged my streaming box and gaming console directly into the soundbar and then the soundbar to the arc port on my TV. I plugged the subwoofer into the power outlet as well, and then turned everything on. The sub connected automatically and the sound was working right away. I was even able to use my streaming box's remote to control the volume without any additional setup since I plugged into the ARC port.
Usage - The sound on this thing gets LOUD without losing any clarity. Even pushing the volume, diagonal is clear, bass is deep, and there is clear movement between left and right channels. This is the first time I've used Atmos and the immersion just blew me away. It really felt like I was enveloped in sound, but without being overwhelmed with just "noise". This comes with a remote to help change settings and volume, but my streaming box and game console helped it switch inputs automatically. My room is also laid out a bit weird, so it adapting the sound to automatically correct for that using the SpaceFit Sound Pro feature is awesome! I'm looking forward to adding the optional rear wireless speakers to get an even more immersive experience, though it absolutely doesn't need it! I also love being able to control it at my phone when I feel like the kids have it at a volume that's too loud.

Exceptional Quality and Performance!

It brings powerful cinematic sound with Dolby Atmos to your living room space with four different modes of sound. The surround sound mode is movie theater quality. The overall sound is immersive, crisp and clear with rich heavy bass projected from the subwoofer.
The setup is quick and all features can be conveniently controlled and adjusted to the viewer liking using the Samsung SmartThings App. This is one of the best soundbars I have used thus far!

An Excellent Soundbar
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Samsung Q900F replaced a much smaller Atmos soundbar that I'd been using for the last few years, and wow what a difference! If you have the space (this thing is 4 feet long!) I think you'd be hard pressed to find something that can create a better soundstage without adding rear speakers. We have an open concept living room, so rear speakers were never a viable option, but I am incredibly pleased with the performance. I find that dialogue is clearer and crisper (especially when turning the voice enhancement feature on) and honestly think I'm now hearing parts of the audio that I hadn't been hearing before. I also like how easily the Bluetooth connects to different devices and think the small text display on the front of the soundbar is very helpful in determining what is connected and which audio source is selected. The app works well, but if anything I wish it was more descriptive. I can use it to tune the sound and to turn features on and off, but I'd love if there was more information in the app about what each of those features do. But all-in-all I'm very happy with the Q900F and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to others.

What was that?!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the soundbar to accompany my new 98" tv but what really sold me on it was the Q-symphony function which allows me to play the sound simultaneously with the tv. I've always til this point muted my television whenever using a surround sound system to eliminate the echo sound the tv & soundbars would give off together. Those days are over! Those days are -----! See what I did there?! Eliminated the echo! Watching sports & streaming tv series & movies are so much more immersive with sounds & I'll honestly never go back to how it always used to be. I didn't need this soundbar as I had already owned a surround sound system but after this purchase my realization couldn't of been any more wide eyed & my ears are now playing tricks on me with how crisp I hear the more subtle sounds we'd never notice before while watching TV. I'm still not use to all the head turning I do when I don't realize at 1st that it's the speaker in background & not something or someone in my home or outside my front door. I love this thing & it has me reacting to different noises the same way my daughter reacted to wearing 3D glasses for the 1st time at the movie theater looking to the side as if something were there. I find it super cool! Just saying! Football season can't start back up fast enough! I'm always excited now to watch anything nowadays with the sound being as big to me as my big screen. Im a proof is in the pudding type of guy & with that. "HEY SAMSUNG KEEP SERVING IT UP CAUSE IM BUYING!

Home Sound Leveled Up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded my home theater setup with the Samsung Q Series 7.1.2 ch Soundbar + Subwoofer (HW-Q900C), and I’ve been blown away by how much it’s transformed my viewing and listening experience.
The Dolby Atmos support is no joke—it really does create a surround sound feel that fills the whole room. Whether I’m watching movies, sports, or just streaming music, the sound is immersive and crisp. Dialogue is super clear, which was a big issue with my last system, and the wireless subwoofer adds some serious punch without being overwhelming.
One of my favorite features is the Q-Symphony, which syncs the soundbar with my Samsung TV's speakers. I didn’t expect it to make a huge difference, but it actually enhances the soundstage and makes everything more dynamic.
Setup was a breeze. The soundbar connected instantly to my TV via HDMI eARC, and the subwoofer paired on its own as soon as I plugged it in. I will say, if you want to dig into the more advanced sound settings, you might need to look up a few guides online, since the manual isn’t super detailed.
A few things I wish were better: I’d love more options to fine-tune the sound profiles, and navigating some of the deeper features could be easier. But overall, those are minor gripes compared to the overall performance.
