Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sometimes fast, but runs hot. I got one of these USB drives, for secret Santa. At first, it was pretty fast, but after around a minute, I noticed that it got pretty slow when copying my photos. Also, the random read/write speed is slow and runs hot. I'm guessing this is because it is using USB 3.0, which uses more power than USB 2.0 and 1.0. It also uses around 896 mA, which is as much as my External HDD (My Passport for Mac), while my Samsung FIT Plus USB 3.1 Flash drive only used around 300 mA. SanDisk really needs to make their drives more energy efficient. But overall, it was a pretty good USB Drive.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 128GB at store but 114,61 GiB at home! I have bought a 128 GB(128*10^9 bytes according to the manual). However, when I convert it to GiB : 128*10^9*(1024^ -3) = 119.2093 Giga Byte. So I should have 119.2093 Giga Byte available storage space. However, I had only "114,61 GiB= 123060879360 Byte". Why?
